This is my first time not living at a dorm in the past 8 years. I moved to the US when I was 12 years old on my own, and I went to junior boarding school. So I started living on a dorm in 7th grade, and I've been in boarding school throughout middle and high school. And obviously in college, we have to live on a dorm for the first 2 years, and this year I'm finally moving out. I've actually been quite nervous about this whole transition because even though I was so excited to get out of dorm, Setting up your own apartment is obviously a lot of work. I'm very thankful that I found really great roommates and we've sorted out the whole thing together, but there were definitely a lot of ups and downs, and there were some problems that we could have avoided in hindsight.
