I'm in Barcelona right now, and I want to talk about why I went to Barcelona. I'm a business owner in the US From Los Angeles area, Orange county, and I love my life. My life is incredible. And because it's incredible, I want to progress my skills. And I sort of feel responsible to become better and better over time. And progression is the key to happiness, or at least so says Tony Robbins and a lot of other experts that seem to be happy. Because I feel like it becomes more difficult as you get older to stay quote, unquote happy. And what I mean by that is happy with yourself. And I think progression is a key to that may not be the only key. So for me, this is all about challenging my life, challenging myself, and making sure that I'm not too accustomed to where I live and what I do and try to make myself a little bit better. So here I am in Barcelona, attending the Mindvalley University program and putting myself in a culture with a language I do not speak, although slightly understand. I'm sure I'll get better by the end of the month, and I'm going to try to make this work. Thanks, guys, for all of your support and for all the haters, don't watch this. Today is the day, you guys. Today is the day that I leave for Barcelona. Sam Sa hey, guys. I'm here at the La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. This is my first full day here. I slept 13 and a half hours after being on the plane and not sleeping for like 30 hours total. A little bit over 30 hours. There it is. Now I'm not going inside today. I'm just staying on the outside. I'm going to book a tour sometime during the week because it's packed right now. There's like a wall around it, hundreds of people waiting to get in. So I'm not going to do it right now. But there is a familiar face over here. Starbucks. Streets are crazy. Don't try to walk unless the walk sign is on because they will run you over. This is not California. I just stepped in a giant warm pile of dog poop. So fresh it must have been. Oh, I can smell it. Just walking around this city reminds me so much of just a massive version of San Francisco. I mean, I've been walking for over an hour now, and every single street is just like all the ones I've been showing you guys. Interestingly, the tagging and the graffiti here doesn't mean a bad thing. Doesn't mean you're in a bad area because it's everywhere. The super nice areas, although I haven't found any, like super bad areas, I would say. And when I asked everyone like, what should I avoid, they said nothing. There are no bad areas. Gas prices are insanely cheap. There's a gas station right behind me for a $84 in euros, which would come out somewhere like $2.10 a gallon for the good stuff, $30 in euros for the like regular unleaded here, which would come out to like a dollar sixty. $60.70 per gallon. Whoa, same shoe. Now I just stepped in gum. Welcome to Barcelona. Three hours and counting. A little bit more than three hours still. Just like downtown San Francisco, just for miles and miles. I just get reminded by this alley that I am in the real life Assassin's Creed right now. It's kind of exciting. There's probably one of these courtyards. It seems like every corner, quarter mile or half mile or so, and usually there's just a ton of people. It's really loud and chairs are very close together and there's one, two, maybe three places that all serve food within the out or the exterior of that courtyard. There are a lot of smokers in Barcelona. Just be prepared when you're walking around. I keep trying to put my camera down, but this place keeps blowing me away and I keep having to record awesome stuff. So hopefully now it's the end it. I've completely given up trying to stop filming. Every block. There's something amazing going on. Everybody's drinking, no one's drunk that I've talked to old people, young people, like, everything. It's crazy. The city is so beautiful. It's going to take me at least a month just to try to show you guys a little bit of this because my camera can only capture so much. What we just walked through is the bada, which is like a party. And I asked my, my Airbnb host like, oh, how often is the bada? And she's like, there's really no regularity to it, just whenever they want to. So I was like, like once a month. She's like, oh, more than that, I'm not sure. Just another random party. I'm two blocks away from Nevada. Any open wall is a soccer wall. Okay? I am quite literally about to carve into my first meal of the day, aside from a bulletproof bar and black coffee. And it's going to be so good. I found a burger place that does like gluten free avocado bacon. Basically a burger lounge in Spain. And they speak Quito. Ingles, and, wow, have I learned a lot of Spanish today or relearned a lot of Spanish? It's been awesome. I love this city. Now, yesterday I was kind of freaking out because I hadn't slept in so long, and now I'm really digging. I'm really excited. And let me show you guys a quick view from the porch. I haven't done a house walkthrough yet because I really. I'm saving that. There's just so much stuff that I saw today that I'm not going to show you guys because I need to save it. There's just so much awesome stuff that I want to teach you about what I'm learning here if you ever want to visit. And then also just to show you some of the beautiful, beautiful architecture, more of the people, and all the different languages that I've been hearing throughout the day, although mostly Spanish. You should definitely learn Spanish. Anyways, here's a little view of the backyard without the full house tour, food. Nice and quiet. Nice and quiet. Okay, so for real now. I'll see you guys tomorrow. Peace.
