Would you rather fly with an experienced pilot or a first timer? Exactly. Hi, I'm Wayne Courage iii, managing principal of CREI Partners. In real estate syndications, the sponsor or the pilot is critically important. Passive investors look closely at the track record of the team managing the deal. They want to see a history of successful projects, acquisitions, holds and exits that meet or exceeded projections. It's not just about how many years you've been around, but what you've done in those years. For instance, have you successfully navigated a deal during a downturn? Have you returned capital as promised? At CREI Partners, we're proud of our track record. Multiple projects with strong returns and happy investors. We often share case studies and references so new investors can verify our history. It's okay if a sponsor hasn't hit a grand slam every time, because no one does. But investors want to see honesty about past challenges and how they were handled, too. It's about credibility. A solid track record gives investors confidence that these folks know what they're doing. And that confidence is priceless when you're entrusting someone with your capital. Want to invest with a team that's been around the block and knows how to deliver?
