A short YouTube video/transcript in which Vishen Lakhiani interviews his father about the father's experience with the 10X fitness program. Vishen's dad (age given as 72 and stated he'll be 73 in January) began 10X around age 70–71 and completed a one-month focused program that dramatically increased his leg strength: leg press improved from ~80 kg to 140 kg (reported as a 75% increase) in four weeks. The video is presented as a proof point that strength training can counteract age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia) and reduce issues like lower-back pain.

So we have this belief that aging is a natural part of life and that our bodies naturally deteriorate with aging. And this is somewhat true if you do not do the right exercise after the age of 30. Basically through a concept called sarcopenia, you're losing 1% of your muscle mass every year. But. But you can Prevent this. And 10x is one of the best ways to do this. Watch what happened to my father after we put him on 10x. And this was a one month transformation. What you're about to see is my dad. He is 70 years old in this video. He was about to hit his 71st birthday and you're about to see him increase his leg strength by 75%. He went from being able to leg press 8080 kg to 140 kg in four weeks flat. Wow. Come down.
Don't do another rep. You can. Two reps, two RM on 140 kgs. Come back down and relax. Relax completely. One more, one more and push. Three reps on 140. How's that Vishal?
Amazing. How's that? Three reps on your. What was his previous weight? 80. 80. So from 80 kg to 150 kg in four weeks. 140. 140. 80 to 140 in four weeks.
80 to 140 in four weeks.
Amazing. Yeah. So that video you saw was me and Lorenzo, the co founder of 10X. And that was at the end of four weeks. My dad was asked to do one leg press to see what was his one rep max. He did three. Three. So really proud of you, dad. Three at 140 kilograms. How did that feel?
It felt very good.
And I know it had a. This showed you just how much you can do, right? How much you can really train your body and transform your body with the right techniques.
I'm still doing it and it's helped me in my lower back pain.
That's great.
And I'm very pleased with it.
That's great. So I wanted to share this video as an inspiration for all of you. I'm going to be 45 in a week or two, so I'm in my mid-40s and I want to have a healthier body at 50 than I did at 21. And this is no longer fantasy, this is now science. This is why I was so excited about funding the research for 10x4 years of research and development, deploying it on people I love like my dad and now in the mindvalley community. So join me in this masterclass if you want to learn more. If you want to go through this, you will learn. You will. Actually, we're actually going to show you the leg press regimen that we trained my dad. The entire thing is in this masterclass and we've adapted it now so you don't need a leg press machine. You can do it from home. For those of you who don't have a gym, I'll see you in the masterclass. Thank you.
