A short YouTube podcast clip (creator: Josh Trent) arguing that healing generational trauma—especially the father wound—is foundational for human evolution. The speaker emphasizes ancestral/epigenetic transmission of trauma (wars, genocides, famines) and calls for addressing root causes and adopting a correct ontological orientation to support collective healing and evolution.

The starting place seems like that it starts with healing the mother and father wound. The father wound is something we must reconcile with first, especially as men. If there's anything that needs to be cleared, you know, even if the mother might seem like more glaring in her misalignment, whatever. It's important to go to the father first because that's our, you know, masculine model. And I know you talk about this a lot, the epigenetic, or ancestral component to it. Right. Passed on generation after generation after generation. It really is cross. Generational. We're coming in with so much ancestral trauma. Yeah, so much trauma. Think about. We've been through genocides, wars, collapses, famines. It's through human history. It's. It's a. It's atrocious. But that's where we are. We live on a very immature and evolutionarily primitive planet. In some ways, we're still murdering each other, killing each other, raping each other, exploiting each other as if we're separate. It's madness. It's important that we get to the roots of where we're coming from and to find, like, a correct ontological orientation that can support our evolution.
