William Davis delivers a motivational speech about creating your own opportunities. If doors are closed to you, kick them down. If you're excluded from groups, start your own. Leadership isn't a title someone gives you, it's what you do.
Guys, there's always gonna be people that tell you you can't do something. Alright? One of our speakers talked about the fact that doors might be closed. Well, let me tell you something. When doors are closed for ya, kick 'em down. When doors are closed for you, kick 'em down. If somebody won't let you be a part of something that you are enthusiastic about, that you desire to make a change in and to do better in, kick 'em down. If they won't let you in, start your own group. I'm going to tell you today, the truth is leadership is not about title, is not about position, and it's not about anybody giving you permission to do what you want to do in order to improve things. It's not. If I had listened to everybody, I'd listen to every time somebody told me you can't do that. I wouldn't be standing here today.
