A speaker tries a social media trend of listing hoped-for changes, then realizes many of his goals already happened. He suggests doing a year-in-review to see what you've actually accomplished and rebuild momentum when you feel stuck.

If you're in a slump right now and you feel like you've been stuck, there's been a few more downs than ups lately, then I've got the perfect trick for you. You know that one video trend where it's like, "Let's see if things change in a year," and you list a bunch of things about your current scenario that you are not satisfied with? I tried making that video earlier today because there's been a few things in my life that have not gone the way that I had hoped, but then when I started listing things out, I realized that, you know what, there's actually a lot that I have accomplished in the past year that I should be proud of, and Of course there are things that I can still work on that I'm hoping to accomplish in the next year, but a lot of those are already being acted on. A lot of these are already goals on track, and there's nothing about this current circumstance that I feel powerless to change. And even though I was feeling pretty down for the past week, that simple exercise has really helped me reinstall that gratitude back in my life and make me realize that I should be really grateful for where I'm at. So if this video has found you, I trust that it is for a reason, and I encourage you to do this exercise and see the magic happen.
