A podcast-style YouTube video (uploaded March 7, 2023 by Josh Trent) presenting a monologue about gender and health. The speaker asserts fundamental biological differences between men and women, criticizes the idea that gender is purely a social construct, and frames health as the body’s ability to adapt and self-manage, urging respect for inherent biological programming.
Chapters
Men and women are fundamentally different. I've made the mistake in trying to be just like a guy and trying to achieve like a guy and trying to do the same things as guys do. So many women beat themselves up about their bodies. We need to have a new chapter, just realize like, our bodies are here to always protect us first and foremost. That's what adaptation is all about. And really what health is about is the ability to adapt and self manage in the face of adversity. But I do think that this whole concept of like, there's no such thing as gender is bullshit. Like we have fundamental biological differences. I'm not saying if you don't want to change your gender, you can't go do that. But this idea that kids should not be raised with gender is absurd. We have totally different responsibilities biologically in terms of what our bodies are here to do. Whether you have kids or not, your body has programming that's primitive, primitive programming. And we need to sort of honor that and not just ignore it.
