Detox Masterclass: How to Get Rid of Pain + Feel Alive Again

Transcript of a YouTube interview (Josh Trent interviewing Josh Mason) focused on detoxification—personal recovery story, signs of a compromised detox system (fatigue, loss of purpose, digestive issues, lack of lucidity), physical detox topics (mercury, parasites, binders, colon/liver protocols, water/distillation, liposomal/suppository delivery), and spiritual/energetic topics (noxious entities, shadow work). The conversation also describes the structure and timeline of a practical detox plan and promotes Mason’s online course (Transformational Detoxification Masterclass).

Chapters
Is there like a beginning, 1, 2, 3 symptoms or signs that the detox system is not functioning properly.
If you are not feeling alive, if you are feeling asleep, if you are feeling you don't have access to intuition, to a deep sense of something more than your mind and your thoughts, chances are a detoxification is going to be essential. Digestive issues, waking up and needing caffeine to function. 99% of people, the way they feel, from what I've gathered about society is that it's pretty normal to feel lack of purpose, fatigue, a lot of anxiety, pretty normal to have a deep sense of unrest. Okay. So I would say that that's a sign. When you're in your life force and your jing or your chi is drained, you're going to be more associated with your thoughts. But that's not you. Who are you underneath your narration of life, what are you? Who are you? People have massive gifts that they don't even know about. Spiritual gifts, intuition, unbelievable things that this human body is capable of. But most people are sleeping.
Josh Mason, maybe the best place to start is the Saturn return that we've all been through in the past seven years. And seeing you three years ago when I was like pre pandemic in Kauai and we were doing the ecstatic dance and the very first time I met you, I remember I was sitting in a little hammock with, with Carrie Michelle and you had your shirt off, it was super hot. And the very first essence of you that I got was this guy really cares about his body, his health. Like that was. And that was three years ago plus and now all the way that you've helped people in this master class of detox that we're going to talk about today, man, it's pretty cool.
Thank you.
You've been up to some big stuff in the past three years. Like maybe just to jump off, just tell people how you're of service to the world. I know that changes all the time, but how are you the most service to the world right now? Josh Mason, Detox dudes really the master of detoxification.
I help people cleanse and purify their body and their soul through physical detoxification and shadow work.
Yeah. Okay, that's great.
Yeah.
Because the shadow work elements, interesting. Like Kauai brings out a lot of shadow for people.
Yeah.
And I don't know if you had that experience there of just like stuff coming up to be cleared. And I don't think there's ever been a time in human history, Josh, where we are More, I guess you could say, burdened by the environmental, the emf, the foods, the water, the air. Like, everything essentially is kind of squeezing us in a spiritual, emotional, metaphysical vice. Yeah, I know. I feel that as a father and the extra weight that I'm carrying, the extra energy that I'm putting out in the world and, like, when going to get right to it in this podcast, man. Because why not, like, let's be a service, you know, so let's. Let's pull the E break. And. And people know you. You've worked with, like, Google CEOs. Not Google CEOs, but managing directors, celebrities.
I've worked with tons of celebrities. Yeah.
People that are, like, paying you a significant amount of money to help them detox because they need to perform at the highest level. And coffee and stimulants and all the stuff that people kind of mask or band aid their health with. It can move the needle for a while, but at some point, dude, the wheels fall off the wagon. You were in your 20s, and I remember when we did our Previous podcast in 2020, I was just visualizing you swimming in the ocean. You used to do these swims in the ocean, and you had gone through literally hell for so many years. And 31 plus ayahuasca journeys, six months in the jungle. People look at you today and they're like, wow, he's really healthy. He is the embodiment of health. But if you were to go back in a time machine, that was not the case. Like, and I know you've talked about this a lot, but whatever is present on your heart and mind today that you really think would be important to share with somebody who's walking that path now, maybe somebody with us is in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and they're so burdened by this need for detoxification. Walk us through some of the pivotal points in that story. Maybe starting in the ocean, you know, like, wanting to die, wanting to not be on earth anymore.
Totally. I mean, I'm happy to go into that. The story, I mean, maybe I'll share it in 10 minutes or so. A bit of an abbreviated version, but in person. The story is going to land in a different way. You know, you'll be able to get more out of me.
So I can feel you. You're here in the studio.
I'm here.
But we can all feel you, too.
Yeah. Yeah. So before the age of 23, I was a pretty normal man. Boy, I was a very high performer, but I didn't have any mental issues. I had no mental or physical issues. I mean, little things like my grandfather passing away had caused some despair here and there, but I never had any mental illness. Right. And at the age of 23, this was after winning the Jiu Jitsu World Championship in 2010 as a White belt. I won the Pan American Championship in 2012 as a Blue belt. I won Abu Dhabi Trials as a purple belt. I was up and up. I was on that line to becoming like an elite Jiu Jitsu. I was an elite Jiu jitsu competitor. But even at the black belt level, I truly believe if I kept on going, I would have been right. But I had a different destiny. So October 2013, I got insanely sick. In, like, a two, three week period of time. My consciousness shattered. My voice, the inner narration, basically split off into five, six, seven different voices. I couldn't hear myself anymore. I couldn't. I didn't know who I was.
Like OCD thoughts, like, or. Or actual voices.
Obsessive, incoherent ruminations and thoughts. Literally, like a radio station attuned to 17 different frequencies at once.
Yeah.
Yeah. And so I was desperate. I went into desperation very quickly, and I started by trying to take drugs because I was in so much pain, you know, and I would find some Xanax or smoke weed or whatever I could find to. To mask the pain or drink, and I. I did that for a few months and realized that was going nowhere. So then I took the psychiatric route, and I tried, like, eight, ten different psychiatric drugs for all of the diagnoses that they gave me. Major depression, major anxiety, whatever, whatever. Six months into that, maybe five months into that journey, I flushed all the medications down the toilet. Don't recommend that to anybody. But that's what I did because it was not the right path for me. I was living in. In hell? More like a purgatory. I was numb. I was half dead. You know, I couldn't feel anything. I felt my pain, but I couldn't feel any. Any joy. You know, I was just floating. So after flushing those down the toilet, I learned about Ayahuasca.
Who introduced you to it?
National Geographic. Seriously?
Yeah. Like you opened up a.
Sorry, no. Aubrey Marcus podcast? No, no, actually, I believe it might have been National Geographic article, followed by me researching more and then finding Aubrey Marcus's podcast.
And what year was that?
20. 2014. 2014.
So big. When he first started.
When he first started the whole. Yeah, he was expressing his experiences in a very poetic way. And I was like, wow, you know.
That'S so interesting, man. That was the first year that I ever sat in ceremony.
Wow.
In 2014.
Yeah.
Let's go back to your experience though.
Sure. My first ever ceremony was pure, utter torture. I was supposed to do six ceremonies. I left after one ceremony. I went into a full on panic. I was convinced I was possessed and the space holder could not hold me. He didn't have the skills to hold me. Very few people on the planet could have held the wild monster that I was at that time.
Looking back, was it true with your wisdom.
Now, demon isn't the right word, but there were definitely noxious energies and entities in my system, without a doubt.
Okay.
Yeah. So, yeah, I left after one ceremony and I actually went to a mental hospital. I actually almost brought the airplane down. I was in absolute sheer terror in the back of the plane, screaming in panic. They had to make an announcement on the loudspeaker for a fireman or a nurse, and then they had to make another announcement for a benzodiazepine. I don't think I shared this story many times. I basically was begging for Xanax because I was. The torture I was in was insane. I couldn't be with myself for a second. I felt like I was crawling out of my skin.
Right.
And so eventually some nurse from Colombia gave me a benzodiazepine and I calmed down. I landed in jfk. They did a full body check. They thought I was carrying drugs and. And had like a panic attack for, you know, people who carry drugs, they have like meltdowns while they're on the plane, Right. So they checked my anus, they checked my testicles and all my area. All my areas. And no, I'm. I'm just. Something's going on mentally, you know, that's. I went to go do this crazy thing called ayahuasca and it me up. That's what I told the guy. You know, he's like, you listen to.
The Aubrey Marcus podcast, why you're here?
No, he. He was so cool. He goes, you a wrestler? He saw my colleague flyer. He's like, you're a wrestler? I'm like, yeah, he was, man, take it easy. My son's a wrestler too. Like, there was that Jersey, New York vibe that we had together.
Yeah.
And he let me go pretty easy. I went to the hospital, spent six days in the hospital. In the hospital. I decided I was going to drink ayahuasca again. No matter what. No matter what. I'm drinking it again because I saw what the mental hospital did to people. I saw what the outcome Was, oh, you're here for six months and this is the outcome, not my path. I would rather die, right? I would rather die. Now I'm not saying it doesn't hold a place for certain people, but sure, it wasn't for me. Right. After the hospital, I began changing my diet. I began to realize after just one ceremony that everything I put in this body matters stopped eating like shit, Started changing things, changing, you know, meditating, doing some practices, full time spiritual practice. And I spent months preparing for my second visit. I went to the Amazon a second time for five months and I drank 20 more times. Every single ceremony was pure hell. I never had a positive, I never had a pleasant experience. I never had any sort of joy. I had torture, demons, hell, crazy amounts of purging and panic and anxiety. And my, my mission was 24, seven by breath and self love. Right? So it was just my narration inside for my life was, I love you, Josh. If I was sitting talking to you in the jungle, I would just be, I wouldn't even be listening to you. I would just say, I love you, Josh. I love you, Josh. I love you, Josh. Because anything away from that was suffering, intense suffering, neuroses, chaos and negative loops, you know, destructive loops.
What were your parents and friends and people who loved you thinking or feeling about your experience or they weren't in contact with you for six months?
Nobody knew the extent of what I was going on. The ones in the jungle, some of them did. No one of my family knew the truth of what was going on. I would give them windows of it and they'd see me break down at times, but they didn't understand that this was a 24 like my parents would. How you feeling today, Josh? I'm just like, oh my. A little better. Because they had no idea. It was literally the second I woke up to the second I went to sleep, like a gun being pointed to my head.
It's wild to think that it came on so quickly. You said in two weeks you started to get really sick.
Yeah.
Do you think that your system, like your detoxification system, your nervous system could literally just like not white knuckle and fight it off anymore? Up until that point, did you feel like you were sick at all or no. You were a Pan Am champion, you were a traveling athlete.
I had felt a slight decline in my mental state over some months, but nothing that actually hit me hard. It was all like, it didn't actually wake me up or change my path. It was just like, oh, feeling a little tired. The thing Is. Is there is a body burden point when you get hit with something. It's like you're carrying a weight for so long. God gives you signals all the time, little signals. I wasn't listening. I was too arrogant, too alpha masculine to be present to myself. And so I was just penetrating through and then it collapses. It just collapses. You get the little signs. If you don't listen, you get slapped.
Sure, I've heard. I remember I interviewed Gay Hendricks and he was like, yeah, sometimes the universe will tickle you with a feather, but if you're not listening, the universe will hit you with a sledgehammer. Oh, yeah, yeah. And I'm like, that's some pretty supreme wisdom.
Yeah.
That's written that many books. I'm like, so. So before that, even when you were a Pan Am champion, like, there were moments where you were getting the tickle. You just literally were masculine pushing through it.
Yeah. I mean, huge tickles. More than a tickle slap. I mean, signs, you know, slow down, be present, Stop eating this way. Love yourself. You know, stop training so much. Stretch more if you're going to train this much. Yeah.
You know, it's wild because eventually on the journey and I know there's probably a three hour conversation that you and I could have.
Yeah.
About the intricacy. We'll drop that in the show notes for the podcast, because your story, the full story you wrote, you guys, it's amazing. Like, it's so, like, I read it this morning, actually. At some point, you found out that your mom, when you were in utero, had amalgam fillings. She had mercury.
Yeah. And.
And then. And this is something we've talked about with Dr. David Minkoff and a lot of other people, like what. What happens to the body and where the mercury is stored in the body and how that's sometimes almost impossible for Western medical minds to even find or to even have any awareness of. There was. That was a big turning point. Yes. Like when you started to actually connect the dots of, oh, it actually came from my mother's teeth down into the placenta and maybe even in the breast milk when I was nursing. Like, take us there, because maybe people don't even know about this.
Can I. Can I wrap up the story in 40, 30, 60 seconds?
As much time as you need, man.
I just don't want to leave people hanging.
Yeah.
Long story short, I did another series of ayahuasca after that. Was at my wit's end. Okay. Was completely not wanting to live anymore. Was about to go do Iboga in Africa. And I was going to kill myself in Africa if. If iboga didn't work for me. This is now three and a half years of suffering. I learned about mercury poisoning, okay? And I read a story about mercury poisoning where the woman explained her experience in her body and in her brain. And that was the only book I had ever seen, or the only write up I'd ever seen that resonated with me at the time after hundreds of shamanic books, shamanic initiations, psychological books and self help and gurus and all of that, meditations and adyashanti. And it was. This thing is like, oh, that's a click, right? And so, yeah, I had, I ate a lot of sushi, I ate a lot of tuna. I had mercury fillings. So I was severely toxic with mercury poisoning. That was only one of the pieces of what was causing my suffering. Heavy metals are like a, like a weight on top of something. You know, it's not like they're, they can be the only cause, but most of the time they're exacerbating wounds that are already there. In my case, it made it impossible for me to heal with all of this mercury. And so, yes, I had off the chart mercury levels, ridiculous levels of mercury that I got tested for. The woman next to me in ayahuasca ceremonies was like a mercury detox lady. She, I, she told me some stuff and I thought she was full of shit. I was like, this is the most thing I've ever heard of. I was so arrogant. I was so arrogant, you know, it was just like, because I was, I guess I would just in that alpha masculine paradigm, you know, like, no medals are going to stop me if this is some, this is a shamanic initiation. This is something bigger.
You're even. You're having that narrative in the ceremony.
In the ceremony. Yeah. This is medals. What are medals? You know, ayahuasca will take care of it.
People don't get the ceremony they want, they get the ceremony. Yeah, but you were getting the ceremony you needed.
Yeah, she was right next to me telling me all about it.
Wow.
Sounds like wow.
And it's not to dishonor your story. Like there's so much in there. I mean, you probably wrote a good 15, 20 minutes of, of heart pouring experience. So when you, when you remember her name, Trista. So when Trista opened up your eyes, it was like you could probably connect the dots and go, wow. That was actually creator giving someone to me. Because God, I don't think will ever give somebody more than they can handle, especially when you incorporate their dharmic path or the. Or the spiritual credit card with the karma. They're paying off in lifetime. Some people don't pay it all off in one lifetime. Sometimes some people have to go to a next lifetime to pay it off. But there was something really special about her introducing you to this because that shifted your path. I mean, that really took you many.
Months after that took many months.
What was that like?
I went through another six months of torture after that before I finally decided to get a test. And. Yeah, and I got a test after reading another woman's story about Mercury. That's when I finally. It clicked for me. Yeah. Yeah.
I sat there because I think about how many people would probably not even ever have the insight to go to an ayahuasca ceremony. I think it's funny that we kicked off the podcast talking about ayahuasca, because ayahuasca is not for everyone. I am. I've been interviewed about this, and we've talked about it a lot on the show. Like, I'm not for or against ayahuasca. I think that any medicine is actually perfect for the exact situation that it's meant for. But a lot of people that do medicine, they're doing it to escape something. It's funny because. And I've never really thought about this, even with our last podcast we did, that masculine edge inside of you was like, well, I'll just do 31 ceremony. I'll do as many ceremonies as I can. Some people do plant medicine one time in their life, and they integrate it until they're dead. You know, it's not necessarily like the. The dose that's important. I think it's more the awareness of the participant. So you kept going hard into that. And then I think it's such a paradox that. Was it your 31st journey, or was it you did journeys after?
It was around my 20twentieth or so 22nd. I drank another nine times in isolation in Kantamana, Peru, where I did an apprenticeship with the shamans. And. And I didn't have human contact. And that was when I. That was the most. I don't even know how I would share it with words. It was.
We'll just call it an exploration of the etheric realms.
It was. I was one. I was minutes away from never coming back to this. To. To this reality again.
So you get to this place where you've gone so deep into the dimensions that most people honestly would never go because you were just wanting to live.
Yeah.
Like, you were wanting to survive. You were wanting to move in a different direction where you weren't just burdened and associated with all these maladies anymore and this incredible health issue that you were going through. And at some point, you gave me the process of healing yourself. And that took many years, I'm sure, of healing yourself. I think it's really interesting when people can look at somebody like yourself who's healthy, and they probably would never even think that you went through any health issues at all. So looking back, like, was there a moment where you felt blessed by God? Was it sitting with her? Was it many times throughout the experience? Was there one that. That floats to the top of your consciousness?
There were many blessings. The. The turning point where I felt like I went from a timeline of death to a timeline of life. I might get emotional. I was. I was in my basement, in my mother's basement where I was living, and I was about to go to Africa. Nobody knew that I was about to go to Africa except for my best friend, Eden. I didn't tell my parents I had a flight. I spent $4,000 on a shaman, on a credit card. I was in $60,000 of credit card debt. And I was. I just got my mercury fillings out, but not because I was convinced that I needed to do a mercury detox, because I knew that mercury wasn't good. And I thought that the fillings were going to be morph, the signal of iboga. I was like, I don't want any distractions when I go do iboga for my last chance here on earth. So I'm going to take this filling out, and if mercury is a problem, surely that will address it. And if, if, if. You know, I had read that metal in your mouth can be an antenna, right? So I wasn't in the mindset of detox or understanding that world yet. Um, and so I had taken them out. I came home and I read this woman's story, and I broke down on the ground and I cried and screamed for my mother. And I called my dad on the phone, and I had both of them in the room, My dad on the phone, my mom in the room. And I said, guys, I was about to go to Africa in 36 hours. It is not the right decision for me. I need help. At that point in time, nobody had fucking helped me. No one helped me with money. They didn't support my path. I was on my own. I was grinding, caddying, stealing, doing whatever the fuck I could do. I stole from grocery stores, supplements, whatever I can Do. I was on a mission and no one would. No one. I mean, I had a little help from friends here and there, but nothing. I was, I was, I was grinding, right? And I, I begged them for help, for financial help. And though it was like God just came and like wrapped a blank in me and my dad was like, I got you. My mom was like, we got you. They saw the level of suffering I was in. They saw the helplessness. They saw that I had a story, like something that actually made sense, right? And so that was the moment in time where my life changed from this like, hallucinogenic grind to try and purge my demons. To like, okay, maybe there's something physical going on here. Maybe there's. Maybe there's something. I mean, maybe it's not just a spiritual illness. Like, maybe there's something here that I can put my hands on because it's.
Not like you were overweight.
Like you, I was jacked.
I mean, you were inflamed, but you were healthy looking, right?
Like I had inflammation spurts where I would just get insanely sick, but my body was like shredded because I was just finished years of jiu jitsu. I was fasting for months on end, fasting for 10, 12 days at a time, eating for a few days, fasting for 10 days again. You know, colonics and coffee enemas every day and thousands of dollars of supplements and exercises every day and mantras and singing and chanting and. And fucking everything. Float tanks.
You know what's wild is that if you, if you would have gone at 22, 23 to a typical doctor and, and I like, I don't have health insurance. I have the emergency insurance, which is like a group plan where if you break your leg, you're covered. But I don't, I don use health insurance, nor does anyone in my family, because I really do think it's always up to us. I can't ever outsource my power to someone else. But at that time, if you were 22, 23, and you did go to the western model, which maybe you did.
I did. Of course.
Maybe you did. Like for the pills and the pharmacology and all the testing, if anyone goes there, they're just going to be put into a mill. It almost reminds me of like those old mills where they would churn butter or something like that. Once you get into that, not only are you not going to get the specific care that you need for advanced things like you are going through, but you may actually get exacerbated. You might Be taking pills that would then make your body have more of a load. And then all of that allostatic load is going to make you even more sick. Maybe paint the picture of that for people. Because what you were dealing with, going to Ayahuasca and everything, it could have been subverted. How? Or no, it could not have been.
Say more about that. Like I could have had a different path.
You mean like you could have not done 31 ceremonies? Or was that all part of the plan?
I could have found a very, very high level functional medicine doctor or naturopath sooner. And perhaps they would have shown me the power of detox or given me a different. A mercury test. And I could have had more tangible evidence. I was very stubborn. I was convinced that it was a shamanic journey and a shamanic initiation. I couldn't relate to anyone else. I thought I was on an island by all by myself. And I thought I had to work through this thing all by myself. In truth, if I found someone who had presence who could pull me away from that path, which is eventually what happened actually, besides the mercury thing, there was a man who I met who spiritually pulled me off that path. If I could have met a healer who knew about mercury and had depth in his eyes, who. Who knew suffering, who could sit me down and say, hey, you're walking the wrong way. I would have ch. I would have changed paths. But not by. Not be. Not if a doctor told me. Not if someone who just sat there with a textbook and told me, you know, you need someone who's experienced those portals to tell you you're heading the wrong. Down the wrong path. And you know, on your soul level, when someone's gone through something, you see it, you know, it doesn't matter where the credentials are. So, long story short, I would have needed somebody. I was too. I felt too proud.
Yeah, that's. That's the essence of what I would. Because I don't get a pride energy from you now, nor could you work with top executives if you had it. Yeah, they wouldn't trust you. Like you said, they need to see it in your eyes. And that's why they pay you top dollar, essentially. But also, like, maybe in the past, you needed to get that kind of hammered out of you. Do you feel that way looking back, like creator put you in those situations to push and flush out all of the pride.
Massive humility. Massive, massive. Brought to my knees in every fucking way imaginable. Sucked out like. Ringed out like a wet rag times a hundred, where I Am nothing. I am the dirt. I am the dirt. I am nothing. I am nothing.
Yeah, yeah, I can feel that. Because the way that I see detox and the way that I've always understood detox is that the body has the liver and the body has this system that detoxes itself. But if that system is compromised, one might think that it's working, but it's not. So it's like we have this system in the body. Especially with what you went through and how you teach people, why would we even need to detox if we already.
Have a detox system? Well, I think that the level of toxins that are in our atmosphere are way more than humans have ever dealt with. You know, maybe 50 years ago you could fast your way out of all your health issues, you know, give your digestive system a break. This was the common philosophy, right? You give your digestive system a break and, you know, you do seven day fasts a few times a year. All health maladies are gone. Right. We're dealing with hundreds of thousands of chemicals that are introduced into the environment from corporations. We're dealing with ridiculous levels of heavy metals, glyphosate, all kinds of different parasites and viruses and emf, and we're dealing with just an onslaught of unnatural energy that doesn't, it's not, does not jive with biological harmony. Right. It's not in the same frequency. So to answer your question, the detox process is so complicated that even if you have a good liver, there's still so many other things, you know, the intestines, the lymphatic system and intracellular detox and all of that. And also traumas. If you're traumatized, you're going to accrue a lot more toxins. You know, if you have deep traumas, these toxins are, you're going to store them a lot more than a normal person. So yes, we should be able to detox all of these. But we're in a new era right now. We're in a new, A new time.
Yeah. A time of pollution, massively. But it's not necessarily to like shine a dim light here and be like, there's no hope. That's not what I'm saying. Yeah, I guess most people, they, they don't know that their system is compromised. Like, how would we even begin to know that our system is compromised? It's one thing to have a healthy lifestyle plan and to execute that plan and to sleep and drink clean water and, you know, do the things that nature intended us to do. Like in a natural way. But is there, is there like a beginning, 1, 2, 3 symptoms or signs that the detox system is not functioning properly?
Well, I would say the most, just 99% of people, the way they feel. All right. From what I've gathered about society and our culture is that it's pretty normal to feel lack of purpose, fatigue, a bit depression, you know, a little bit of anxiety or a lot of anxiety. It seems like it's pretty normal to have a deep sense of unrest.
Okay.
So I would say that that's a sign. Right? That's a sign. I do think that, that, you know, this, this. It's not. We're not meant to just have radical peace and joy all the time. I certainly don't have that. I like to live my life on the edge. I like to continually peel the layers of the onion. But if you are not feeling alive, if you are feeling asleep, if you are feeling. You don't have access to intuition, to, to a deep sense of, of something more than your mind and your thoughts, chances are a detoxification is going to be essential. Right.
That was really big. If you don't have access to anything besides your mind and your thoughts, go, go into that a little bit.
Well, people think that they're their thoughts. Most people think that they're their thoughts. Right. I mean, I'm sure you've heard all.
This, especially if you're tired.
Yeah.
Right.
When you're, when you're. Life force and your, your jing or your chi is drained, you're going to, you're going to be more associated with your thoughts. Right. It's harder to come out of that paradigm.
Yeah.
It's. You just get sucked into it, locked into it, like a pattern, you know, but that's not you. Right. Who are you underneath your narration of life? What are you? Who are you? And you know, people have massive gifts that they don't even know about. Massive, massive gifts. Spiritual gifts, you know, intuition, unbelievable things that this human body is capable of. But most people are sleeping.
My buddy on a podcast once, he was like, the graveyard's the richest place in the world. Because when you drive by the graveyard, there's hundreds of billions of dollars of ideas and potential just in the ground, which is totally true.
Yeah.
So. So that's one way that we can start to identify because really, like the, the conversation of detox, there's so many layers, especially with your masterclass that we're going to talk about, like, whoa, there are so many pieces of information that are actually really Necessary to integrate. Not just learn or mentally learn, but like, to actually integrate which, you know, full transparency. Man, this is perfect timing for me. It's perfect timing for all of us, but it's definitely perfect timing for me. Like being a father with another baby on the way. And, you know, when this episode comes out, I'll be in the thick of it again. You know, the baby will be born, and I'll be going through the sleep deprivation and all the different things. So all of us, no matter if we're a parent or not, like, we need to know the warning signs. And so one warning sign is lack of purpose. Like, I'm not who I know that I am. My soul isn't expressing itself into the world. There's more, though. And you talk about this in the program, but, like, what are the other? Maybe just one or two. I know there might be many, but what are one or two more digestive issues?
Fatigue, you know, waking up for feeling like you got hit by a train. Know, that's a common thing that people feel. Waking. Waking up and needing caffeine to function. You know, I haven't had caffeine in seven years. You know, most people are like, what? Yeah, I just don't need it. I would say lucidity.
Right.
Like, we are meant to be lucid. We are meant to be able to just track thoughts and delete thoughts and. And be present with. With what comes through our space. You know, to be present every moment. If you're not feeling that, I mean, detox isn't going to be the only answer, but detox is going to help you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Lucidity is interesting. I haven't explored that term in a while. So if someone has. If someone embodies being lucid, how would you define that? Like, what does that mean to you?
I think it's like a way that they access their thoughts and their voice. You know, can they connect to their authentic self? Can they be true with their. With their expression in a given moment? You know, it's. It's not. It's not a easy thing.
Yeah, right. So lucidity is, like, connected to the tether and the deepest part of yourself. That's never changed.
I think. I think lucidity can just be. You can just be mentally lucid. And, you know, there's a lot of people who are psychologically brilliant and. And have all of these complex theories and whatnot, and that's lucidity as well. But for me, that's not my objective. Like, I. I want to be connected to my body and to my belly and my primal energy. And I want to speak from what's happening on a moment to moment basis, right? Because that to me is health. That's what health is to me.
You have a gravitas to you, like, and I know that everybody can feel it from you. Like when you look at somebody, you're looking in and down, you're not just looking at them. Like you look into somebody's eyes and you look down. And I find that I like to do that too. But you seem to have, when I sense into you, you seem to have a part of yourself where you can see just maybe a little bit deeper into someone else. Because of your journey, because of the capacity, the contrast that's been created inside of yourself, because your journey of pain to living your purpose. Now you're on fucking purpose. You work with some of these amazing huge leaders in the world that are making big decisions that impact the world. So as you cleaned yourself and now you teach world leaders essentially to clean themselves, to detox themselves. That's what actually makes the world a better place. So what is it that's deep down in there that allows you to see in and down instead of just looking at somebody? What is that?
I love that question. I love it. So that's the belly, right? So the belly, right, is like a primal reservoir of energy. And it's what I teach all of my clients and especially in my men's retreats and stuff like that. It's a primal well of energy, okay? Most people have disconnected from their belly. We've made it wrong. Our teachers made it wrong, our parents made it wrong. At some point in time, you were too much for somebody, okay? Your animal was too much for somebody and you developed a relationship with it that it is too big, too scary. Get back in the closet, right? And the thing is that it is such a massive reservoir of energy and creative life force that it, it's part of health, it's part of being authentic, right? Most people, you know, I'm not judging anyone, but a lot of people's consciousness is resting in their heart or in their throat or in their mind. And this, as David Data says, the spine protects the heart, right? If you're always in your heart, you're going to get crushed by this world. You're going to get crushed, right? The belly protects the heart. It's like a. There's no in the belly, right? The belly knows how to very simple consciousness. Fighting, you know, eating, sleeping, right? And, you know, different people are connected to Their bellies, naturally, you know, athletes are going to be connected to their bellies, but. But the art is to consciously connect to your belly. A lot of world class athletes don't even know that they're connected to it. They just do the thing.
Yeah.
You know, when I was doing jiu jitsu, I didn't know what I was tapping into. People would share with me, man, it looks like you're like an animal and you're like connected to intelligence. And I was like, cool, cool. Thanks, man. Yeah. You know.
Yeah.
Really? But. But it was my belly. It was this inner animal inside that. When you learn, as Rudolf Steiner says, to mediate the angel and the animal, to be a mediator between the angel and the animal.
Right.
We think it's all about spiritual high spaces. We're still in this fucking body.
Yeah. We don't.
I don't. You don't.
In Austin. In Austin, it's easy. And in Encinitas and in New York and in a lot of the major metropolitan cities, it's really easy to be like airy fairy. Love and light, you know, good vibes only. All that.
Yeah.
But that's literally just the angel floating away. There's no connection to the beast. There's no instinctual edge.
Yes.
So when people love that part of you and they saw that, it's because that's what was within them, that instinctual part of us, that primal beast. But then we can't just like knock women on the head and drag them to the cave all the time either. You know, there's got to be a Goldilocks zone. Yeah. You mentioned Steiner. So go into that a little bit more because that's a big one for people that might be disconnected to it. That is really kind of burdened by their allostatic load. They're burdened by all the. The things that their body is experiencing and it blunts that intuition or that animal.
Yes.
It's. Maybe it's easier. By the way, I've never thought about this, Josh. Like, maybe it's easier for people to be love and light and angel because they're fluttering up so high. But if they ever had to come back down to the 3D and really connect with their beast, they'd have to deal with all the things that need detoxifying.
Yes. They're avoiding material. You're avoiding all of the material in the belly. It's this massive fucking force. Right. And so the belly does need other people to match it. You know, you can't really be very oftentimes we lose our belly if we're, if we're alone, right? So the belly, like Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, they had this belly matching, and they respected each other. So when you're in the belly, and even in jiu jitsu, when you're fighting someone, you respect them because you're trying to kill them. Right? So there's a belly energy there. So when we avoid all of that material, we lose our authenticity, we lose a critical part of ourselves. We lose our boundaries. The belly is like a, a boundary that just says, don't. Don't fuck with me. I'm sovereign, I'm whole, I'm free. It's like a force field, right, that comes out and protects you. That protection makes you healthier. That protection is, is what allows you to heal. Right? So, yeah, the belly is, is, is life.
And without a connection to that, it can be really easy to potentially bypass what the belly is trying to tell us.
Exactly what do you want? What does the belly want?
What is the beast trying to communicate?
Yes. And, and if there's, there's a spectrum, you go all into the belly, you'll probably go to prison, Right? You look at most people in prison, they're. They're connect, not consciously, but they are connected to their belly and they listen to their belly. That's their voice, that's their inner narration, is the belly. You know, I'm going to kill this person, slap this person, fight this person. Fuck you. You know, that's the force inside, right? Then there's completely ignoring it. Right? But how can we be conscious of the belly's voice and wantings and use that energy and transform that energy and still uplift humanity? Right? How can we use that force to uplift humanity and to be authentic and to still be a force of love?
I think the only way we can do that is to have this center point that fluctuates, but operate more in the center point than in the extremes. In other words, if I'm angelic all the time and I'm just sprinkling fairy dust, I'm not really going to get anything done here in the 3D. But then if I'm also so primal, I could end up in jail in this middle point. You know, spirit gives us these. And you can call it spirit, God, higher intelligence, whatever nomenclature that you want, like the thing that brought us here, the everything and no thing that brought us here, it gives us these signals when we're way out of balance. So being a parent and maybe even speak to a lot of the parents that go through your detox programs and probably, I assume, Josh, most people that you help at the super high levels, they're also parents too, or at least some of them. Yeah. You have children? Absolutely, yeah. There's a specific load. Like when I, when we met in Kauai, I felt really healthy. Like, really, really healthy. And so I'm in the process of my kind of, I guess you could say, understanding of the beast and the angel when it comes to my own health, like the sleep deprivation, the food choices, the. The emotional intelligence that I've had to grow and, and the stuff that I've had to look at in becoming a father is completely. I can't even compare it to when I was single. Like, the loads that I've dealt with and the energetic and even spiritual weight that I'm carrying that manifests as physical weight now. Like, I'm open and honest about it, because why not? And. And when I really point to it, I'm in this learning curve. I'm. I'm trying to figure out myself, what is that space? What is that space for me between the beast who just wants to, like, do all the unhealthy things, or the angel that wants to bypass and pretend like nothing's going on? I'm in the process of figuring that out. How do you begin to. And I know this is part of the detox process, like, yeah, we're going to get into more science in the podcast and, and some of the specific things we can do, but, you know, the emotional quotient here and the, and the big question I'm trying to ask you.
Sure.
Is like, that middle point, it's not always possible. At times, I feel like we, depending on life's responsibilities, we kind of flutter in and out of it. That, that middle point. How do you assess how someone is out of that middle point? And how could you gently guide someone back to that middle point from an emotional inventory standpoint? What's the starting place there?
I think that authenticity is one of the most important things to talk about in this, in this conversation, to do with that question. Most people have a very, very difficult time being authentic, okay? They're being pulled. They're being pulled by wanting to be liked, wanting to be loved, wanting to make money, wanting to connect, wanting to elevate their status, whatever it is that they may be pulled by, and they're not actually listening to a deeper voice inside. Is this a click? Is this connection, this relationship, this job, this person, this client, is it a click? Or am I Trying to be liked? Am I wanting to be loved? Am I wanting money? Am I chasing something? So that daily presence of what's really authentic. You hear people talking all the time, but there's a conversation under the conversation, right? They're talking about something. They're saying something really, all they're really saying is, do you love me? Right. Do you love me? That's the most common thing people say underneath 90% of what they're asking you. Do you like me right now? Do you love me right now? How do you feel about me right now?
Am I worthy?
Right. And so that daily practice of feeling into the body and expressing yourself in a non violent way, you know, I feel this way about you when you talk to me. I feel this, you know, it's not authentic for me to do this. One of the most basic forms of a boundary is if someone asks you, what's your favorite kind of ice cream? Right. And go ahead. Chocolate or vanilla?
Do I only get to pick from.
No, any flavor. Yeah.
I really love pistachio.
Okay, interesting. I like chocolate. That's a boundary. It sounds ridiculous, but it's a boundary. Because we want to be merged with other people. Some people will have a hard time saying their fit. Oh, I love pistachio too. Right. They want to be merged.
Yeah.
Because there's a tension that's created when there's a boundary. There's a tension. And so being present in that tension is the first step to answering what you, what you just did, what you asked.
And that tension actually is healthy and natural and normal.
Absolutely.
And, and I even feel a healthy tension with you right now where, like, you're a soul having your experience in your body with all your things that you've accepted as truth in your projections. Me too. Yeah. Right. And so here we are meeting in that. I actually like that. Exactly.
It's alive.
I prefer that. I'm like, that's living.
Yes.
You know, I, I. Whether you study attachment styles or not, like there is an unhealthy merging that happens in relationships where people kind of give away their dreams and they stop caring about things they used to. And that in itself is an emotional detox that's needed. But it only comes from at the core of my question, Josh. It's like, you know, it only comes from acknowledging and taking some kind of inventory when we're out of balance, when we're out of center. You know, you mentioned Steiner, when we're either way too much beast or way too much angel. Like there's a place in the middle, where I'm sure people come to you when they're either at one side or the other and they come to you. And I even can show up today and be honest. Where I'm at is like, I'm so in the beast mode of like, getting shit done and handling my responsibilities and. And becoming a father. Times to like that. I really haven't explored the angelic realm as much as I probably need to. And I haven't thought about it. I haven't been present to it until our conversation right now. So just your presence here and maybe everyone watching and listening, like the inventory that gets us to the middle, it does come with this honest reflection of how am I truly showing up without bullshit. You know, we hear about that phrase, how am I showing up? But, like, truly, honestly, at the deepest part of yourself, how am I showing up? You know, what is that? And how has that been something that I've ignored for a long time? When you went through your process, I'm sure that you had to go and do an honest reflection. Even outside of ayahuasca journeys, I'm talking like totally sober, going through your process of healing, was there a moment where you really had to course correct to either more angel or more beast?
Always. It's always a process.
The whole time.
Yeah, it's always a process.
Okay.
And it's always a process of really giving the animal space, you know, because it's actually being pressed on by society. It's like we're constantly being constricted because it's. It's. It's. It's intense. It's violence. There's violence in the belly, you know, And. And so it's a daily practice of letting yourself feel the magnitude of what you're. What you feel. You know, if I'm angry at my wife, I feel like destroying the whole house in a part of me. A part of me wants to destroy the whole house, the whole relationship. I want to burn it to the ground. And this ancient force inside of me that can't stand when I'm out of control or when my. When she presses in on. On my weakness or my wound, right? And I just go to this, right? And. And so previously I would shut that down and then comes. Bring some sort of character on top of it. Okay, it's all good. Yep.
Let's keep going.
Right? Like, I'm all good, but in reality, I never really transform that energy. Right. So that is the alchemy, that's the alchemical process, is like letting yourself feel the magnitude of when you hate someone, when you want to slap someone, when you want to punch someone, when you don't want to be around someone. Your nose are powerful, the inner nose, when you can feel the magnitude of how deep they go and you honor them, that's going to separate you out from the conditioning. You know, it's like, oh, this, this. No, it reminds me of what I'm about and what I stand for, you know, and then it separates you out from all of the conditional voices, the I should do this, I should do that. I should be polite, I should be nice, I should be in this relationship because of pros and this reason and that reason. What is your belly want? What does your belly want? My belly is not happy doing the.

Since we're talking about the healthy tension. Yeah. So let me challenge you on that because I've heard about and you and I have heard about and we've explored in this podcast so many times from even neuroscientists, the Gut feeling, the enteric nervous system that dovetails, you know, into a lot of the different aent. Efferent messages that go to the brain and then get plugged into the hypothalamus and the amygdala, literally. Things that are so ancient, they're hardwired. It's like they're not even wi fi. They're wired into us. And one of them is, am I safe? Am I safe in a situation? And if I'm not safe, is it rational fear that I'm safe, or is it irrational fear based on conditioning and trauma that hasn't been looked at? That's a huge part of why people go to foods that make them sick that then they need detox from. You can tell that we're starting at the root of the conversation here. We haven't even gotten into the. We haven't even touched the science or the practicality of your detox program on the physical level, because I wanted to spend a good amount of time talking about the real base that's needed, and that is, am I ready in my heart to heal? Am I ready in my deepest part of my being to admit my mistakes that I've made, my learning lessons to myself, and am I safe enough? This is the question. Am I safe enough to explore that?
Yes.
How do you create a space of safety for yourself, for students to even begin to answer the question honestly, Am I ready to heal?
Totally. House, you know, home and positive relationships around you. That's. Those are the first steps right there. Do you have a home? You can't detox in your car. You can't do it effectively. I tried. Oh, I guess. Who try? It doesn't work. It doesn't know.
Yeah.
You need a home. You need a sanctuary. It can be small, it can be cheap, but if it's your sanctuary, it's your sanctuary. Right. And you need to disconnect from the toxic relationships, the ones that are keeping you down, the ones that. That don't work for this. For this phase.
Yeah.
Right. And then you begin to embark on. On a mission of tending to yourself.
Yeah. That's so important, man. All right, let's go into practical. Like the.
What is a detox?
We really need to understand this because something that in your. In your course and full transparency. Josh, let me go through the program. It's absolutely amazing. Like you said in the first module, you were like, this is the most world class detox program on the planet. And I was like, okay, dude.
Yeah.
Then when I started to go through it, I was like, yeah, he's kind of right. Like, I've never seen the first module going into the distillation process and why distilled water, which we'll talk about, and then the stages and the timeline of detox, which we're also going to go into. But one thing you said that rocked my world is you said that National Geographic did a study, more people have died on planet Earth from parasites than from war.
Yes.
That was like the huge come to reality moment for me where I'm thinking, if parasites can kill people, parasites can make people feel like they're dead even if they're still alive. Let's talk about that. Let's start the conversation of physicality and the physical detox process. Right. To parasites. Because I don't know from your research if you can give a percentage on it, but I've known for quite some time, ever since I got back from Thailand in 2019, that I haven't felt right. And I know their hygienic standards in Thailand aren't the same. And many third world countries, most people, whether they want to look at it or not, they are harboring some kind of fungal infection or parasite.
Yeah.
What are. Let's. Let's start the conversation right there.
Totally.
And this is in regards to the physical portion of the.
Yeah, absolutely.
We've really went into the emotional. We haven't even gone to the spiritual yet. But physically, let's. Let's go there.
Yeah. So when I came out of my illness, I released hundreds of worms, literally hundreds of worms. Some of them look like earthworms from the ground that you see in the soil. Photos are wild photos of them. Right. Clients have photos of them. Like, this is just real stuff. I didn't pick earthworms out of the ground. Right. The comes out of. Out of you. And then there's round worms, rope worms, tapeworms, all different kinds of parasitic worms. There's also parasites that are microscopic. Right. And actually Dr. Klinghardt, who's a guru in this field, says that those are actually even more harmful. So there are parasites that are here to somewhat help serve humanity, just to deal with our toxic load. They kind of eat heavy metals, so they are here as some sort of purpose. But even if they're eating heavy metals, they're still sucking your life force as well.
Right.
So it's not to say that it's like it will be virtually impossible for you to completely rid yourself of parasitic organisms. There's always going to be trillions of organisms in your body that aren't You.
What if I wear a mask, Josh?
Yeah. Good luck. Yeah. Right. So. So these worms, they suck your life force, right? They eat your food. They shit and pee inside of your body, right? And. And they create. They change your chemicals. They change the way you think, they change the way you feel. They change what you want. What you want to eat. Right. And releasing these parasites. It's one of the most awakening experiences you can ever have. Seeing one parasite will change your mind about your body for the rest of your life.
How so?
You cannot believe that it comes out of you. You can't. You. You. Me and many of my clients. I can't say you, but myself and many of my clients realize what's going on in this massive world, this universe inside of our intestines.
Yeah.
Right. And we're thinking about, you know, how to have better thoughts and let me go to another Tony Robbins seminar. What about just this organ? This. This might. This universe here? What's going on in this universe? Right. How can I fix this? Right. That's where it starts.
And in that process, there's probably the most incredible catharsis. In a minute, we're going to talk about the catharsis of bowel movements, which I thought was cool in the program as well. But there's got to be some kind of a. Earlier you said, does this relationship click, or am I clicking? In life, there's probably the most surreal, profound click for people once they actually physically see with their eyes that that organism was inside of them. There's got to be some kind of a. Maybe even a flame of hope that is lit in that moment because somebody's been suffering and they've gone to the Western model. And again, I want to be cautious and not throw shade and shame. Western medicine has a place and a time, but it's abused and it's gone to. Because that's part of a whole broken triad from insurance and Big Food, which we've talked about on shows before. I will say, though, that, like, when people go to the deep down and they actually work with somebody like you and they get proof, like physical, tangible proof that there was something inside of them that was killing them, there's got to be some hope that is lit, that can illuminate their entire life.
Yeah. Yeah. It gives you a trajectory.
It.
It just gives you a path, you know? You know that your darkness is not all yours. That's the thing. The biggest weight is when you think it's your darkness and that it's yours to carry for the rest of your Life. When you start purging it, you realize it's not yours.
How do people even do that? Like, how do you get. How do you know when you have them and how do you get them out of your system? I mean, I know we can't go into the whole masterclass here, but like, what's that process look like?
Well, you can't start there. You can't start there. That's the thing. You have to build a foundation before you start slaying parasites. It's one of the most common mistakes in the holistic health world. It's like, oh, you have parasites, let's destroy them. When they die, they release toxic gases that make you very sick, that also degrade the mucous membrane in the gut. So it gives you leaky gut. If you were to continue killing parasites without healing your gut, you'll get leaky gut, right? You'll have a Herxheimer reaction, you'll go a little cuckoo.
What's a Herxheimer reaction?
It's a detox reaction. When you feel like shit as you're cleansing the body, you feel worse before you feel better.
Right.
And if you don't know how to navigate that and you just keep flooding the body with anti parasitics, you're going to cause cellular damage. You know, you're going to cause damage to your cells, to your mind, to your psyche as well.
What do you have to do before you detox parasites?
Heal the gut, cleanse the colon, like colon cleansing. Heal the intestines. Take binders. Binders are like negatively charged vacuums, substances, charcoals, clays, zeolites, pectins. There's like 10 other ones. And once you do that and you. And this gut is clean and healthy and you have good flora, right? And everything is thriving in there to a certain degree, then you can start attacking the parasites. Cleansing. It's a whole big game. You cleanse the liver, kill the parasites, chelate, heavy metals. It's like so many different pieces of it.
Yeah. That reaction you're talking about, I think is probably happening across the world because there is so much information. I did a quick search online, like Cleanse. And most of them are like liver cleanse, parasite cleanse, cleanse, Cleanse, Cleanse, Cleanse, Cleanse. But the foundational work in your program that, that people have to follow what happens if they don't follow the order of operations.
Let me say one thing about that Cleanse. There is no cleanse that will change your life. There is no Cleanse that will change your life. You have to do so many different things to truly change this vehicle. Like you can't buy a product. There's no one product. I've never found one product that does that, that changed my world.
And if that product claims that it will, it's probably bullshit. I spent.
I spent over a million, well over a million dollars on my health since 23. I mean, I don't. I don't even. At this point.
You haven't even added it up.
I haven't added. You just know I probably could have spent $2 million in my whole journey.
That's unreal.
Okay.
Wow.
Yeah.
That's literally like more than Dave Asprey spent.
No, no, no, no.
Bulletproof coffee journey.
No way.
So what were you going to.
Maybe somewhere between 1 and 2 million.
Okay.
Anyway, somebody healthy will probably not have a huge problem unless they go very deep into like a parasite cleanse or heavy metal chelation. If they go very deep into that world, they will get a Herxheimer reaction. Herxheimer reactions can vary. It's anywhere between like a headache, fatigue, brain fog, feeling a little agitated, some anxiety to the, you know, deep end of the spectrum, feeling like you're crawling out of your skin, you know, feeling like you're going to die and you need to go to the hospital, your heart's palpitating, you know, fight or flight, extreme negative thoughts and emotions, you know, you know, you know, someone were to take a whole bottle of iodine. I don't care how healthy you are, you could be the healthiest person on the planet. You take a whole bottle of iodine. It's. It's a very healthy supplement, but in the wrong dose, you're going to detox like crazy.
What is iodine detox?
Halogens. Yeah.
And what are halogens?
Chlorine, bromide, fluoride. Halogens that are all around in our water, our water supply.
So you don't swim in any chlorine?
Oh, I do, I do, surely. Yeah. But I take iodine all the time.
You have a natural detox process that we can take. Talk about. Okay.
Yeah.
So then at the very first start, it's really about setting a foundation for the parasite cleanse. This is like the many different modules that you have in the program. So the. Yeah, the link is right below if you guys want to get a discount. The code is Josh, which that's both of our names, and it's for $500 off, which I. I truly believe after going through. And I'm not even all the way through the program, I'm going To do this myself, I'm committed to the 1, 2, 3 year process of what it takes. So the link is right below. The code is Josh. So when people start, there's this foundational aspect where they take some kind of an inventory, then they set themselves up for proper detoxification. I know you can't go super deep into it because it would take five hours. But, but what does that look like on a, on a time or a calendar schedule, order of operations?
Totally. So you can embark on like a three month detox journey. That would be the bare minimum amount of time. And in that sort of phase, in that timeline, you would do, you know, about a month of colon cleansing and gut healing. Then you would move into about a month of liver cleansing and then you would move into a month of parasite killing, all the while focusing on remineralizing the body, focusing on a clean diet. Right. In my opinion, a lectin avoidance diet is the best diet. Where we remove nuts, seeds, beans, grains. Okay. And also changing your water. Right. So most people are drinking toxic water. Right. I noticed you have a big Berkey machine. That's great. Spring water, distilled water. You can't drink tap water. Tap water is, is going to pollute you.
If you don't know that by now. Good luck.
Like good luck. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. So, you know, there's many different other things. There's emotional things, there's, there's binders, there are different gut healing supplements. And it's really, really complex. I mean, I'm happy to go into whatever you want me to. Sure.
But just like on a high level. Right. So people know what they're getting into. One of the things that I saw was actually like after the gut healing is then the supplementation. So the binders, the things that actually are absorbing some of the toxins, the charcoals that detox from your body. Just talk about that a little bit.
Sure. Yeah. So there's, there's actually a bunch of things that just came up. So when you clean the colon, it's really, really effective to do a mucoid plaque cleanse where you actually use these minerals, mega dose enzymes to cleanse the intestines of old rotting fecal matter and mucoid plaque. It's this crazy rubbery stuff that comes out from years of eating meat or eating, you know, meat is good, but we eat too much of it and you know, our digestive systems aren't that strong and we are sitting all day and we have a lot of just poor habits that cause a Backup in the intestines.
Yeah.
Right. So then once you do that, you begin to bring in binders. These are very, very porous substances that grab onto toxins. You don't digest them, the body doesn't digest them. They just go through like a vacuum and suck up all of the heavy metals, they suck up different chemicals and they allow your body to release all of this stuff. Binders are unbelievable and life changing. And I've seen people come out of multi year, if not multi decade, depressions and panic disorders, anxiety disorders, nervous system disorders through the use of binders.
Right.
It's, it's miraculous. It changed my life. I came out of hell with just binders and gut healers.
Is psyllium husk considered a binder or no?
No, psyllium husk is expander. It expands in the intestines. So if you're taking it with a binder, it swells in the intestines and then goes on into more difficult crevices of the intestines. So it allows the binders to hit deeper.
Because these, these, I guess you could say health tools, like happy health tools, they go into the gut, they pass through the hcl, which like can, by the way, put a hole in this table. Our stomach acid's so powerful, whatever we eat, whatever we supplement with, it has to be able to make it down into the tight junctions in the gut. It has to pass through the HCL without being completely obliterated. So we have to be very careful about supplementations and probiotics and things like that. It always blows my mind when the supplements and the probiotics are in like the refrigerated section inside of the grocery store. I'm like, what do you think happens in your gut? Yeah, what do you think happens in your gut? You think you're getting all these great probiotics from a refrigerator? It ain't going to work that way in your gut. So what else can we talk about in that first stage before we actually get to the. The parasite portion?
Sure. Well, just on that note, real quick, is that that's why suppositories and liposomal supplements are going to be the best supplements. Most pills are, you know, a lot of pills are ineffective, some are great, but the liposomes and the suppositories, which we can touch on, cross the blood brain barrier. And that's the real magic right there to detox the brain. That's the magic, yeah.
And because they're literally going into the colonial.
Well, when you take a powder, it gets dissolved you know, broken down by the stomach acids. When you take a liposomal formula, which I believe this thing is, I'm not sure what that is. I don't know if we're talking.
Shout out to newtopia.
Yeah. It's. It's basically encapsulated with fat. Okay. It's like vibrated in a machine that merges the molecule of the herb with the fat molecule. So when you take it, it bypasses the stomach acids and is. It starts digestion in the small intestine and then it crosses the blood brain barrier, this magical little flap in the system. Right. That once something can access that point, it can go to your brain. Everything else is not going to your brain.
Yeah, Right.
And then you can take a suppository and it hits the portal vein, go straight into your liver, straight into your blood, straight into your brain. That's another form of. Or an iv.
Right.
IV does a decent job of going to the brain as well. Most things you see in a Costco or a supplement store, first of all, they suck because they're just sitting on shelves for months. Low integrity, low quality. But also it's not liposomal and it's not a suppository. So most of it is just expensive pee.
So liposomal and suppository is primarily the tools of detoxification.
That and binders and gut healers, because a lot of gut healers are not. But you're trying to specifically heal the intestines. So some things can be liposomal, but most of them are not like slippery elm bark or marshmallow or, you know, a few other acacia fiber and things like that. They're not liposomal, but they're still very effective. Then you have juices, you know, you have water. But the best supplements are liposomal and suppository form.
I always wondered that, like when we. When we ingest. When we take in things like healthy foods or even supplements that are liposomal, we take them orally. There's. And I'm sure you've studied this. I've always been curious about this. I never asked Michael Ruscio this. We had him on the show four times. And here's the question. When we eat something and it goes. And it passes through, we go through the peristalsis. It goes into the hcl. In order for it to get through the HCL and not be broken down. You had talked about liposomal. Is there any other forms of nutrition or of supplementation that we can take in that will pass through and go down into the tight junctions of the gut to start that healing process.
Besides the liposomal transdermal, you can put stuff on your skin. It goes right into your blood and your brain as well. Subcutaneous, you know, injections. That does a decent job. But. But some pills are good. You know, I take tons of pills that aren't liposomal in suppository form, but as a general rule, they're going to be less effective.
Okay.
And less noticeable.
Sure.
Yeah.
All right, let's talk about the water. Because I was having conversations with Kerry Michelle about this and I was like, okay, Josh says that we need distilled water because it's literally only. The only process that's going to kill the water. All the, all the bad things in the water. And then her question was, and I'm sure you get this all the time, what about the minerals? Yeah, what about the minerals in the water?
Totally.
Talk about distillation. Why is that the primary way that you guide people for water? And then what do you say when they tell you what about the trace minerals, Josh?
So I actually teach people to use half spring and half distilled water. Spring water is very hard to come by. Right. You have to have a spring locally, true spring, like mountain valley spring. Right. Or you have to get delivery. It's a pain in the ass and it's expensive. If you have a local spring, it's awesome. Right. I had a local spring near me in Oregon back in the day and that was a game changer.
One in San Diego.
Not. No, I have not found one.
You do the. Find a spring, find a spring dot com.
Right. Spring water is amazing because it's loaded with life force, with chi, with minerals of the earth. It's extremely filtered from the earth. I'm sure you've talked about it before. Distilled water is excellent because it is negatively charged. So it's, it's hungry water and it grabs onto toxins. Okay. It's also pure H2O. If you have a good stainless steel distiller, you don't have any chemicals. There's no chemicals. All of it is gone. The glyphosate, the, the 80 different chemicals that are found in tap water or even reverse osmosis water in trace amounts. It's all out. Right. And so distilled water is very purifying, very cleansing. And you add minerals into the distilled water. That's what I always do. I always add minerals in, trace minerals or salts. There's tons of different mineral companies out there. And that's, that's How I get the best of both worlds. Okay, right. Because you want to bring a little bit of life into distilled water because it's a dead water, right? So you bring a little bit of life. Put some lemon, apple cider vinegar, salt, you can, there's machines that sort of turn it, you know, twist it. But there is no like one water that solves all. Okay. I think spring water, distilled water. And actually a new water I was just introduced to a very, very high silica content water that I'll be talking more about in the near future.
What's that going called?
It's called a Queen Springs.
A Queen.
A Queen Springs.
Okay. Okay.
Yeah. And you can use my code if you want a discount there. That's cool. Yeah, your code, you get a code there?
No, that's great. Okay, so starting with the foundation, like our, the percentage, I think we're 80 to 90% water like as a being and water is in everything. I'm sure you could probably even squeeze water out of this table if you really compressed it hard enough. Like everything around us has some form of hydration, like carbohydrate or, or even just regular matter. The water that we take in the voice box that I have, like before we record it, you said something really fascinating. You said, when I hear someone speak, yeah. I can hear where their voice is coming from. If it's coming from their mind, if it's coming from their belly, if it's coming from their heart. Like how do you decipher that? And can drinking pure, clean, hydrating water without any chemicals or toxins, can that change someone's voice over time? Can that change where their voice comes from? Or is that not related at all?
I don't, I think it would be very lightly related. Like I can't really correlate those two things. What I could say is that drinking clean water will decalcify this pineal gland. You know, detox distilled water, clean, clean living will decalcify this pineal gland and awaken something inside of you. And when you awaken, you're going to make better choices. You're going to be more alive. You're going to want truth in your life. Right. So distilled water will help awaken you to more. Right. And more being. Spiritual realms, emotional realms, where are you lying to yourself? Where are you out of integrity? But I wouldn't say that drinking distilled water is going to deepen someone's like spiritual connection to themselves by default. Okay. Okay.
So it's more just. It's a nourishing base for everything else that comes after it.
Yeah, yeah. I, I think that there's, there's physical things, like all the stuff that we talk about, and then there's energetic work and they help each other, but they're actually, they're two different conversations. Right. And so where someone's voice is plugged into is going to be essentially, you know, where have. What unresolved traumas do they have? What are they connected to inside of themselves? What forces do they know? Do they know their belly? Do they know their heart? You know, a lot of people just know their minds and that's okay.
You know, when people start to go into the program and, and the name of the program, by the way, what is the actual name of the program?
It's called transformational detoxification masterclass 2023. Because I had a 2019 version. This is a new version. And so this is the 2.0 mega 2.5.0. This is everything. This is like I've ever learned. It's. It's my life's work.
It really is, man. And, and so on the COVID of it, you have a dragonfly.
Yeah.
What's the symbology with the dragonfly transformation? Sure about that?
I don't think it's too deep of like a connection. I just had a really good graphic designer who, who made it for me. But I did see a lot of dragonflies in the Amazon jungle guiding me.
I knew it.
Yeah.
I, I was like, I wonder if this is associated with his ceremony work. Okay. Yeah. So that was it.
It was. Yeah. Dragonflies were. Would come to me at, at the most difficult, difficult times. When I was in the jungle, thinking I was going to die, they would walk me to my tombo. So the dragonflies would actually take a walk with me and guide me to my home, which was a, you know, 10 minute walk.
Yeah.
And this one or two family of them would literally take me. And it was magical.
There's so many things in this world that just cannot be explained by logical, rational thought. And I feel them all the time. Like, do you. I don't know if you and your wife ever want children. We do. Okay. So when you have them, you will feel this tenfold, because I do. The very first time I held my son, I went through a portal, Josh. Like, I. I went through something where I was something here and one, one second and in the very next second when I first saw him, when and I got to touch him and hold him, I. I became a Dragonfly. I transformed into something that I didn't even know, that I didn't know was possible. Like, there's something so magical that happens there, and that's actually the port of life and death itself. You know, we've. We've had Zach Bush on the show, and he said, we've taken birth out of the home. We've taken death out of the home. And I believe that. I think that we have really blunted not just the animal and the angel corollary, but also the death and the birth corollary. And I think about the ways that he has taught me so much, about the things that I cannot see, the things that even if I tried to explain them to you, you have to just have the experience of going through them and of being a father or being a mother to actually know what I'm talking about, the essence of what I'm talking about. The reason I'm saying that is because that's the setup for the question that I want to close our podcast with. And. And that question is in your program, you go into such depth about the physical and also the emotional, and the spiritual is in there, too. And I love that because I've been studying for my life the. The mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial ways. I call it the wellness Pentagon, that we all either nourish ourselves or we starve ourselves. And so I'm in this constant process of how do I show up in all of those five areas? And because if I don't fill one up, then it's going to pull from another. A lot of people that are broke, they may be healthy, but some people that aren't healthy, they have a bunch of money. I think there's a middle ground in that. One thing you have gone through on a spiritual level and you talk about in the program is entities and energies. It's the things that we cannot see, but we can only feel them once they're in us or once we're attuned to them vibrationally. In other words, entities only can live where they have space to live. When I got my entity down in Costa Rica, I'm sure when you got your entity, it eventually turned into a beautiful blessing. A super beautiful blessing. If you'd have told me five years ago the entities were real, I'd have said, go fuck yourself. There's no way. So let's end the podcast here on some of the things that we cannot see. Yeah. That we really, truly need to detoxify from. On a spiritual level. Let's. Let's start the conversation there, I had.
Many noxious energies, entities, parasitic entities that were in my field, on my. In my etheric, during my journey. And let me just start by saying I'm definitely not an expert in the entity world. I know experts I've trained, studied with them, not to become one myself, but to heal myself. Dr. Samuel Sagan from the Claire Vision School is one of the most profound teachers I've ever found in my entire life. I would say the most profound teacher I've ever found in my entire life. And he was a medical doctor. And then he began studying the, you know, the other realms and began going deep into the third eye and deep into meditative spaces. I don't know him personally. He. He's passed away now, but his books and his teachings. So, long story short, there are noxious energies that can come in during trauma. You know, when we're very young, our etheric is wide open. These perverse energies can come in. You know, if we're traumatized, raped, beaten for, blacked out on drugs, blacked out on alcohol. There's a collapse in the etheric. It's our natural protection mechanism, but it collapses, you know, and when that happens, there are. There are energies that come in. They. They're like energetic worms, mosquitoes. They're not evil per se. Some of them can be, but they're just like programs, right? They just have a program of sucking your energy, keeping you weak, feeding you thoughts. They don't. It's not necessarily like a demon, like exorcism that we see in the movies, though I have seen stuff like that as well most of the time. They are noxious, parasitic entities inside the etheric field. They latch into a wound or a samskara, and they feed you negative thoughts and convince you of things for the rest of your life. And when you die, they shatter. And there's parts of the astral body that fracture. And then they can get passed on to the next person, the next victim, the next host. Whether it be someone who's blacked out drunk or a baby in the house who's very, very vulnerable. Vulnerable, right. That's why it's not great to, like, be in houses where people have died because they're. Unless you know how to clear the space effectively. But anyway, point is that there is the unseen realm. And things come in and they can make you sick. And you can't detox those with supplements. You can't detox those with, you know, clean water. You can't detox them with sage or Palo Santo or good Thoughts.
Yeah.
These are things that are deeply embedded in the etheric. They know how to trick. It knows how to trick you. You know, it knows. It knows your. It knows your portals and pathways. Right? So you need help. You know, we need help clearing these things. And there's clearers all over the world, different traditions and shamans who have different techniques. You know, I've gone through so many different techniques, and what I will say is, when you find someone who knows what they're doing, it's like being seen for the first time in your whole life. Because, you know, I used to have this foreign consciousness, this dark narration next to my. Next to me all the time. All the time. You know, you're weak, you're stupid, you're dumb. And we all have an inner voice that is a critic as well. But this was another level. Yeah, this was another level of a critic. And when I was seen in that for the first time by a healer, I was like, oh, my God, I'm not this dark. I'm not this thing. It was actually here on my. In my belly. But it connects to the thoughts, of course. So, yeah, noxious energies are a big part of health, a big part of sovereignty. A lot of people are with their entities for the rest of their life and think that that's them, and they.
Just simply don't know.
They don't know. They don't know. Sometimes they don't care. Sometimes they want. Sometimes they like their entities.
Huh. Entities can drive human behavior. I remember I was sitting here with Dave Asprey, and we were both talking about the. I think it was National Geographic, actually. The. The ant that gets the cordyceps mushrooms, and it's the zombie ant that then directs the ant to go to the part of the tree where the sun is shining on it so the cordyceps can propagate. I'm like, oh, my God. Like this ancient bacteria. So whether it's a physical channel where the entity can come in or a psychic channel, for me. And I've already told this story, which we'll link down in the show notes. But I opened myself up because I drank way too much ayahuasca in a space that wasn't being held properly. But honestly, at the end of the story, it was for my good. What I wish. The pain that I went through and the two years of OCD that I went through and the thoughts that just honestly took me to my knees at the very starting of my intimate relationship with the mother of my child. No, I would not wish that on anyone else. But. But at the end of it, I really was able to look. Look at the part of myself that I was ignoring, and that was the addiction to pornography, the things that I hadn't forgiven myself for, the anger and resentment towards my father, the complete disapproval of a mother who was sick, and all of these things that I had to, like, throw up, and I threw them up in a bucket. Yeah. But in the process of me going through all of that removal, I had to experience all the micro and macro traumas that I had in. Looked at for two decades. And in the process of me spiritually detoxing and physically throwing up, I was going through a lot of the scenes from porn that I had seen, a lot of the feelings that I had felt about my mother and father and people that had bullied me in school, and I had to actually purge that for real. But in the process of me doing that, the space wasn't being held correctly, and it's not a judgment towards that space. I wish them well. It's really just like, don't allow yourself to call yourself a healing center or don't allow yourself to call yourself a shaman unless you hold yourself responsible for every single person that is in that ceremony. You're not allowed to call yourself a shaman or a healing center unless you take full responsibility for all participants. And Hamilton Souther can back this up because we talked about this in length with him. So my question for you is, as people are spiritually detoxing, they're emotionally detoxing, they're physically detoxing. Maybe they're even detoxing past lifetimes. If you look at generational trauma and Mark Wolin, there's a lot here. Josh, we scratched the surface, man, on the podcast. As. As we're going through the purging of all this stuff, how do we do it mindfully so that we don't hurt ourselves in the detox and in the purification process?
Totally. Totally. I have a lot to say about Iowa, about ayahuasca, but I don't know if we're.
We got time. Go. Let's go.
I just want to say ayahuasca is that there's more and more of that popping up, is people who don't know how to hold space properly and who are serving, you know, this ancient medicine, and it's becoming a Westernized thing.
Right.
It's losing its magic, and it's. It's. It's purity. Right. So for me, I don't think. I think hallucinogens are a tool, but I Am not a. I don't tell any of my clients to do hallucinogens, right? Like, it's not like I say don't do them, but I don't have it in the protocol. It's never a protocol for someone, no matter how much they're suffering. My advice is never going to be go do ayahuasca.
Right.
For some people, it's going to be a key. It's going to unlock something for them. But for most part, it's been tainted with Western greed. The spaces have been tainted with greed and with all of our Western, like, American consumerism, spaces, unconscious capitalism. Yeah.
We've.
We've corrupted the space of ayahuasca. So when you drink that ayahuasca and you plug into that astral realm, you're also plugging into all of that toxicity that we've created in it. It's not its purest form anymore. Right. So plus the work that we're talking about now is work that you do with your own will. If you can do work with your own will, you create something that you take with you at death. Okay. If you take ayahuasca, it's, It's. It's a drug. You're changing your state. There's no will involved. You're not forging anything in your energy. You're not meditating, doing Wim Hof, doing any sort of practice qigong. You're literally just going like this and waiting for it to happen.
It could be an outsourcing of power and agency.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
Absolutely. Right. So. So, yes, it can be good. But for the most part, the things that have changed my life are things that my will has to be forged, the things that I don't want to do. Right. When I wake up and I go on my cold plunge every morning, I don't want to go in any of the days, but I do it and I forge something in my energy. I meditate every day, forging, forging, forging, creating that pipeline to God through my will. No one can take it away. When you create that pipeline to God from a drug, from a substance, it's gone the next day. Where was it? How do I get back there? Right? How do I get back there? Who can take me there? What do I need to get there? Right. So that's what I really believe, is that the magic comes with you when you engage your own will. Nothing is free here in this. In this world. Nothing.
That's so good.
Yeah.
Yeah. I really appreciate your. Your insight there.
Yeah. So as part of Question. Yeah, go ahead.
As parting guidance. Yeah. Like, you know, we've talked about all these different aspects of self.
Yeah.
The financial piece is something that I know you and I have both talked about in the past. I believe, and I'm curious how you believe, because we've really hit on the mental, physical, emotional, spiritual. We've really gone deep today. We covered a lot of ground, which is necessary because most detox podcasts, this is the first time we've ever really implemented the spiritual and the emotional into the detox. I think that's super important. But another way that we show up in this world, otherwise we wouldn't be here, is this agreement for money, like finance, as people detoxify. Have you seen your clients? Because this is a really big take home. If somebody's going to invest in the program, they're going to need to see a result and actually their behavior is going to have to produce different financial results for them too. Can you take this practical of like maybe a person or a leader of a world class business or somebody in Silicon Valley where because of their detox there was a specific byproduct of their healing which allowed them to show up more financially abundant in the world?
Oh my goodness. I mean, everybody, everyone who goes deep into detox makes more money. It's like a fact. Because money is just an energy. It's like a game. It's like a video game, right? And when we're stuck in our shit, we don't have access to really playing the video game effectively. We think it's really hard. There's all these emotions in the way, all of these traumas. But when we see that money is literally everywhere, when we remove all this emotional baggage and we realize that there is money everywhere, you know, you bust loose from the money game, right? When you detox, you go from a place of feeling like you have to practice this as well. You can't just detox, but you have to practice the art of busting loose from the money game, right? Or rather real rich versus fake rich, okay? Fake rich. You can have as much money in the world as you want, but fake rich people constantly think that money is, is like a stream about to be cut off at any moment, a faucet about to be turned off, right? They're saving, budgeting, preserving, trying to hold on to it, right? They are, you know, money is their goal. Money is their goal. And they sacrifice today for tomorrow. They're not present today. Today doesn't exist because they're trying to get more widgets for Tomorrow. So let me just sacrifice everything today. I don't need a relationship, I don't need my health. I don't need to take care of myself. I'm going to make more money. Right. Real rich, which you can access when you feel good. Okay. Is that. Money is a flow of a river. It's always ever present. Okay. Money is not the objective. It's an energy that you get to use with joy. You spend money with joy. Real rich people know that their emotional state pulls in more wealth when you spend money. One thing I like to say is every time I spend a big money. Right. May this money stimulate the economy. Bless everyone who it touches and return to me multiplied.
Right.
And then I. I thank God that I can spend this amount on rent. I can't believe I get to spend this amount on rent. So, long story short, Detox helps you feel rich. And when you feel rich, it's more important than being rich. Feeling good and feeling rich is more important than being rich.
Right.
And so I have seen all of the executives I've worked with magnify their businesses. I mean, big, big name people. I don't know if I need to say it on the show, but I. You can look at my website. I. Multi, you know, billionaires. Multi, Multi, you know, nine. Whatever. Hundreds and millions of dollars of people. Whatever.
The.
Somehow when people have money, people, you know, they respect them more. So that's why I say it.
Sure.
But in truth, they're no different than any normal client that I have. Right.
And they also have specific demands that maybe people could never understand unless they were at that level.
Yes.
Which is part of product for Detox.
Yes. Of productivity and mental sharpness. You know, it's the amount of time that they have to spend. Right. So, yeah. There's YouTube videos of people talking about this work of big CEOs, and, and, and it's. It's a life changing work.
It's exciting that you got to create a life that you. It's written all over you.
Tell me more about that.
Like you love. You love what you do.
I do.
You love it.
Yeah.
I mean, I can see it in your program. I can feel it from you. You love what you do. It's like, I love conversation because we fumble, we connect, we click, we explode, we come back down. True conversation is messy.
Yeah.
True. Podcasting isn't perfect. Like, we're not editing any of this. It's all in there.
Yeah.
And. And I think that that's really important with life is as we stumble and fumble and, like, get bloody and scraped and then moments where we are, you know, almost perfect, and just to take it all in, swallow it, digest it, and be like, wow, I'm so grateful that we got to do this thing. I'm so grateful that we actually got to just. I mean, I'm getting emotional just thinking about, like, that we. We get to be fathers, that we get to be wives, that we get to be husbands and mothers and grandparents. Like, it's all part of this massive unfolding that I'm so fucking grateful for. I will say that I did have a vision when I was in Ceremony, and it was you and I written on a page, man. Josh Mason, Josh Trent, and all my family and all your fan. We were on one little page on a book that spanned infinite back and infinite forward, and I was able to feel it and see it, and I was so grateful that I at least got to be this little writing on a page, like, just how. How grateful I was for just that. And I think if we can just take that into our journey of detoxification, or, you know, even my journey right now, where I'm stepping into this detoxification, I'm stepping into what is the truth in my life. And it gets so hard at times where we can feel like we're alone or that nobody else in the world feels like. I feel I'm the most miserable person in the world, and it ain't true. It's not true. So. So to close the podcast, how do you define wellness? Your journey of, like, ultimate, savage heartbreak for the physical. Physical issues you were dealing with and having to put away the athletic career and going through multiple relationships, now being married, like, what a wild ride you've had.
Yeah.
And so from. From everything you've learned and from all the clients that you help, how do you define wellness? What does it mean to live your life?
Well, I don't have a rehearsed answer, so this may not be my ultimate truth.
Right.
Okay. It's my truth right now. Right?
Yeah.
I think that being on one's edge is one of the most vital, amazing pieces of wellness imaginable. I think that people look for comfort. They try and make enough money so they can be comfortable. But what I've learned about, I can just speak for the masculine is that a lion is in its prime when tomorrow is uncertain.
Right.
A lion has no idea where the next meal is coming. And it has to battle the elements. It has to battle all of this crazy shit. And it is in its best form because tomorrow is uncertain. You take that same line, put it in a zoo. Miserable, miserable disease.
Yeah.
Humans love the edge. We love it. It makes us feel alive. It makes us feel healthy. It makes us feel vital. When we lose the edge, we lose our health. Right. So what is your edge? And surf it. That's what I teach all of my clients, to be on the edge. I don't want to ever lose my edge. I lose it sometimes. I really do. I lost it for months last year. I was. I was down. I was down, right. And then I found it again. I found my edge. And it's always about balancing all of these things that we talk about. What's your edge? So for me, wellness is the edge. Wellness is vitality. Wellness is authenticity. Wellness is knowing who you are, knowing what to speak, how to speak it, who to have in your life, being deeply connected to your intuition. And wellness is pain. Wellness is pain. I don't know any true spiritual badass that doesn't suffer on a regular basis. Right. You may see their Instagram and may think they don't suffer, but when you get to know them, I've gotten to know these multi mega people, influencers. They're suffering. There's a part of them that's a mess. Yeah, me too. I'm a mess somewhere, right?
Yeah.
And so. So my answer is wellness is. Is the ability to be vulnerable in that, to be real, to let it all out, you know, to honor it, to own it, to be present. I'll say the most important word of all these words I just said is, is presence. If you're present, you're well. And it's so rare to find presence. People aren't cultivating it. People are getting sucked into the digital world. We're losing it. We're losing a core part of our humanity in this. In this astral digital realm that's pulling us away from soul and presence. So what I would say is that presence is wellness. You cultivate presence and your illness will melt away.
That's beautiful, man.
Yeah, that's beautiful. Yeah.
And it's beautiful because in the present, we are always getting how we started this podcast, the tickles of what is needed. If I'm really present with you, and I'm really present with my children and with my partner and with my life and with my business. Instead of getting the sledgehammers, I'm gonna get those little soft, intuitive messages and I'm gonna have the capacity to listen, which is amazing, dude.
Yes.
Awesome conversation. And thank you so much for the discount. Like, that's Really? I know how challenging it is to pull together 20 plus years of research of, like, wow, how do we truly detox? You will not find this information. You won't find this on the Internet. I'm telling you straight up, like, it's not there. And if it is there, you're just going to get little pieces of it. Never have I seen a program where everything you need and actually the. The how tos, the systemization, the recommendations. You've done a fricking magical job. And I, I'm. I created a program for breathwork. So, like, I know how challenging it is to encapsulate all your wisdom and knowledge. So thank you for that. Again, the code is Josh and it's 500 bucks off the program, so that is awesome, man. And the link is joshtrend.com forward/detox. So we covered a lot of ground. Yes, thank you from my heart to yours and for everyone here spending time with us. So until Josh and I see you again, we're both wishing you love and wellness. We'll talk to you soon.
Thank you, guys.
