The presenter advises reading the full document but stresses starting with the executive summary to get the deal's main points — notably company information (addresses), equity classes, and sponsors.

You should have basically an executive summary that gives you a big picture view of the deal. And I would as you're as not as your attorney but as an attorney I would say read the all the document read every single thing. But as a human being and an attorney that has clients I know that you're probably not necessarily reading all of it or maybe not understanding all of it but one area where you definitely want to look at is that initial executive summary because this should and if you're saying tell me about the deal, what's the main points, what's kind of going on you should have that generally contained within this area. And so you'll see here we have the general company information so we have the address. Again I've kind of changed the information so that I to protect the client but you have the addresses. If there's multiple classes you'd have what those classes are. We talk about the sponsors.
