Short excerpt from a YouTube interview titled "The Silver Lining of Pain" (uploaded April 22, 2024) in which host Josh Trent and guest Teal Swan discuss how pain signals opportunities for growth and how resistance indicates an internal conflict that must be understood and reconciled. The exchange emphasizes looking directly at resistance, diving into it, and finding alignment between opposing internal parts.

There's a gift in the pain, there's a gift in the growth, but it doesn't feel like that when we're in the middle of the contraction.
Whenever resistance presents itself, you have to look directly at it. You have to dive into it. You have to understand it completely. Also, whatever it is that that resistance is opposing, because it's essentially your own being, indicating to you that you've got an internal war going on. Your goal has to be to end that war. And the only way to do so is to understand both sides as deeply as is possible, to find wherever their alignment actually is.
