It's letting go of what's no longer serving you. And so when I was in California, I was trying to make it work in a relationship, in a job, and in a place that was not serving me in any way and had taught me a ton of very valuable lessons, but was keeping me away from what I knew I was supposed to do. I came back to Austin in 2016 for a week for my birthday, and I had this aha moment and realized I had decided that I was happy enough in California. I was happy enough. I wasn't actually happy, but I convinced myself that happy enough was an okay place to live in. And I came back, and I was filled up with joy because of the place that I am in, because of the people, because of the energy in the city that I love. And I went back, and within nine days, I broke up with my fiance. I quit my job, and I packed a van, and I moved back to Texas. And that was the hard thing. I mean, the hard thing is letting go for me, or always has been letting go and, like, relinquishing control and really trusting that the universe will be there at your back if you're in alignment with what you really are put on this planet to do.
