A short YouTube demonstration (part 2 of a series) showing Justin Andrews coaching and performing a squat using the Axon tool with help from Josh. The clip covers app setup, placing the Axon unit in an overhead/goblet-like position, producing a target pressure (50 pounds), performing two reps (Justin does the first; Josh the second), holding a low position under tension for about 10 seconds, and commentary that the drill trains the central nervous system and reduces passive movement to improve joint support and movement efficiency.

So, in this video, Justin Andrews is going to take us through the squat movement using the Axon tool.
Okay. So first things first, we're going to go ahead and set us up on the app. So I'm going to go into my workouts, and I'm going to go ahead and get into my fundamental movement patterns, which we're going to demonstrate here today. And I'm gonna pick the squat. So I'm go ahead and press on that, and I'm gonna look and wait and see. This communicates. So now it says squat. I have two reps to accomplish here, so I'm gonna do the first rep, and I'm gonna have Josh perform the second rep. Okay, so the target Here is 50 pounds of pressure.
And I'm gonna go ahead and place this into an overhead position. So this could be in the doorway.
This could be something like this. It's an overhang that's about this height, and I want to keep my arms in real tight and treat it like a goblet squat. So I'm going to go ahead and.
Press here, create tension. And now I want to slowly grind, grind, grind my way down and try and match. And I'm solidifying this position for about 10 seconds, creating a lot of force tension in this position. And then, as you can see, the light is going to return. And the more efficient I am in.
That process, the more I'm training my central nervous system to pattern this sequence.
And you can see here on the readout that he definitely was at the top of the scale. The light was illuminated. It was definitely, like, I would say, strenuous. For you for that phase?
Absolutely.
How much tension were you producing there?
Well, so that's 50 pounds of pressure, but, I mean, you feel that throughout your entire body, your core, your upper body is all. Everything is tense and active in this movement. So what's great about this product is it eliminates a lot of passive movement. So now we're actually supporting our joints even further and training our body to.
