Walt Disney built an empire from passion for animation when investors thought it was impossible. The speakers argue that genuine love for an idea matters more than chasing money, and that financial success follows when founders are truly committed to their vision.
I think if you have a really good idea, you're super enthusiastic about it, you're doing everything in your heart and soul to help that thing succeed, then money chases you. You don't have to chase money.
And a lot of times you think this idea is not scalable, but how would it work? But if you love something, you can make it work. And new business models come up from time to time because of this reason. I think Walt Disney is a good example again over here because back in the days, I don't think people would have been able to imagine that this could be at such a grand scale in the next decade or so.
Nobody was thinking about it. He was a dreamer. You just love them because they think of these wild things and then they go for them. They actually go for them.
