Short YouTube podcast excerpt (Tom Zeeb) describing a three-step negotiation framework for real estate wholesaling: Pinpoint (identify the prospect's core problem by asking probing questions and peeling back layers), Package (assemble a solution tailored to the prospect’s needs, e.g., a sale package for their property), and Persuade (use techniques—described as both art and science—to move a prospect from no to yes).

Three main things I focus on negotiation. They're my three Ps. So the first is pinpoint. I got to pinpoint what the problem of the person I'm talking to is. I do that by talking to them, you know, asking them questions. What's the problem? What's going on? What are you after? Get them to kind of see the what the way out could be. So I'm digging. I keep peeling off layers of the onion on their issue and getting down to the core of what's wrong with. Once I've pinpointed the problem, then I can package up a solution for them. So they've told me what's wrong. They told me what they want. I can put together a package to make that work from the sale of their real estate. Then that only leaves the third P, which is to persuade them to say yes to me. Because most people stay stuck on no, unless you have a specific way of moving them to say yes to you. And that's what persuasion is all about. And that's kind of the. It's both the art and the science of negotiation. It's not just. It's not just the art. It's actually more the science of negotiation that matters.
