A short YouTube interview (Josh Trent with a clinician) about natural sinus care. The clinician identifies dairy as a common culprit for thick mucus/phlegm and throat clearing, recommends avoiding allergic/non-allergic triggers and maintaining a clean environment, endorses saline nasal rinses to liquefy and mobilize mucus, and describes Sinusonic as a natural, air-based breathing treatment using acoustic energy that avoids squirting solutions into the nose.

From a medical perspective, if we just follow the laws of nature and do maybe the top three to five things that are the most natural, the most healthy for the care of the sinuses, what would those be?
There's no question that dairy is probably the number one culprit, at least in my experience. Dairy is probably the number one thing I hear about thick mucus, thick phlegm, throat clearing, those types of things. But I've had patients, probably just about every diet that's out there who swear by it. So if you can avoid environments that are going to cause allergic or non allergic triggers, then do that. Stay in a healthy, clean environment. Rinsing your nose out with saline is something super easy. You know, you're just kind of flushing things out. Most of the mucus in our nose is kind of saline anyway. And so you're just really kind of liquefying things and mobilizing it to get it out. And that's another reason that I'm attracted to sinusonic, and I think a lot of my patients really love it, is because, first of all, you don't have to squirt anything up your nose. It's all natural. It's just air. It's a breathing exercise, a breathing treatment with acoustic energy.
