Their no sugar added option actually has more sugar. Okay, guys, I'm going to sneak you into an average grocery store. You see, Americans in particular, love their freedom. But American food companies, along with many other European food companies, have actually taken away your freedom through insidious marketing strategies that have been programming you since you were a child to desire, want, and crave things that they want you to buy. And what going to do here is show you how. Okay, check this one out. This drink, okay? They put a sportsman on the COVID It's marketed as something that actually makes you healthy. Now look at the ingredients. It is 9.3 grams of sugar for every 20 grams. This is 40% sugar. It's literally this much sugar. But again, promote it as a health drink with to play for you this video. Time to beat energy gap. This ad that you're about to see has been called by Dr. Mark Hyman, one of America's top doctors, as one of the most insidious, untruthful, blatant corruptions of advertising. Where Nestle tells Filipino moms and dads 4 out of 5 kids have it a bullshit invented disease. And that to kill energy gaps, you feed them this, which is primarily 40% sugar. Yes, cure your kids by giving them a sugar spike. Now, the breakfast aisle. Everything from BO grill to jams to preserves. How is this in the breakfast aisle? This is essentially chocolate. Nutella and Ferrero Rocher have been sued for portraying chocolate as breakfast. But worse than that, this isn't even real chocolate. This is primarily palm oil. Serving size, 15 grams. 8.4 grams of sugar. This has more sugar than anything else per serving. Companies like this are often coming up with new ways to label sugar. This is actually a phenomenon. The British Heart association has made a chart so you can be aware of all the different names for sugar that companies put on their packaging to confuse you. Now, let's talk about fake health labeling. Companies know that you're getting more conscious of sugar. This is Sunkist 100% orange juice. So they say no sugar added. Observe the price. $10.66. Right now, this apparent the lower grade option. Okay, $5.83. The no sugar added is double the price. And if you actually look at total sugars per serving, it's 22.5 grams. You look at the one that's cheaper, it's actually 21.3 grams of sugar. The no sugar added option actually has more sugar. I've always wondered, is one of America's most beloved companies based on a blatant lie? Coca Cola is A company that basically exist to take high fructose corn syrup and market it as happiness in a red can to brainwash billions of people to consume, drink and put in their bodies a substance that is destructive to human health.
What's cola?
Poison water. We know that today. But there's something that makes me slightly uncomfortable. See, I'm a big Warren Buffett fan. I love Warren Buffett. He's such a nice guy. But I've often wondered, why is it that such a nice man like Warren Buffett invested so much money in Coca Cola? We own 400 million shares of Coca Cola stock. As you know, we've never sold a share. And I wouldn't think of selling a share. I like this one. I decided to sit down with Mary Buffett, Warren Buffett's former daughter in law, who wrote over 10 books on Buffett's style of investing, including Buffetology, to see what Mary Buffett thinks about this apparent dichotomy. Such a nice man investing in such a bad idea. How can we even talk about investing in Coca Cola when the basic premise of this company is making the human race sicker?
There will be a certain number of people who will continue to drink Coca Cola over the years. Younger people probably won't. Over the years, the younger people that we're talking about will most likely change their brand to adapt to healthier things. There will always be some people drinking Coca Cola. But for instance, I used to own Philip Morris. I used to own tobacco stocks. And I got to a point where it was just socially irresponsible for me. Even though I made a great deal of profit, I had to make the decision to sell the tobacco stocks.
So times are going to change.
Times are changing.
I believe Cola will be viewed the same way we today view tobacco stocks within the next 10 years.
Within the next 10 years.
I love what Mary just said about dumping tobacco stock. You see, what we often see normal in society today might be seen as abnormal future generations down as we grow in consciousness. In 1999, I attended a student leadership conference. It was sponsored by British American Tobacco. Think about that for a moment. Would you allow your 19 or 20 year old kid to attend a student leadership conference sponsored by British American Tobacco? That student leadership conference I was part of still exist today. They have learned to no longer take money from British American Tobacco. But guess what? Coca Cola is one of their biggest sponsors. I bet you they are going to dump Coca Cola as a sponsor within the next 10 years. As Mary Buffett alluded to, we are awakening in 10 years. Investing in Coca Cola would be as horrible as investing in Big Tobacco. Taking sponsorship money from Coca Cola, Coca Cola would be as bad as taking sponsorship money from Big Tobacco. Human society evolves, and it's evolving away from companies that use mass marketing and fake advertising to brainwash the population to buy craptastic products. Now, Coca Cola dough is ingenious. Check out what it says on their Instagram. Spreading optimism. I don't know about that. Maybe spreading diabetes, maybe spreading obesity, but definitely not spreading optimism. We know today that 95% of the serotonin in our brain, the chemical that creates happiness and good emotions, comes from our gut bacteria. And we know Coca Cola messes that up. So Coca Cola is actually worse for your emotional states. The ads may lift you up in 30 seconds, but consuming that so bad. So you've heard from a buffet herself. What do you think? Are you going to continue serving Coca Cola to your children? If you're a CEO, are you going to keep Coca Cola vending machines in your office? If you are a university administrator or a high school administrator, are you going to be serving Coke in the halls of your schools? It's up to you to decide. But if you are, we don't blame you. Coca Cola has engaged in one of the biggest, biggest forms of mass brainwashing known to man. Much the same that Philip Morris engaged in decades ago. But we are going to wake up and you can be on the leading edge of humanity's evolution, or you can be backwards. The choice is yours. You may not know it, but if you're the average person alive on earth today, you are being lied to. And you are buying into five great lies about the food you put in your body. These lies cost you money, they cost you your longevity, they cost you health, and they negatively impact the health of your family. Billions of people buy into these lies and eat and drink things that they think are healthy. But when you understand the truth, you gain the ability to immunize yourself from these lies. Doing this will not only add years to your life, but it will save you and your family thousands of dollars. The first big lie is fruit juice. We are trained to believe that fruit juice is healthy because we associate fruits with health and nutrition. Fruits are healthy, but fruit juice is not. Most modern fruit juices that you buy in a grocery store are filled with sugar and artificial flavoring and only contain a tiny bit of the total vitamins and nutritions that you would get in an actual fruit. Big lie number two. Companies like Coca Cola in their worldwide marketing create an Artificial connection between their drink and your happiness. Coca Cola isn't happiness and positivity in a red can. It is obesity and diabetes in a red can. Billions of dollars are spent every year by large soda companies to associate their drinks with happiness, positivity, a sense of adventure and deeper human connection. All of these are triggers that entice us as human beings. But within every can are slow poisons that wreak havoc on your body. The big lie number three, Sugar. Yes, our bodies do need small levels of sugar every now and then. However, large food companies have realized that sugar's addictive quality means that when they add sugar to their products, we can't stop buying them and eating them. Thus, up to 70% or more of products that you buy in the average American grocery store today contain sugar. And sugar, says modern science, is not just bad for your health, it can be as addictive as cocaine. Companies get you hooked on eating more and more and more. Big lie number four, the lie of diet soda. In a brilliant move, they took the word diet, a word that we associate with health, and slapped it on cans of soda. It's proven that diet soda, in many cases is actually worse for your body than regular soda because it disrupts the trillions of cells in your gut that regulate your biology. Line number five is the exercise myth. Modern studies show that 80 to 90% of your body shape has little to do with exercise. In fact, most of your body shape is based on what you eat. Companies like Nestle market drinks like Milo and put sports stars on the package, suggesting to kids in developing countries that drinking Milo gives them the energy for them to go forth and succeed at sports. What Nestle doesn't share is that Milo is 40% sugar. In fact, to burn off the number of calories in a glass of Milo, a child would have to run 2km. It is no wonder that that in countries with high consumption of Milo, obesity is on the rise. These five lies flow together in beautiful symphony and brainwash billions of us to eat things that are bad for us to spend our money with. Large companies who get us hooked on substances that destroy our health. And they are hurting not just us, but our children and entire generations to come. The way to get these companies to shift is to expose these lies so that these companies take responsibility and change their products for the better. The last time we created a video like this to expose Nestle's practices in Malaysia, we got banned from every single media outlet in Malaysia because Nestle spends 3 billion a year on advertising. However, our video became the biggest story in Malaysia because Malaysians shared it using WhatsApp. This pushed Nestle to side with the truth In Australia and New Zealand, Milo lost its 4 1/2 stars for health and became one star in Singapore. Zero sugar Milo was introduced. When we stop falling for the lies, we take away the power that these companies have to destroy our health. So let's stop this blatant lying to billions of people. Share this video and let's wake up humanity to the truth. Sam.
