Adam Markel delivers a short YouTube monologue (Hot Tub Consciousness series) about the "secret sauce" for sustainable success. He outlines four practical steps—acknowledge, accept, forgive (starting with self), and be grateful—and reframes setbacks as feedback rather than failure. The tone is uplifting, prescriptive, and personal; the piece closes with a brief sign-off and encouragement.

Hey, this is Adam Markell, and I love my life, and I hope you love yours too. Get ready for another installment of Hot Tub Consciousness. I want to start today with the secret sauce to sustainable success. First, you know, a lot of you, it's already May, it's beautiful. The birds are chirping, it's springtime. And you've already, you know, had some really great moments so far in 2011. And for many of you, you've had some not so great moments. And so, from my experience, what I can share is this is there's a secret. There's a formula, a secret sauce, if you will, to keeping your results high and keeping them getting higher and higher all the time, to that sustainability. And the first is that no matter what is going on for you in your world, you have to acknowledge it. You can't change anything that you're in denial about. True or true, you have to acknowledge it. Next thing you have to do is you have to accept it. You have to make peace with it. You have to make peace with what is third, very important. You have to forgive. You have to forgive yourself. Obviously, you have to forgive others. But my own personal experience is that if you don't start by forgiving yourself, you never truly forgive anyone else. And lastly, the last part of the secret sauce is that you have to be grateful. You have to be grateful for whatever it is that's happening. You know, the good, the bad, the ugly, it doesn't matter, because it's all serving you in some way. Everything that's happening in your life is serving you now. You know, a lot of people like to categorize things. They like to, you know, say something is a success or something is a failure. You know, failure is a dirty word around here. Randy and I, our kids, we don't use that word. There's no such thing as failure. There's only feedback. No failure, only feedback. So my suggestion to you today from the hot tub is take the feedback, accept it. Acknowledge where you are in your life. Forgive where you are in your life, and certainly be grateful. Be grateful to spirit, to God, to the universe, for exactly what is being delivered to you. You know, you ordered those goods, and now they're coming, so enjoy them. Smile and just love. Simply love your life. I'm Adam Markell, and I love my life. And I hope you have a great day. Ciao for now.
