A short YouTube transcript of Vishen Lakhiani and others introducing and discussing the 'Earth Flag' (also called the International Flag of Planet Earth). Speakers emphasize the flag as a unifying, apolitical symbol representing all life and planetary citizenship—meant to transcend national identities and inspire a shared perspective. The piece is promotional/advocational in tone, suggesting the flag's emotional power when flown globally.

This is a flag most people haven't seen, but I believe it is the most important flag in the world right now. It's called the Earth Flag. And no, it doesn't belong to any country. It belongs rather to all of us.
I created the International Flag of Planet Earth as my graduation project from Beckman's College of Design. And I asked myself, when we travel into space, shouldn't we be doing that as representatives of Earth? So designing a flag for Earth is a bit tricky because it needs to represent everything that is Earth. Not only humanity, but also all the animals, ecosystems, and something that could really portray unity.
In a world that feels more divided than ever. We need symbols that remind us who we truly are. Not just citizens of nations, but citizens of planet Earth.
The reason why I love flags is that they could really.
Move people, help.
Them shift.
Their perspective.
So imagine what a flag like this could do if it was flown everywhere.
Because while we all value our individual national identity, we all could see a layer above that. That we shared a common planet and that we were citizens of planet Earth first.
And that's the real.
Power with this flag. It's not about politics.
Any specific ideology or religion. It's just remembering that we're part of.
Something bigger.
So I believe this is the flag of the future, the flag of Earth, a flag for all of us. It's why I love this idea. And mindvalley is fully behind it. Fly it, share it, use it as a sticker on your baggage or computer. Let it remind you who you really are.
