Short YouTube/podcast clip (speaker: Josh Trent) asserting that NAD is a critical molecule for powering the human brain. The speaker emphasizes the brain’s complexity and energy demands and claims NAD is essential for transferring energy from mitochondria to cells, supporting focus, memory, and daily cognitive function.

NAD is something that is probably the most critical element within powering the brain. On your shoulders rests the most complicated object in the known universe, right? That is your brain. The human brain is insanely complex and it's insanely important, right? It's what makes us human in the first place. To give it the proper energy levels that it needs to focus, concentrate, do all of the things it does within a day, let us breathe. We don't even know about half of it right now happening without us doing anything, but it's taking up energy. So you absolutely need to power the brain. If you really look at it from that standpoint of what do you need to have a productive day, to have a day where you do not lack energy, mental clarity, acuity, short term memory, all these things that so many people are facing right now, then that's nad. Every single cell needs is basically what you're doing to transfer energy into the cell from the mitochondria and get each cell to work properly.
