What's up? Happy Spring. It's April 1, but not the fools day before. So this isn't a joke, this is totally serious. And yes, this is going to be fun.
Be sure that the envelope says Cool name. You can give your youngsters a lot of pleasure with Kool Aid. You know, it's pure and good. It has the parents magazine seal and it's so thrifty. A five cent package makes two full quarts.
I wanted to talk a little bit this month about not just food, but stress reduction. We had two amazing bloggers this month on the wellness sports website write about stress reduction and outdoor exercise and things to actually get rid of the stresses in your body, but without spending a bunch of money. So these are things that you can really do for less than 10 cents. Just occupies your time. And check them out, they're right down below. Just click on the link. One of the bloggers I've worked with at the Sporting Club in La Jolla, her name is Elisa Tomer and she is a certified personal trainer. Great girl. She has a blog, actually. It's called thewellnessdoer.com Interesting site. You should check that out. Baritistic photos. The second girl is Ann Taylor Lashbrook. She comes to us from Georgia. Recently relocating to Los Angeles, she's been in fitness as a health educator for many, many years. So check out her post as well. The blog talks a lot about stress reduction, not only with alternative forms of exercise, but more just getting deep breaths when you don't really necessarily have the time. Stress, it's inevitable. But how are you going to deal with it? And we've seen these people. These are the people at the gym that go like this. Yeah, bro, I just got like five more reps and then I'm gonna drink my other half of my red line. But yeah, it's great. It's killer workout. Tries and bys, Tries and bys. That's because we were meant to play, baby. Play. What up? It's spring Random. So a big part of your parasympathetic nervous system is your functions that happen without you really being aware of them. Digestion, assimilation, detoxification, things like this. These things can get suppressed through too much sympathetic activation. Sympathetic is your fight or flight branch. I'm sure you've heard this before. If you're running from a lion, all the blood is shunned into your muscles and out of your internal organs so you can escape that predator. So what happens all day long when you're in a predator elapsed state is that you're constantly running around, you're drinking coffee and self medicating yourself. You're not de stressing, you're not activating that parasympathetic nervous system and now you're in a state of stress. So the only possible thing you could do to feel better isn't more exercise, isn't healthier foods, isn't doing a 10 hour meditation session in a hot box. It's doing things that make you feel good that maybe don't cost a bunch of money. Five minutes in a park calling up someone who gives you energy instead of takes your energy away. These things can really help you. So hopefully this month, it's the first month of spring. Make it your best month. I will see you in San Diego. I'm out of here in Mammoth. Have an awesome month and I will talk to you soon. There you go. Come on, Krista. Come on, baby. High knees, high knees. Get that. It.
