A short YouTube commentary by Worldwide Ty (single-speaker) arguing that rapper Wale’s emotional, outspoken behavior online has at times boxed him out of industry conversations and hurt his career; the speaker claims that when Wale refrains from posting on the Internet he experiences more career success.
A lot of people would say how Wale was, like, emotional, and he would say everything online, and that would, like people would. He would unintentionally box himself out of conversations because of how emotional he was online, how he expressed himself. And either you have to not give a fuck about it, or you have to care about it, but he cared about it. So it was like it was. You cared about it, but then you directly, you know, do it, and it just keep happening. And if you pay attention to Wale's trajectory, when Wale is not talking on the fucking Internet, he's having actually more success with his career.
