SPEAKER A recounts how a consultant-like mentor guided them through making an album and how that experience inspired them to start a mentorship program (Femme Forward) to help women. They reflect on lacking mentors while growing up, facing rejection or limited support, and chose to release the program during the pandemic because they had time and space to build new initiatives.

This guy helped me. Like, he was kind of like my consultant when we worked on the album. Like, how you. And he kind of held my hand and walked me through the whole process, but also started this mentorship program. Like, I feel like I didn't have a lot of mentors. Like, growing up, I didn't. You know, it was like, I didn't have someone to kind of. I had a couple of people, but, like, the one. The Caroline, I had, but I didn't really have a lot of. Of support. Right. I didn't have a lot of people support me and hold my hand and, like, help me. I remember people that wouldn't support me and people that rejected me or people like, I can't help you because I'm trying to help myself. That stands out the most. And so I always knew that I wanted to give back and help women. So when the pandemic happened, it was just like, now is the time to release this program, because I have the time and space to work on these other verticals that I want to build that I don't know how.
