Have you ever been accused of yelling when you did not think you were yelling? I hear a lot of guilty laughter, yes. I've got news for you. You were yelling. Okay? So yelling is not about volume. Yelling is about tone. And this is why it's important to understand this. Think about, if we're in a room and somebody yawns, what happens next? Other people yawn. It's a weird human thing, right? And for some of you, even me saying the word yawning. I got you. I got you. Right. Even the word yawning triggers it. Why? Because of mirror neurons. So? Mirror neurons are nerve receptors that reflect back the emotions that we see. So, in other words, vibes matter. If I'm coming into this conversation with negativity, if I am yelling in this conversation, what happens? Their mirror neurons see that. They reflect it back to me. Then my mirror neurons see that, and they say, are you. Do you have an attitude with me? And now things spiral out of control very quickly. So we need to be making sure that we manage our own emotions so we carry the right energy into these conversations. Sam.
