Hi, I'm Adam and I'm a resilience guy. I spent my entire career focused on what it takes to be at your best, even in the most challenging circumstances, including writing the best selling book on resilience called Pivot. Here's one powerful tip that you and your teams can use today. Focus on creating progress over perfection. The environment has changed and, and the way we were doing things has changed as well. And for so many people, they're stuck. They're stuck in waiting for the new normal to return to the old normal, or to be able to do it the way they'd like to do it, or the way they used to do it. And what we've got right now is a situation where we all have to change, we all have to innovate, we all have to improvise. But first and foremost, we all have to progress. And progress starts in small increments. If we can just progress, improve 1% each day, day after day, week after week, over time, we get the compounding effect of that progress and that produces transformation. What stops us is procrastination. And many perfectionists are also procrastinators. So the way to break free of that is simply to focus on the incremental improvements that we can make each and every. And that's it. Focus on sloppy success over perfect mediocrity and transformation will be the result. So it's a small tip that can yield a big dividend when it comes to your company creating resilience.
