We're not talking about consensus necessarily or even democracy on some level. It's about being seen and heard. It's about offering an opportunity for people to express themselves and then decisions get made. It's not even about agreement necessarily. It's more about buy in. Because at the beach anyway. And maybe this isn't true for you, but in my experience, both at the beach and running companies and even in my family, buy in is everything. It doesn't mean we'll always agree about the marketing plan or a certain strategy. I love how it is that Ted started with that, that Drucker quote that culture eats strategy for lunch. This is how it works. We don't always have to agree, but we always have to row together. We've got to be on the same page. And in the the boat, rowing together was everything. What would the firm be like? What would everybody's individual leadership groups be like? If you always had everybody simply rowing together, even if they didn't necessarily agree 100% on the strategy, would that be great? Exactly.
