September 2, 2022.
Eight years.
Happy Friday, everyone. You are here with Corinna Fox, Aaron Wybrow, and Jessica Sutherwood from Diagnostics and Finance. Today I would like to begin by introducing one of our team members that we've been lucky enough to employ over the last two years. Diagnostics and Finance has been able to grow from three staff members now to a team of eight. So we wanted to begin today and over the next couple of weeks start to introduce the team. So today we have Jess with us and we would love to ask Jess a few questions so you can all get to know her a little bit more and about the wonderful work she does here with us. Over to you, Aaron.
So we got four questions for you. And the first question is, what is your role here and what does it entail?
So my role here is the senior learns processor. Most of you will have spoken to me by now and what that means is I try to ensure a smooth learning process through education and guidance to our clients.
Perfect.
And the next question we have for you and sometimes for people that haven't been in the office and haven't heard the banter that goes on, one of the things that I say in the office with these two ladies is that Corina is my right hand lady and Jess is my left hand lady. So what keeps you motivated, Jess?
Responsibility, definitely. Responsibility to our clients and advocating for their applications with lenders. And sometimes it's not always a smooth process. So, you know, it keeps us motivated to get up and to push those lenders around a little bit and, you know, ultimately get those loans approved and settled.
Sounds like fighting the good fight every day.
Always a battle. Finance, never a battle, but it is a battle. And if you could give advice to any of our clients to help them get through, what would you advise them to do?
Get your ducks in a row.
Get your ducks in a row. Great, great.
Get organized, get your details together, get your documents together, have your goals in mind, give us a call and have a chat, because we can guide you, we can educate you, you know, it can push for you. And for the first time, buyers get a pre approval. Get a pre approval in place before you go out.
That's some really good advice. I think there's, you know, if you want to make the process easy, you want to make it work for you, you want to make sure that you're supported, you need to make sure that you're supporting us so we can support you. And I guess there's never a silly question that's asked. So Jess has, I think, eight years experience of loans processing. So Jess is a really great resource and champion to have on your side. So she is a great asset to our team. We absolutely love having her. So often if you're here, we have brokers and we've got support staff that assist us as brokers. And often Aaron and I or the other brokers here, we're in meetings, so we're not available to ask the questions that you might have. And this is where we want to make sure that our team is supported and to support you educated. So if you have any questions about the loans process and Jess is looking after you, she will more than likely know exactly what it is that you need. So you don't have to always rely on us brokers if we're not available. As a senior loans processor here, Jess is our go to for the senior support for the entire office and absolutely to you as our clients as well. So thank you so much, Jess, for jumping in today and we threw you in the deep end. We'd only notice this morning that this is happening. So thank you again. We absolutely love having you here and we hope everyone else enjoys working with Jess too.
It's a good place to be. Thanks, guys.
Thanks, everyone.
Thanks.
