And we're back with another episode of FYM with Ty and yo, that's my man Ty.
I'm.
Yo. This is our fourth live stream, I believe. Ty, how you feeling?
Good, man. Feeling good?
Oh, yeah.
You know, getting, getting into the groove of these things. Mike. Yeah.
Yes, sir. Yes, sir. How you feeling today about topics like what's on your mind, what's interesting to you, man?
What's been interesting is there's, there's this, the time of the year where sports are starting, where, you know, basketball season is not fully in yet, but it's going to be like that, those moments when you, when you have football, start back college, NFL, and now you, you know, you start seeing a lot more people engaged about sports topics and things of that nature. It's interesting because I think, you know, like, I recently seen Travis Kelsey, they announced the engagement with, with Taylor Swift. Smart man. You know what I'm saying? Very smart man. Hopefully he stays smart, you know what I mean? And then, you know, you have, you know, I work across music and sports. And so one of the things that just happened this past weekend in Atlanta, that boy Lucci just sold 12, 000 tickets at State Farm Arena. First show back from being home. Shout out to Fly, shout out to dead ass, shout out to Lucci, shout out to Gooch. You know what I'm saying? So that was great to see and hear, you know what I mean? Solid people still get, you know, respect and how they actually do things. So I seen that. That was really dope. I mean, there's a lot of moving pieces going on with, like, the country and, and all these different things. And, you know, got Labor Day weekend coming up, so I want to. I'm curious where everybody's gonna be doing for the Labor Day weekend and trying to make sure that they don't labor as much, you know what I mean? Get some of that wellness in their life.
Ty, how important is it to kind of stay up to date with everything that's going on? Because you're not just a consumer, you're someone that works across these fields. So how do you keep up and, like, what is important for you to keep up on when it comes to, like, sports and music?
Man, that's such a loaded question because, you know, I remember telling. I can't remember who I told this to. I probably, probably was Barry. When Usher performed at the Super Bowl, Barry was like, yo, they doing a sneak peek of Usher performance, you know, today. And it was like, probably two days before the Super Bowl. I was like, Nah, bruh. I want to see it for the first time like a fan because there's so many moments that I think get taken away from being just a fan when you work in an industry. And so I'll be trying to find more of those different moments the more I get involved with sports. And like they recently had a 53 man cut down to start the season, so every team had to pretty much cut like 30 plus players. And so you see a whole bunch of scrambling happening within, you know, a 24 hour period of teams trying to get their roster together and trying to close the deal on these different things. Right. But then you start to see colleges start to pick up, so you start hearing more ramping up about college and all of those different elements of it. And then you still have a lot of the basketball, high school tournaments and invitations and all these things happening during, you know, August or whatever the case might be. So for me, I try to stay tapped in from a work perspective to be aware of what's going on. Instagram gives me a lot of information, but I've learned that Instagram can be a bit distractive, you know, saying I get a lot of information, a lot of like workout tips and things of that nature, but trying to stay in tune with what, what's the new hot record out or, you know, I, I miss those. And when I'm trying to like work with artists and just focus on how can I help them be, you know, a better version of themselves and help build their business. So it's not, I don't really have a real straightforward answer to it. It's a lot of notifications. There's a lot of day to day, you know what I'm saying? Diving, it's a lot of, you know, capturing content from your peers and people you work alongside or you work with to get a lot of that different information as well, you know, and I'll be on substance. So it's a lot more long form, eating right really, you know, current events necessarily.
Is it stressful for you to kind of like balance all these different aspects of your life?
I, I recently just got back from a retreat and they did a test. It's a breathing test they do, it's called deep breathing. And so they do a deep breathing test to see how your breathing aligns with your heartbeat. And by that they can tell about how stressed out you are. Oh, from your alignment with your breathing in your heartbeat. And so for me, as a, as a, like I'm a business owner, right. So there's so Much level of stress that come with it. You know, I really don't, I just don't care as much, you know what I'm saying? Like when I started thinking about the level of stress that you can actually like feel on your body as an entrepreneur. But I go sleep, go to sleep because it's a lot of stress and it's a lot of pressure. Even if it's just two people running the business. Right. If, if you're doing it full time, that stress is, is a lot. It doesn't matter if you're breaking even every year, if you're just generating money to pay the bills. But the level of that stress is, is, is a, is a real thing and you kind of see it throughout different countries. I don't know if, I don't know if you've been paying attention to the, the black woman that owned the whiskey. Which one? It's like uncle, uncle dearest. Yeah, right. And so they, they're going through this lawsuit or some kind of judgment where the judge ordered somebody else to pretty much run their business while they get their loans and stuff in order. And I think they call it a receiver or something like that. But it's basically, they're basically trying, they're basically saying allegedly that there was some fraud activity that the barrels of wine or barrels of whiskey and where they supposed to be at. But that was the first time I kind of seen like a judge like, like put a judgment to put somebody.
In place to run else in control of your business.
Right, right. I've never seen that unless you like lose the business or like bankruptcy or something like that. But it doesn't feel like that was the actual case or that's something that I caught that was like, that seemed like it's stressful as a business owner. Right. Where you're like building up a business and you get up to millions and millions of dollars of revenue or millions and millions of dollars or hundreds of millions of dollars in, in brand equity. And you know that type of news is hitting the Internet that can be negatively impactful to your business. It's kind of crazy.
It's kind of insane, especially because you're not in a space to defend yourself against all of the comments and, and you're losing control of your business. So that is stressful in itself. No, I, I haven't seen that. But it kind of reminds me a little bit of the tick tock situation from like a year ago where they were pretty much saying you have to give up control to an American company if you want to keep Tick Tock in the App Store in America. I thought that was crazy because, well, what grounds? If you're saying that this is a security risk, then what is changing hands of the business going to actually change actual, you know, the thing, the problem, it doesn't fix the problem. It just puts someone else in control of my company. Like why would I do that? So obviously we've kind of seen how the TikTok fiasco has kind of played out over the last 12 months. But that sounds similar to me. But even then I had never heard of that before either.
And listen, you know, I don't really know how that would transitional works. I mean obviously it's something that's still, you know, in the works.
Right.
But it, it makes sense where it's like it's a US based company, how much data is being shared already or will continue to be shared. Logically, it just feels like, oh, you just shut it down because that's what China would do, channel just blah, blah, like shut this down. This thing can't even be in here. I don't know what y' all got.
Going on right now. Other countries have already shut down Tick Tock in their app stores. Like I went and read about that in like the Middle east and stuff. They weren't playing around. There was like a lot of the competitor apps boomed because of the shutdowns. But I mean obviously America was thinking about the money and the long term play.
Think about it. Definitely. America definitely think about that paper, I'll tell you that much.
But I guess as a business owner you, you made it seem like Ty, you don't have sleepless nights when you're stressed.
I think because I love sleep. So like, you know, you love donuts, you know what I'm saying things that drive you to donuts. You know, you don't feel like it is like, you know what I'm saying, you don't feel like it's, you don't feel that stress, you know what I'm saying? So for me, since I love sleep and sleep is actually a healing process driving me to sleep, you know, because I'm stressed out or I feel stress coming, feels like it is a, you know, a healthy mechanism for wellness. It's almost like somebody getting frustrated and they drive themselves to like go work out, go hit the gym or whatever, you know what I'm saying?
You said I'm going to sleep.
Yeah, I go night night.
You mentioned something earlier about food and it's funny because I think of Thai as Orange juice and salmon. That's tied to me because when we were traveling for the Culture Playbook Volume one, it didn't matter where we was at. We was in New York, Louisiana, Atlanta, Miami. Ty was gonna get some variation of salmon and orange juice. And I thought it was so interesting because, you know, these are full me's. They got mad options. Every restaurant, Ty was in the same thing. And you kind of instilled in me this idea that food is for fuel and it's just about getting the energy to get through your day. But I've noticed you became a bit more of a foodie since we've been doing fym, and I just kind of want to see how has food played a part in your life now?
Yeah, yeah. I don't know. What food are you seeing? Because I stopped eating salmon a year ago.
You did?
Yeah. I stopped eating salmon because of the United States and all day, like manipulate the food. And so moving to Miami or being in Miami, I suggest me eating more white fish. Then I recently found out I'm allergic to eggs, milk powder, which is it, which is milk, cashews, almond, peanuts, all of those different type of things. So now I'm even more kind of pulling back on what I kind of eat and what I can't eat from a, from a tolerance perspective, you know what I'm saying? So from a. I try to explore different options that are healthy but, you know, can't eat the, the, the, the, the protein, the, the natural protein things that I was doing with like cashews and almonds. So I have to like, switch it out to like Q1 or, you know, other type of protein driven things that not necessarily meat, you know, And I'm not one of those people like, oh, don't kill the animals. You know, I just know that, you know, what red meat does to your digestive system, what meat in general does to your digestive system. I really try to limit it. I mean, if you want to think about the last, I'll say seven years, I maybe have eaten 30 chicken wings in the last seven years.
Seven years.
50 at the most. You know what I mean? Because, you know, I'm conscious of like, what it does to my digestive system, how much it settles. And if you are eating meat as sparingly as I am, then, you know, you might not have the same effect as somebody that's grilling out every other day. Right. They got their, they got the chops, they got the steaks, they got, yeah, the lamb, the lamb. They're going crazy you know what I'm saying? And so the lamb is actually very good. Last time I had some, which has been a long time ago, but I can still taste it.
You remember? I guess I, I didn't mean to call you a foodie, but I remember we did an episode about you fasting and how you were collecting all these recipes because you were interested in cooking more. So I guess I was more saying that you've explored a, A greater palette.
Yeah. It's so funny because I, I made them. I made that food that one time. Then I ain't making no more.
Really.
It's hard. I was excited and I made it and I got that excitement out and then, you know, I went off. Went back to my postmates life. Yes. It's a lot to cook, man. Like, my schedule's so crazy. I just looked at my schedule, I just did a backtrack because I'm trying to reduce my traveling and I'm at like 73 flights this year. And I'm like, we still got September, October, November, six. They got four more months.
Dang. You think you're gonna hit 200?
Oh, no, I'm not gonna be nowhere near 200. I'm probably gonna hit 100 though. I've been trying to reduce. To 900.
Yeah.
And reduce my cost of, of traveling, but you know, it's coming. That's a part of like building a business. And I do a lot of talent relations. I wish. Hear me and I hope Jesus hears me. I wish I had a business that will only keep me in one city. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? I wish I only had like 25 golf simulators throughout Florida. And only thing I gotta do is go to Miami, West Palm beach, you know, and then when I want to travel, I can just travel for, from, from a freely perspective, you know what I'm saying? But that's not, that's not what God blessed me with. So, you know, I'm working towards it.
But I guess that's why I kind of asked about food. But also travel, it seems like because your businesses require so much of you in so many different places. Like how do you navigate? I guess like the appreciation of seeing so much because I think most people never get a chance to travel as much as you do and still also recognize that it's a lot to do. It.
Yeah, it's a lot to do. It's a lot of your body. I mean, you ever seen those, those, those Instagram videos and they'll be like on my way to the Golf course. And then the guy be looking, he'll see all of these crazy things happening. All right. There's like this content where I've just seen one recently where they were like my car broke down getting some gas and then on the way to get gas and they would just show all these different things that people are doing at gas station and things of that nature or that they will see, walk village or whatever. I feel like that's like my life when I'm traveling. It's just like you will just see and hear, you know, the most, the most crazy, like funny, outlandish things that you would like never think that you would hear. Right. But then it's the, it's the part about the, the humans. I think a lot of our lives we, we have so many different interaction with humans, especially now that it, it becomes a. It feels like a reality show. It feels like if you travel enough, that is basically a reality show. You know what I'm saying? Because you're thinking about same airport, different airport, Infinite airport, same airport. The travel, the booking, the flight attendants look so different. All the different walks of life, you know what I'm saying? You'll see people who are insecure about, you know, their, how they drew, how they look at the airport because it's an early flight and they got on a bonnet or they got on a, you know, pajamas or whatever the case might be. And then you got some people that are just, you know, got kids, two, three kids they traveling with. It's like, it's like a ongoing. Do you see kids running with scraps around? They risk like they locked up and they trying to do you see guys riding the, riding the luggage through the airport. Like it's just so many things going on where we just feel like a full blown reality show.
That is funny. That is true though, Ty. I think your life is a reality show except you don't document it as such.
Nah, I definitely don't.
But I think if you did, you. I think our show producer V had put in the chat about Love island being a really popular reality show right now. And I'm not a. I don't consume Love island, but I've seen it online and it seems like the reality show has built a brands for all of the contestants or now they're getting like brand deals and huge brand deals. Brand deals up into the six and seven figures more than they would have made if they would have won the show. Why do you think people are attached to reality tv, Ty?
Think it's a. I Think it's a. It's an underlying escape from their reality. And then it's also close to that reality. You know what I'm saying? Like, when you think about MTV Cribs, right, you see people, you know, like, yeah, welcome to my crib trip being incredible. You'd be like, whoa, yeah, no way. I would have even. I don't know, I can't even imagine myself being in the two bedroom condo versus like this mega mansion, right? But then you get into the thought process of like reality TV shows and what, what a person sees is like they can see themselves living that today, like right now. And I think that's where it really, really, you know, brings people in because they're not trying to be perfect, right? They're not trying to be like none of those different things. And I think that's what makes reality tv like super, super, super, you know, impactful. Even though so crazy about it. I will, I would be interested in seeing like that has this thing called. It's a tomato. It's like a tomato fight in Spain.
Did you see that tomato fight, bro?
It's a full blown tomato fight in Spain, right? And I will be curious and I probably will watch this. I will be curious of a reality TV show that follows up, that follows the person that get prepared to be preparation. The preparation for the big tomato fight that happens in Spain. And I will be very, very curious to know, like if we can capture the vantage point of the person that like wins like, like who wins this tomato fight. What is the prize for the tomato fight, bro? It's like crazy. It's like tens of thousands of people hurling fruit and it's an annual tomato festival.
Tomato festival. I would have never guessed that it's something that people would be entertained by.
But I seen some clips on Instagram, it was just nothing but red. I'm like, bro, what is this tomato fight? A festival fool fight. Crazy.
Ty. You find the most unique things.
Okay, I thought it was, I thought it was deep fakes.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Defects. And I was just like, wait a minute, they're having a full blown food fight with tomatoes outside in Spain. This is a thing. It happens every year.
A part of a festival.
No, no, I think it is the festival.
It is the festival.
Yeah, I think it is the festival. I think they build everything around that, bro.
Humans are fast.
Like a full fight festival.
Yeah, yeah, but specifically tomatoes. But I guess that's you think about.
Tomatoes are where people throw, you know, like the whole thing. It's called it's called La Tomato.
Yeah.
In Ulan Blonde Spain or some. But it's literally 22, 22, 000 people participate, transforming the streets into a red splattered background. 22, 000 people. I thought people. It's crazy. It starts at. It starts at 12 and then it ends at 1pm it's literally.
I don't even.
They got, they got different, like, they got different things, like different battlegrounds, different themes. Oh, and this is the 80th anniversary.
They've been doing this for 80 years, yo.
They've been doing this. The roots is in 1945. They've been doing this since 1945. It's a tomato funeral. You can't, you can't even make this type of stuff up. Humans are so interesting.
That's what I was about to say. But the longevity, I would, I would have thought that started 10 years ago, 15 years ago. Some real recent online Internet type of thing, like something someone did for engagements. You tell them we're doing this before camera phones, bro.
Literally, bro. Literally. I'm literally doing background check and I'm just like, yo, this is, this is crazy that this is even. Wow. It gained official tourist status in 2002, but you know, by 1957, after being banned, it was local. Local staged a symbolic tomato funeral before it made its comeback, bro. So they started in 1945, then the government, like banned it in 1957. Then the fans did a, A funeral, tomato funeral before it came back. And then it gained a lot of tourist attraction in 2002. So now over the last past 23 years, it has been ongoing, it's been booming, bro. Crazy. What you make of that? What do you make of that? If you, if you were tasked, if you was tasked as a, as a journalist, hip hop journalist to say, hey, as a hip hop journalist, what hip hop songs would you score doing this epic 80 year old. For the 80th anniversary, we want to hire you to put together a hip Hop journal soundtrack playlist that will score.
This epic Bodies by Offset. That's the first song that came to mind because I just feel like bodies is hitting the floor, that is. But I guess, Ty, this is the thing that fascinates me. As someone who has been building decks to sell ideas, a big question is, what are your comps? Right? What is something comparable to the thing you want to make so people will know? Oh, this is like that, Ty. I would have no comp for that. I have no comp for the tomato. I wouldn't even know how to sell that. But the crazy part is, to your greater point, people have been so dedicated to it, they buried it, they brought it back to life and have been committed to it for 20 plus years.
I mean, you got things like what they call that festival, Burning Man. So you got things like Burning man that people have been doing for decades and stuff.
So it's like it has music involved, it has a different, you know what I'm saying?
I mean, but that tomato fight, probably like it'll get away some steam. That's what I'm saying.
Like you talking about.
Just imagine you work in Spain, you see a boss and you don't like your boss. Oh, it going down in tomatoes, baby.
It's probably great for stress. I bet they got a low stress rate in Spain because folks just wait for the tomato fight. If I, if I got a business and we having a hard season, I know where I'm cutting loose. I know them tomatoes come and they probably right. I just, I am fascinated by how things last that long. Right.
Because I feel like, I feel like I could talk about this tomato thing all day, all day, all day. But we want to get some more. You know, the thing about. I'm curious to hear your thought process of like, you know, celebrity love, because I think the Taylor Swift and the Travis Kelsey thing has been an ongoing thing. And I think a lot of people thought that it was like fake, like there was like this ploy to kind of like, you know, put them together so that they can, you know, help one another. I mean, I don't tell us what don't need no help or nothing.
Zero health.
It's interesting to see that like Travis Kelsey has started to launch so many business outside of sports alone, just allegedly alongside like his newfound relationship with Taylor Swift. But I feel like knowing people that work in entertainment, that data that's married, I think that there's a certain level of like support that someone like Taylor would give Travis because he doesn't have ownership in the Chiefs, he don't have ownership of the NFL. So like somebody that's so impactful in what they do can basically encourage and kind of help them set up and be very supportive of like what's going on for him. But I don't think people will see it as like that. They just look at it like it's a publicity stunt.
Right?
But I mean like, you got two famous people, man. One of the hardest thing about relationship is trust. Especially when you live on very high level bunch of information that you don't want People knowing about, you gotta almost date somebody that got that same level of, you know, skin in the game that they can, you know, they got a lot of at risk as well.
You know, I was watching something on ESPN yesterday where they were discussing the engagement. I was like, ESPN is talking about an engagement, right. And they were talking about how the Swifties have kind of came in and been very supportive of the, of the NFL because of the relationship. So I do can understand why some people might be like, well, look at the stakes here. Taylor Swift has a huge fan base and being able to migrate that much attention to any team would be, you know, a owner of the NFL would love to have Taylor Swift at every game, right?
Yeah.
But on the flip side, to your greater point, where else can you as a winning champion find someone that's going to understand your relationship to the world, right? To your fans, to the money that you make. Especially when you don't have ownership. Like the ability of a pop star to go out on stage and perform every night and to own their music and to own their masters is way different than an NFL star. But they can encourage the type of businesses that you can create that you can't own and how to use your likeness to your advantage. I do think I've seen Travis Kelsey way more since he started dating Taylor Swift. I don't think I ever saw him beforehand, but like now he's kind of came out his shell in so many different ways to his benefit, to their benefit, because you know, they are union. And I do think that's the beauty of it. It's like, bro, you got a partner in this.
Yeah, I mean, listen, man, I think it's an incredible business deal for both of them. You know, if they got some intimacy and some love into it, I think that makes it even better. But if you just say black and white, hey, listen, I don't got that many people. I got a lot of resources. You got a lot of resources. It makes it easy to do non profit. I mean not non profits until my non profit, but prenups say make it easy to be predominant. Like, yo, if this don't work out, you leave what you came with. I leave what I came with.
But Ty, do you see marriage as a business deal?
Absolutely. Yes. The business deal, you know, it's, it's, it's your, is your bond and your actual honor in front of God through, through, no, a biblical sense. And like doing it, doing it in a way that, that can really be healing for both parties. But then it's A contract. You know, you people don't realize that they In a business deal with God. All these bad business partner that God got. I got all these bad business partners you should have been with. Bankrupt. A bunch of bad business partners, they don't keep up their end of the bargain.
He's a forgiving partner, luckily.
So, like, like. So when we talk about a lot of these different things, it's like, it's a contract. It don't matter if it's a handshake.
Yeah.
It doesn't matter if it's a. In silence, agreeance about, you know, vows. These are all business terms. I told you I learned how to write. I learned how to read contracts by reading the Bible.
You did say that.
Yeah. That's what taught me how to read contracts.
Okay, break that down, though. Why is the Bible instrumental for you learning how to read contracts?
Well, because the Bible, if you read one scripture, right, and you only look at that scripture to go out and live your life, there's another scripture in another part of the Bible that really brings that together, right? And that's how I put together contracts. So when I look at a contract and I see a term that says, oh, this is the royalty part of the contract, I'm like, okay. And it might say in the contract, see section 1213, right? If I look at section 1213, 1213 can basically say, yeah, so that royalty is canceled out. If you get locked up, if you be a royalty reduced every time you get. If I never looked at that, If I never got this section 12, 18, 12, 8 before I signed it. Yeah, I just signed over what I thought was a 80, 20 deal. 80. In my favorite, it got another clause in it, right. 12 sections down, that puts the whole contract together. So that taught me how to read all contracts, not just music contracts. It taught me to read every single contract that I'm able to look at today. And now, if you think about the Bible, there are so many different scriptures that bring you together. If you kind of read all the way through, you know, Psalms, if you read all the way through Genesis. But if you don't, if you just take one little piece, you can use that to manipulate, you know, younger people, less educated people about the Bible, things of that nature. The same way contracts can be used to be manipulated.
Tom, that's fascinating because you're right. Like, because some people will look at one part of the Bible and be like, okay, I'm gonna live by this, and that's it. But you. You didn't get to the next Book. So you don't have no idea how that has a greater point or the ramifications if you don't follow certain things. So dang. That's crazy.
What?
When did you read the Bible?
Come on. The entire Bible?
I mean, I guess like when did you. I guess this part, that part of your life where you were like. And I'm learning that there's.
Right, right. This is gonna sound terrible, but God know my heart. I stopped falling asleep reading the Bible once I realized it could teach me how to read contracts.
So the moment you knew was it could be about business.
God trying to tell me something. But before then I would just fall asleep reading livid ass words. Fairy tales about Moses and all these not listening to God. I would just go to sleep. I will always go back to. I don't know what scripture this is. But when he was feeding all the. With the bread and the loaf of bread and feeding all them, I will go back to that scripture a lot. And I would go back to the scripture about when he was walking on water, you know, because it always talked about those stood out as disbelief like because those are miracles, right? Then the following subscription down, they still don't believe that he like that. And I would just be like, man, this is crazy, man. Like this man, just like this, this being is like walking through different ways. It's like feeding tens of thousands of people with a loaf of bread and some fish, right? Then he leave there and he just go start walking on water. It's like Jesus, grand theft auto. It's like, how you not know?
And they don't believe. They don't believe he brought up.
And it's not that they don't believe in the moment. It's like so that they still start questioning. Let me tell you like this right here. If I look outside of my balcony right now and I see a walking across the water, I'm running downstairs, I'm gonna find me a little boat or something. I'm trying to go get that. So I'm trying to be that. No, I'm trying to be. That's my friend. I see a walking on water. I'm believing everything they saying, no questions. What the we talking about? I don't even understand. I look to right now in my life. I look for peers that are so good at what they do that I can just be like, yeah, just listen to them. Why am I doing all this thinking?
You're not wrong.
I will follow Michael Jordan types talent. Okay? We follow it. What's happening? What we need to do, where I need to show up at.
Why do you think people so stubborn, though? Like, why do we. Why do we have such. Why is disbelief so easy?
Free will we got. We think that we like that individually. Yeah, we think that we like that. Like, I. Man, listen, you have no clue how fast I would be. Like, yeah, let's do. Like, I already do it. I just got off an artist call, and when the artist is on top of their joint, I'm like, well, so what you need me to do? I don't want to be in the leadership role with no damn artist career. It ain't my career. I want to be in a strategic mode. I want to be able to give strategy. I want to be able to be informative. But I don't want to be the leader for you. I would rather just be following your step, your gauge. But a lot of people don't understand, especially artists, they don't understand that they're leaders. The moment they start creating things and creating results, you are a leader. Even if you don't want to hold that hat or wear that hat or jump over that hat, you're a leader. And if you don't step into that, you find yourself, you know, shortchange yourself to start because you don't grow. And then you have people thinking that they have more power on over you than they do. I remember telling multiple producers, I would tell people, specifically with Brent, I would be like, hey, man, you know, he can produce all of this himself, right? Don't get confused that, you know, he's allowing you to help, that, you know, that that's. That's not the place, you know what I'm saying? At the moment, I'll say. I would say that for, like, years. Then all mine came out, and that was in 2022. And right now, today, you know, one of his popular records on Spotify is a record that he wrote and produced. It's like, you know, but I would say to them, like, hey, man, don't get. Don't think that this person don't have the ability to go out and do it on their own, because they do. But they just prefer to kind of like, share the interest and all those different things. But, like, it's so easy to work with artists that know what they want to do, know what they want to hear, know they want to see, and they are. They're accountable to themselves. Meaning. Hey, I'm sorry I was late. Hey, I know I told you I agreed to this six months ago, but I don't Agree anymore. What can we do to fix that? Not just saying, yeah, so I know, but you know, without saying, because I'm the artist, I can do whatever I want to do without saying that in. In different words. So yeah, man, I'm. I'm trying. I ain't trying to be. Handle disbelief. Walking on water. Start feeding 10,000 people with. With some Popeyes chicken. Two. Two piece of chicken. You just keep opening the Popeyes Chicken box and chicken just keep appearing. Hey, man, that's my friend. I got one.
One last question. Have you seen any miracles recently?
What? I'm a miracle? You are Anybody that generating money at the pace that people around in our ecosystem is. We are miracles because miracles are supposed to fuel communities. One miracle can full. Can fuel a community for a lifetime. It's in the Bible. The Bible talks about community and miracles and how they intertwine. I know, I know for a fact I wasn't supposed to be here. The fact that I'm here and my best friends, they got, you know, my best friend that got murdered or my other cousin that stayed in jail, like, for me to be here, knowledgeable, being able to articulate myself, being able to, like, continue to grow, to be able to adopt and adapt to different things, to be able to see, you know, things that I do not like and not, not, not jeopardize them through action, through emotions, to understand all of those different things, to be seeing all of the. The nonsense that go on and not participate in it and have enough discipline. I didn't get this discipline through myself. I got this discipline through God. That was a part of the gift for me to do my purpose, you know what I'm saying? To walk through the most dingiest, dirtiest experiences throughout entertainment and music is to still be able to be free of drugs, free of being a sex slave or addicted to sex or addicted to anything. Free of not being, you know, earning the people and to add value to people's lives and to have clarity on what you should say, what you shouldn't say. So for me, I'm a walking miracle. I know, I know, I know a good amount of these walking miracles, you know what I'm saying? You got individuals like top dog walking miracle. You know what I'm saying? Like, you got individuals like p. Walking mirror miracle. You know, you have, you know, you have women that are, you know, like walking miracles. It's a CEO for. For. I can't remember her name. Poppy, or I think Sarah from Spain. Like these, these are humans that was in these little incubators. At home that figured out without any startup capital money, all these different things like that, they're building something. No matter if it fails or lasts forever, but just them building it gives like a spark to a community of people. You know what I'm saying? On the, the, the, the, the young woman that, that, that pinky, that birth, you know, slutty vegan, like that stuff fuse a community, you know. I don't know if you know much about the PayPal mafia, right? Where Elon Musk like, like it's a lot of entrepreneurs. Peter Thiel that all came from PayPal. Okay. You know what I'm saying? And they call it PayPal mafia. Like the PayPal mafia. If I just look up real quick, PayPal mafia. Oh, the companies that those guys are affiliated with today and the multiple amounts of companies that they've been affiliated today is, is literally crazy. You got Elon Musk, Peter Till, Maxin Reed Hoffman, Dave Sachs.
Dave Sachs, Yep.
Dave Sachs. You have man, I can't even read some of these cats names man. But you got the, the co founders of YouTube. You got one of the partners of See is it. It's a, it's a big capital firm. Sakaya Sequoia, if I'm not, if I'm pronouncing it correctly but it's a huge venture firm. Then you got the founder of Yale, you know, you know, you got founders of Yammer, founders of LinkedIn, the co founder for a firm, the, the person that created slides that end up getting sold to Google. We already know it. Elon Musk on you know what I'm saying? Peter T is the co founder of Palantir, the, the tech company that's like, I think it's like I can't remember what it is but I got stocks in it though and it stops going crazy. Then you got Peter T also was an early investor into Facebook. So when you start looking at the amount of impact all of these businesses have today, they all came from PayPal.
The success of PayPal One One Business Fed all of these other businesses.
And that's, I mean we're talking about trillions of dollars of eco of ecosystem of companies, right? So when I think about miracles, each last one of these gentlemen was miracles that now has power. Different communities now they decide to pick and choose who they power. That's a whole nother conversation. But you know, we're supposed to be an image of God as we walking through this earth on this journey. I'm not nowhere near Jesus. I'm not Jesus. I'm not God. But if you're reading the scripture, you are a. You're an image. You know, God made us an image of Jesus. So walking around being a miracle is needed to cure disbelief so that the enemy cannot manipulate you. The devil can't manipulate you if you get rid of disbelief. In order to get rid of disbelief, you got to believe in miracles. Because when you believe in miracles, you continue to follow the miracle. It's not about you. The miracle is supposed to thrive a community so that you can keep serving the kingdom in prosperity. You know what I'm saying? Not with. Not. Not like not having your basic needs met. Like, that's crazy. If you're talking about, you know, a scripture aspect, you got me in Bible study right now. You.
You deep in it. But, hey, we needed the word on Wednesday. You know, we're on Wednesday. You have any closing comments for this time? We hit the 45 minute mark and.
You know, no, I don't have no codes and comments, man. Just remember, don't be a bad business partner to Jesus. That's it.
That's a life lesson.
Lifeless.
