Interview (CES 2018) with Greg and Jody from OSKA Wellness about the Oska Pulse, a wearable device that uses pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF) to reduce inflammation and pain without drugs. The video explains the device's intended cellular mechanism (altering cellular electrical fields to improve circulation of nutrients/waste), presents a user testimonial (Jody: year of use, herniated disc improved from daily pain level ~6–8 to virtually none after six weeks), outlines target markets (chronic pain and athletic recovery), provides availability (oskawellness.com, Amazon, FSA/HSA), and closes with an anecdote about a koala named Oscar whose wounds reportedly healed after three days of treatment.

Josh Trent, Wellness force, live at CES 2018. I'm with Greg and Jody from OSCA Wellness. We're actually standing right next to this koala, which we're going to talk about. But first, let's talk about this device. What is this device? It looks like something from the future, but it actually addresses pain.
So, Josh, this is actually the Oska Pulse, which is our premier product. And we're dealing with pain without drugs. So we use. Our device uses pulsed electric magnetic frequencies to generate a signal to the body that reduces inflammation and pain at a cellular level.
PEMF is not new technology. It's been around for 60 years, actually. 60 years. What exists? What are you holding here? What is that?
Go ahead.
So this is going to show the size of the field that our device emits, which is working at the cellular level to decrease inflammation and pain.
And it's such a cool visual, too, because this is the length at which this device will reach and pain management. It's not oscillating the tissue, it's not heating the tissue. What is it to the tissue?
So go back to your sophomore year biology class. Right. Your cells are electrical fields.
I'm 37. That was a while ago.
Okay. So last week when you were biology, cells are electrical fields. If you increase and decrease the polarity of the field, you can increase circulation in of nutrients and waste out. So the body does that naturally. What this does is helps accelerate that process.
Ah, the acceleration of that. So you've been using the device for how long exactly?
A year.
What have you noticed in a year from this?
My life has completely changed.
How so?
I have a herniated disc in my back. I had been hurting for about a year and a half when I came across the product. So I started using the product, I was pretty desperate. I was trying to avoid surgery and injections. After six weeks of using this device, I went from being in a 6 to 8 pain range almost daily to virtually no pain.
Wow. What is your sport? You're obviously an athlete.
So triathlon and yoga.
Is this for anyone? Is this addressing chronic care? Acute.
Where are we at with that? Yeah. So we came to market with, going after the chronic pain market, which is one in three Americans. That's 117 million Americans.
One, 17 million? Yeah. Wow. Yeah.
So pretty big number. But what we found is a lot of people use it for recovery as well. So you go out and do a workout and you got muscle soreness. Great way to recover. There's no electrodes, no zapping the body. You can feel it. There's nothing on right now and you don't feel anything other than you're going to feel better. Real quick.
Wow, this is fascinating. Where can people learn more about your device, what you're up to? We're going to be studying this a little bit more. I want to review this. Absolutely. Tell the audience where they can learn.
More about it to oskawellness.com that's o s k a wellness.com you can find us on Amazon as Oscar Pulse and you can also find us on Flex Spending account. So FSA store and HSA store the health savings account online.
And also if you're looking for the analytical the research, There is a 6 inch binder here that we can link possibly in the video show notes. So before we say goodbye, tell us quickly about the koala. What's the story with the koala here?
So true story, the original inventors actually.
It'S such a little they actually loaned.
A device to a friend of theirs that works with animals and she had rescued a koala in a bushfire. And three days after using the device, the wounds on the koala had healed. So they asked him what's the name of the koala? His name is Oscar, which in Australian parlance is Oscar. True story.
That is so cool. Well, this has been interesting. We're going to dive more into this in 2018. We're saying goodbye from CES live on the showroom floor. It.
