At about 3 o', clock, I find that my energy dips. And I think most people have an energy dip just because of circadian rhythm and because of our sleep wake cycles. What is it about the ketones specifically that bring people tbi, or addiction based to homeostasis?
Ketones are basically derivative of fat that your body naturally produces when it's in a starvation mode. If you can have a drinkable ketone, you skip that conversion step. So you can have something that you directly consume that gives you ATP, but it's not a protein, fat, carbohydrate. You have instead of only like three colors, like red, green, blue, to like paint pictures.
Yeah.
You have like a fourth color that didn't really exist in conjunction because like normally in physiology, you don't really have a context where you have high glucose and high ketones at the same time. So from an athletic context perspective, and that's where we're seeing a lot of the performance gains. You have carbs and ketones elevated at the same time, which doesn't happen normally.
