A short YouTube transcript excerpt (dialogue) from Worldwide Ty titled "The Struggle of Following Up a Music Hit." Two speakers (A and B) discuss how difficult it is for artists who score a single hit—especially if they only release one album—to follow it up and sustain a career; causes mentioned include quitting and substance issues leading artists to "fizzle out."
If you get a hit record after you don't put out five albums.
It'S more valuable. But if you only put one album and you had one hit or one single, yeah, it's. It's tough.
It's tough to follow that up. So that record was crazy everywhere.
Let me ask you this, bro, because this is a struggle. And I don't know, on some artist development ties, like, and I don't want to name nobody, especially Philly, bro. Let me know. There's so many people I saw that was hot. They came in here, they had to hit, and they just fizzle out, dog. Whether they quit, whether they getting drugs, whether they just getting, like.
