The speaker argues 30-year-olds shouldn't count as Gen Z because they went to offline schools, never used ChatGPT in high school, and faced a gutted job market after college. Younger Gen Z had fundamentally different formative experiences.

I cannot believe that 30-year-olds are still considered Gen Z. Like, sir, you have a family of 4. You are not Gen Z. You did not have an online middle school graduation. You didn't even take any online classes at all unless you were in grad school. But still, Zoom high school is different. You didn't even have ChatGPT in high school. You did not graduate college into one of the worst job markets ever with all of the entry-level roles wiped out. You're not— you can't relate to this. You're not Gen Z. I refuse to believe that.
