Meet "Spiffy" Sean Styles

Guys, maybe I met— like, I feel like maybe I met my match with Sean Spiffy. Like, Styles. First of all, I have a crush on Harry Styles, just saying. Any relation to you?

My cousin. Yeah. And, and, uh, Uncle AJ Styles, uh, former professional wrestler, uh, Tag team partner, uh, good brother.

Oh my God, I love it, I love it. A lot of styles, but you got the style. Okay, so we're live on Chatter Social, we're live on a variety of different platforms. Obviously I don't know my guests. All I know about Sean is that we had a little fun on Facebook. He said something, I said something 100 times more funnier. He said something again, I again was even funnier, and Alex kind of contributed a little bit from PodMatch. And I said, I want you on the show because you look really cool. So, Sean, you have to introduce yourself to everyone. By the way, thank you for being brilliant and brave.

Thank you so much. So I'm new to the podcast world. I'm mostly in entertainment and performing and all that stuff like that. So that Facebook group is my first sort of foray into any of this. So it's been great and it's been obviously a very supportive community. So I'm excited to be a part of that. And Alex and the PodMatch people, uh, have been really great as I sort of try my own podcast. Like, pretty much anytime you put a microphone in front of me, and sometimes, uh, in front of 10,000 people in my underwear, which I'm sure you'll get to, uh, I, I do well. So it's— it, it was something that, uh, accidentally, uh, kind of on purpose became a big part of my life. Uh, what was I doing? Oh, I'm also the adult poster child for ADHD, so you're gonna get a lot of that. So you have to kind of rein me in a little bit once in a while.

Squirrel! Okay, there's a squirrel behind you. I love it. So first of all, you know, I, I don't know about the underwear thing, but I'm happy to share that I'm wearing my Hello Kitty pajama pants. So it is, it is really And when you, when you're doing, when you're podcast host, you go to stand up, uh, my advice is to check below.

Oh yeah.

I, I'm like the crazy one, you know, but I always check to make sure because it's a gift when I actually am wearing pants. If I stood up without pants, I just hurt like an entire nation. Uh, it's a problem.

It's, it's a gift when I'm not wearing pants, ladies. Thank you. Thank you.

That's okay. So a lot of people are looking at you right now and they're saying, I've seen him somewhere on TV. They either have you confused with someone or they have seen you on TV. What is it?

Uh, it's porn mostly. Uh, thank you for, uh, giving my only fans link. Yeah, I got bills and nice feet, so I— we got to figure it out. Um, no, I, I, I was on TV when, uh, oh gosh, I, I think I just turned 18 years old, like my first uh, TV gig, uh, was for a local professional wrestling company, uh, that had a show on, uh, Saturday nights. Uh, it was after, uh, the WWF, uh, Shotgun Saturday Night, uh, wrestling show, and then a company called ECW had a show. And then after those, uh, there was this local wrestling company that also had a show. Um, I had been, uh, a huge wrestling fan, and wrestling has been a big part of my life, which is where the underwear comes from. Um, and it was an opportunity for me to get on, on television and, and learn, uh, sort of the production stuff there. And as the wrestling business has evolved over the past 20 years or so, I've been able to kind of stay adjacent and a little bit active, uh, with the business. Uh, that was 20 years and, uh, a triple neck fusion and a couple other bumps and bruises along the way. Uh, but I'm, I'm here now. I mean, that's the important thing, right? We're here now. But yeah, I did some TV stuff and, and, and the band, uh, I, I do as well. So the, uh, the tagline is the modern day Renaissance man. And a lot of what I've done on these podcasts and just kind of as, uh, people have who have followed me and have seen sort of that, that journey have seen me kind of again being the adult poster child for ADHD. Uh, I, I have. 5 jobs at any given time, uh, which I do, uh, but it keeps me mostly out of trouble. Um, and now that I'm a little bit older and a little bit wiser, like, I get to pick a little more, uh, kind of the things that I like to do, uh, which is how I got into podcasting, because, uh, I like talking, uh, to people and at people and with people. And I'm, I'm weirdly a very introverted person. In real life, which, uh, one of the reasons I love being a performer is it, it forces me to put pants on, uh, to use your own analogy. Like, I, I have to mostly put pants on, and otherwise I will not do that. And I love my puppy, and I love my studio and everything like that, but, uh, I, I should leave the house, uh, more than a few days, uh, here and there. But, uh, so it, uh And I love getting the opportunity to wake up, uh, almost every day and still, uh, as, as I turned 40, uh, have the conversation about, uh, what, what do I want to be when I grow up? Uh, which is a trick question because A, I'm never going to grow up, and B, I don't need to figure that out yet.

Okay, so that's answering the question because I'm getting a lot of messages right now asking me if you are Danny Bonavico, I think his name is. I can't remember, from The Partridge Family, and that maybe you were like reinvented. So can you just answer that so people know if you are Danny from The Partridge Family or not? Because I don't know, maybe he's a ginger, like the redhead kid.

Like, I, I, I have a little bit of— I do, like my— so I'm the worst Italian ever. Like, my, my family is— my mom and my grandma, my, my aunts are all redheads. all Italian, but all from, like, northern Italy. Like, that's where my family is from. So very much like you would look at me and go, this guy is not Italian at all. But I'm not a ginger. I mean, not. Not there's anything wrong with that. Except I. I do have a soul. I mean, as much as anybody has a soul.

So you're not part of the person's family. I just think, yeah.

God, That was like—

no, they thought maybe you were injected with the beauty from, uh, the beauty from Ryan Murphy's new show. Maybe, maybe you got injected and you came back as—

is that actually Kutcher? Is that who the, the pretty guy is?

Oh my God, he's so good. He's so good. I love it. Okay, so first of all, I want to say what— the wrestling is funny because I actually grew up with parents that love wrestling. My dad was friends with the Samoans. Remember when they were in the— they played in the high school? Right, in the high schools.

That's who trained me.

Is that what you're talking about?

My, my trainer is, uh, my mentor is a guy named Samu, uh, one of the Samoans. So Head Shrinker Samu, uh, the original Wild Samoans are Afa and Sika, uh, were the original Samoans. The third Samoan that came in was Samu, uh, who he was wrestling like Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant when he was 18 years old. He was a kid And he was going to Japan and having all these things. So getting a chance to, like, learn from those experiences— like, I— so I broke into the business in sort of like the late '90s when wrestling kind of ebbs and flows. So that was kind of a, uh, like, uh, a boom, like, era. That was the Attitude Era for wrestling. That was when wrestling became really pop culture again. Like, that was The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin and, and that era of wrestling where it was very mainstream. Um, so I, you know, that's when I was a kid and was, uh, just a fan, and then learned, you know, worked my way up from sweeping floors to being the backstage, uh, interview guy to being the commentator, uh, to being a ring announcer to then eventually the guys kind of realized, hey, you're, you're 6'1", like 230, like You want to be a tackling dummy for 6 months and learn how to do this? And I did, um, and I loved it. And, and there's nothing— I mean, music is close. I mean, uh, as far as getting that, that sort of, you know, that, that dopamine hit, like that rush. But nothing, uh, is, is like being a professional wrestler or getting hit in the head with a chair by a 300-pound Samoan, uh, which might explain why I have a broken neck.

Holy God, come on. You know who I was friends with? I was friends with Too Cold Scorpio for a while. He used to live in Celebration, Florida. Nicest guy. And, uh, and then I ran into him, he was like valet for a hotel. You never know, it's a crazy career. But I will tell you, my dad passed away in '90.

He's almost 60 years old, he was still wrestling. Uh, famously, uh, yeah. Famously, uh, I, I, I don't— how, how PG is your podcast? Uh, yeah, Scorpio is known, is known for a couple of things. Um, you know, not to perpetuate any stereotypes, uh, but he is definitely known for one big thing, uh, and then he was the first guy that was doing like flippy stuff, uh, back in the '90s.

That's so funny. Yes. My dad, when he was 90, was still watching Monday Night Wrestling. I mean, my dad really loved it. Yeah. And I don't know if he had a lot of friends that loved it, but, you know, all the grandchildren love it. They get to go. And so I grew up going to all of the wrestling. My dad always had the best seats. So I love that.

Where are you from?

Tell us a little bit more.

I am—

oh, Nuala's here. Let's invite Nuala up. She's so cool. Nuala, come on up. I am from— I'm born in Connecticut.

Really? Okay.

So we—

yeah, they're from Allentown, Pennsylvania, is where the, like, the Wild Samoan training school is, and that's where a lot of them, uh, kind of lived. Uh, but now they're mostly in Florida and California. It's too—

it's too cold there. They were, um, at our high school. They came to our high school. They were like— it was amazing. They came over for, like, I don't know, dinner later. Like, my dad was really close to a lot of them, but really fun. Okay, so now Nuala, say hello so we have a voice if you're able to. Are you able to unmute?

Absolutely. Hello, gorgeous. How are you doing?

That was for me, Spiffy Sean Styles. Just to be clear, I told Sean he looked like, remember Danny from The Partridge Family?

I wasn't even born.

He took some anti-aging. So Nuala, tell Spiffy Sean Styles where you are calling in from.

I'm calling in from sunny Scotland.

I was gonna say, I like the accent.

Scott. So Sean is so interesting. This is— he's funny. He's a modern-day Renaissance man. So we just talked about his career in wrestling. Now I think he has another— oh, uh, he, um, OnlyFans career. Uh, if you're interested, I will help you with a subscription to OnlyFans. No, I'm kidding you. Um, so, and what else, Sean? Uh, music. Oh, music. He mentioned music. Tell us about your music.

So music— so again, part of the, uh, the ADHD kind of thing, uh, like music was, uh, never supposed to be like a career, but a lot of things in my life kind of start off that way and then become, uh, a little bigger than they are. So music, uh, being in a band, uh, was just supposed to be a way to get, uh, free beer and meet girls. It was never— you know what I mean? Like most people in a band. It's, you know, um, and that was— we're, we're about to become legal, uh, we're about to, uh, celebrate our 18th year, uh, as, as a band, uh, the lineup has changed a little bit, but, uh, we've played consistently for, for 18 years, uh, and wait, what, are you kidding me?

Where?

Everywhere, uh, in fact, uh, to your friend from Scotland, I, I was over there, it came up in my Facebook memories, like 6 years ago I was uh, over there for the, the Guinness Sixes. I was in Ireland and, uh, and so Wales and Scotland. And so I got, I got to play a show in Ireland, uh, where there was a lot of Scottish people that were there for the, uh, the rugby, uh, uh, games that came to my show like wearing, you know, the colors and everything like that. Weirdly, they, they wanted to hear Kenny Rogers. Of all the things you would think, like they would ask for, for like, like American music, whatever, like that. Kenny Rogers was, uh, there's a video of a bunch of hooligans from Scotland singing, uh, The Gambler, uh, with me in a pub in, uh, Dublin. That, I think that was the Cornerstone. I played a few shows over there, but that was like, I love to travel, uh, and that's a big part of where music, uh, has been, uh, great for me is like, I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but also Um, you know, I, I commute to work down in like Key West or like Las Vegas. And, um, what do you have? That's— is that my Instagram? Yeah.

Can I play? Can I play? What do we play? What can we play? Can we play this? Is this music?

I don't know.

Is this a photo?

That's a photo. Yeah, I was gonna say, if, uh—

I love it.

Here, I'll give you, uh, I'll give you my YouTube. You can give me a link. Give me a link. Yeah, yeah. Walk of Shame Band, if you want to find me all over the place. But here is— here's the link. Give me one sec. Let me— I just threw it in the chat. Is that— there you go.

Hi, Amanda. Oh, Amanda, this, uh, I don't know if you— Amanda Yo, she's amazing out of Philly. She's a comedian.

She's, she's, she's from Philly, so right away I'm happy.

Amanda will beat him up.

No, if Amanda's from Philly, she's gonna know a lot of where I used to like, perform. And, well, that's in Philly, first of all, is a great, uh, Philly is almost like, like, in it, in— you'll know this from Philly, like Dewey Beach, Rehoboth Beach, uh, like Ocean City, Maryland, like that whole corridor there on the shore is— well, the Jersey Shore too, for Philly people, like, is this hotbed of some of the best, like, cover bands and some of the best music people, like, anywhere in the country. So I spent almost a decade out there, like in the summers, playing from Philly. And a lot of my friends are like Philly people, like Wilmington, Delaware is right over the, you know, the line there. And a lot of great rooms there for like where I've performed for years. Philly's just a really, really bad sports town. And I will fight anybody. Well, not from Philly. You'll throw batteries at me or whatever Philly people do. But I, from a Pittsburgh guy, I, I don't mind Philly as much as the rest of the world, uh, minds Philly. So take it as a, a badge of, of honor that you guys are infamous for how terrible you guys are, uh, as, as far as—

oh, we have a saying that goes, no one likes us, we don't care. You know what I'm saying?

So that was, that was, uh, Super Bowl, that was Earths or whatever they got. It was like pretty much, yeah, it's Philly versus the world, which which I get it.

Yep. Yeah. So, so, Sean, look at this. I'm just gonna— I'm just gonna brag for a second.

I go ahead.

I knew Amanda when she was getting like a couple hundred likes. Now she is killing it. First of all, she's got a great face, great look. Really, we all love her here. Look at these. Look at the numbers. 4,000. She's just killing it. She has 74,000 followers. Amanda, so I'm glad you guys got a chance to meet each other. And, uh, and she's just— she's fantastic. And you can follow her on It's Amanda Yoa at, um, at Instagram. And now for fun, we're gonna look at— oh, you gave me your YouTube. Okay, so you guys, we're gonna— let me throw this in. Amanda, it's so fun having you here. Let me remove the thing here. I'm gonna go here. I'm going to add to the stage. I think this—

no, that's a fashion model. Fashion model.

She should be. Maybe she is. No, not yet, at least.

I don't know, I was trying to find, uh—

I love it. All right, let's play this. Let's see, let's see the kind of music, Amanda. Let's see if everyone's gonna walk out of the room or they're gonna stay. Ready, guys? I don't know if it's gonna blow us away.

Blow me away.

Let's see here. Make sure I got the music. Hold on, let me make sure I'm not muted. Um, hold on, wait, I want to make sure I got this right. Bear with me for a second. Hey Jessica, come on in. This guy is funny. Sunshine, if you want to come up, just raise your hand. Jessica, if you want— we got to figure out how to do this, guys. Hold on. Okay, at the end of the day, the worst is that I will just unmute the site. Let me unmute it.

Okay.

Oh wow, it's awesome! Now am I doing it? Oh wow, I love it! I love it! Who is this great guy here? Oh my God! John Spiffy Styles, kind of related to Harry Styles. I can't believe this. Wait a second, you're right now. Your voice is lovely.

Whoa, I've been called the songbird of my generation by those who have heard me.

Oh my God, perfect for— what is this? Is— you guys, unmic if you have any questions. Jessica, hello. This is amazing. Okay, I want to just check out what we got here on your Let me go here. Oh, I'm loving it! Look at how cool this is, guys.

Wait, I'm gonna keep it.

This is nice. 82,000 views you got. This is fantastic. I gotta subscribe right away. Okay, beautiful. I've subscribed. Look at you up there. Wait, I didn't know, even without the music to check it out. Hear it out, guys, if you're listening to the podcast. This guy looks good. Oh my God, you know what, Danny? I, I was teasing still, obviously, because he looks a little bit like Danny— what was his name for The Partridge Family?

Does anyone know?

Danny Bonaduce. That's me playing harmonica, by the way.

You are so awesome. Okay, I don't know what— like, this is crazy, the amount of things that you're doing. So let me go back to Streamyard. Let me remove this for a second so we can all— but you're better than Harry Styles.

Who do you want to be best known for at the moment then?

Who, what now?

Oh, who do you want to be best known for? Nula asked that question straight from Scotland.

Who do I want to be best known for?

Or, or what do you want to be best known for? I don't know.

It's, um, so, you know, thankfully I, you know, I still have good hair and, you know, I'm pretty enough to go perform in front of people in a very kind of like cosmetic world. I'm still trying to find Amanda's, uh, Instagram, by the way. Put it in the thing if you can, uh, so I can Instagram stalk you. Um, So part of being kind of like the, the modern-day Renaissance man is I'm known for a lot of different things, uh, mostly music, uh, because that's what I've been doing kind of primarily for the past, you know, really like the past 10 years or so. We do a lot of weddings, we do a lot of corporate events, uh, we do, uh, something called Rock Band Karaoke that's super popular where, you know, we do these like private events where like the— you can make the vice president of your company come up and sing with the band, and it's like you get to go on stage with a live band, and it's, you know, not just singing karaoke with just like the track playing. You're playing on a, on a real stage with like lights and the whole experience. So it's, it's a really different kind of presentation, um, than just your typical kind of, of, you know, band or, you know, whatever. So a lot of my background just with marketing and, and like presentation stuff. And a lot of that comes from wrestling because you have to learn how to, you know, look good for TV and stuff like that. So I took a lot of that experience into music where, especially now, like, and a lot of this happened during COVID where everything was shut down, we were doing, uh, live streams. So we were doing like band shows like from like our little studio, but we had like, you know, multi-camera shoot and and like all kinds of stuff, and the audio was really good, and people were stuck at home, so it was an opportunity for them to still kind of interact. And we did it kind of like you do it, where we had like a chat room where people could literally, uh, request songs like in real time, and we would see, oh hey, you know, Heather from Key West likes when we play Brown Eyed Girl or whatever it is. And then people would tip and donate and all that stuff, and that was how we kind of kept the lights on during COVID What I would best be known for, I think, is— so a lot of what I've talked about on podcasts and a lot of people that have kind of followed my journey through wrestling, through music, through writing, through a travel agency, through a nonprofit organization, through the 85 other things that I've done is just trying to convey that you don't have to have like one path. And it's something that I, I talk a lot about with, with younger people because when I was a kid and, and most people like that, I, I'm an elder millennial, but like, you know, the Gen X people, like we all kind of grew up in, in a society where like our parents always kind of reinforced like you, you get a job, you work at that job for 25 years, you get a watch and you retire. And that was sort of like the, the norm back, you know, 30 or 40 years ago with the way the world is right now. It's just not anymore. So trying to give like kids, especially like a, a, a, a, the trying to be somebody that kids can, can look at and go, oh, I don't have to just have, you know, and there's nothing wrong with that, by the way. Like, I know people that are 12 years old, you know, like, I want to be a lawyer, I want to be a teacher, and they know what they want to do. Like I said before, I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, and there's nothing wrong with that. So a lot of my message is, is sort of focused on that, where, you know, kids especially, like, it's, it's just not— they're not going to get a job and work at one job for their whole life. Usually that's not— that's no longer the norm. So a lot of the pushback is, is kind of like the old school, like, uh, way of thinking. Like, and then you get a guy like me that, you know, I wake up and I go, oh, I'm gonna do a podcast today, or I'm, I'm gonna be an astronaut, you know, whatever it's gonna be. Like, it's— you have the flexibility, uh, if you believe that you can do those, those things, uh, you could do that. So to be known for something, uh, hopefully that hopefully people see sort of like my very unorthodox journey and they can take something away from that that helps them in theirs. And that's something that, uh, it's, it's why I, I love being an entertainer. It's why I love being a performer. Uh, I'm a people pleaser, so getting an opportunity to kind of put smiles on faces is, is what keeps me going. And, and whatever field that is in, if that's wrestling or music or, you know, whatever it is, podcasting. I just want, uh, that I get happy to make other people happy. I'm one of those, like, people. I don't know if that answered your question, or did I lose you? Uh-oh, I think we lost Adrian, she was having bad Wi-Fi. I'm gonna keep talking. There you go, she's back. There she is, she's back.

Yeah. Oh, we are— the connection was totally interrupted. Yeah. Wow. Okay, this guy is hilarious too. I love him. Let me go back and see if I got it.

Share the screen.

Okay, okay, okay.

I love that Amanda's got Go Birds in her profile.

God, I lost you. I'm here.

I lost you.

Okay, and hold on, Sean. And hold on, Sean.

I mean, I hear the echo, but, but I'm still here. I lost Amanda again. This is the joy of, of live, uh, broadcasting, is technical difficulties do happen every once in a while. Oh, Amanda, you and I can just trade dog pictures on Snapchat. I would love that. Like, can you guys hear me? Like, am I still alive? Somebody have the chat? Somebody give me a thumbs up. I, I hear Well, I see your lips moving. I can't hear you. Do I have time to get another beer? Well, cheers everybody. It's a Tuesday, right? So I've been, um, been on a diet, which is why I'm drinking, uh, beer instead of, uh, whiskey and Jägerbombs and stuff like that. So Trying to behave myself, which is never, uh, they're easy for me. It's so quiet. And this is where, like, so on my podcast journey, I, I sort of, I talked to Alex over at PodMatch and, and did a little bit of that, like, where Um, most podcasts have like 8 listeners and stuff like that, so it's— I feel like that right now because I can't hear anything else. Like I'm speaking into the void hoping that, uh, some— am I— I'm seeing if I'm, I'm live. Nope. I think I'm Can you hear me?

Sorry guys, that was actually my fault. Um, I clicked out of the studio.

I think I held it down. I had to check to see that I was still broadcasting, trying to hold it down during technical difficulties.

Nope, we're all set. Um, uh, uh, help wanted editor for that big block of time that I need to edit because I normally don't edit. Okay, that's okay. So, Sean, okay, so amazing. So we've got, we've got you're a wrestler. Yes, we got you're a wrestler, you're in the band. It looked like you were singing. How many instruments do you play?

Oh, I barely play guitar. I play just enough guitar to make girls think that I know how to play guitar.

Um, so you're a singer, just a— you're a singer, not just a singer.

I, I, you know what, I— thank you. Like, I Weirdly, like, like, I, I'm way more of the David Lee Roth versus the Sammy Hagar, uh, if you are people of a certain age and, and understand the difference between, like, a, like, Sammy's a way better musician, uh, Dave is a better frontman, better performer. So I am way more performer than I am musician, uh, I, I am lucky enough, uh, to surround myself with amazing, uh, artists that make it look like I know what I'm doing. Uh, so that's, that's the trick, is you get the actual good musicians to, to play, and I just mostly dance around.

I sing a little bit. Okay, so for my friends out there, really, do you not think that Spiffy Shawn Stiles is actually Danny from The Partridge Family? Nula, what do you think? Amanda? Unmic and tell me, you guys agree with me?

Is he still alive?

Anna said no. Oh, is he still alive? I feel bad to ask if he's still alive. I think he is. He is, he is, he is 66 years old. You're looking good, Spiffy Sean. I love— I don't know if it's there, but you remind me of him when he was younger. Just so much fun to watch. Okay, actor. Uh, let me know. I don't know if— well, wrestler, which is kind of acting. Okay, music. Are you— what else? Are you a writer?

Yeah, uh, so I love to write. It's one of those, uh, it's, you know, we talk about this a little bit, uh, just in, in therapy, uh, where I, I do a bad job of doing things just for myself, and writing is one of those things where, especially for how kind of like, uh convoluted my brain can be sometimes, uh, it's an opportunity for me to kind of like, uh, organize my thoughts a little bit. And I've always been better at, at that, I think, uh, because a lot of times with, with the ADHD and everything, like, it's, it's rapid fire. Like, so things are happening upstairs that are like hard to kind of convey, uh, sometimes. And, and a lot of like my journey, especially recently, because I was a late-in-life, uh, diagnosed with ADHD kind of thing. Like, I had, uh, and we'll talk about this if you want, like, I, I went through— well, I mentioned the, uh, the, the neck surgery, so the broken neck, but I went through some medical stuff last year where I spent, uh, a big chunk of time in the hospital. And a lot of, uh, you know, that near-death experience kind of helped me, uh, First of all, just appreciate the day-to-day and my puppy who's sleeping on the floor next to me and those kind of things. But yeah, I do— like, it's one of those, like, neurodivergent, like, staples where you have, like, 85, like, half-done projects, and I'm very much that. So, uh, and what I tell like my friends and, and, and family, but like, so like I will have 80 different ideas every day. Typically if I come back to something like it's something that I like, the wrestling is a good example of that. Like where something where it's not just an in passing kind of thing, it's something that I'm, it's still on my mind. If it, if, if it's still on my mind, like, you know, if I've expressed that there's a lot more going on upstairs. That I haven't expressed, but I'm very much, uh, always sort of, uh, it's hard to turn it off. But it turns out you don't have to. And that's another one of those things where, like, as, as I get a chance to talk more about that, uh, aspect of, of my journey, there are a lot of people out there that felt probably as I, I did growing up, like, like, why am I you know, why am I different? And not, not that your brain is, you know, there's something wrong with you. It's just you process things differently. And a lot of learning about that is for me now. So I'm in the middle of learning, like, how to be a better communicator, where, like, like, I think I said these things, but no, I just thought these things. And like, like, so I have to be a little more, uh, diligent with those kind of things. Communicating is the big deal there.

So I also think though, also, like, I have the same issue a lot of times that I learn differently. So if someone wants to teach me something, just throwing me a video is not gonna really help me. And so, you know, meeting people where they actually can, can learn and to educate. So I love that. I, I kind of think the same thing. Welcome, Consuelo. I'll invite you up. We are live on Chatter Social. I guess I can, I can pivot too. Squirrel. We're live on Chatter Social, just to give you an idea. So there is two of me because I've got the studio and then we've got other people in the room and Consuelo just came up. So that is how fun it is, Sean. But I hear you and what you're saying because I think I have the same issue, though I haven't been diagnosed. My dog tried to tell me, Fez. He's like, dude, you got ADHD. I'm like, I'm not listening to you. But anyway, so, so, but you're, it looks like you're using it as your power and that's your superpower.

It has to be my superpower.

Yeah.

Well, it, so yeah, using it for the forces of good, not evil is how I describe it. Like, but so a lot of like, like the problem solving, a lot of the way like my brain will process that stuff is, is very different. And so there's a, there's a benefit to that, like where I can. You know, I, I could figure things out again differently. It's a great word, uh, to, to describe it. Not better, not worse, different, you know. And there are some things that I'm not, uh, as good at, uh, organizing obviously being one of them. But, um, you need an engineer. I need a lovely assistant to keep me on track, or somebody just to yell at me like, hey, you forgot to do those voice prompts that you were supposed to do yesterday. Which I did, by the way, because I'm doing like— well, I mean, but it's difficult because, you know, like, music is very much like this too. Like, I was, um, I was a finance guy. I— when I graduated college in 2006, thank you, uh, I got a job in real estate. Like, I was a mortgage broker. So this was, uh, when the, uh, it was hot, the mortgages, and, and like people were flipping houses and the market was incredible. And then in 2008, uh, everything shut down. Like the economy bubbled and burst. So, uh, I was crushing it. Like I was a kid, you know, but I was making really, really good money and I was, you know, the top sales guy. Like again, doing it very much my way, which my boss hated, but he couldn't do anything because I was the top sales guy. So, you know, we had a lot of conversations about like, you should come to the office more because I would not go to the office because I didn't have to, you know what I mean? Like, I can go in there and knock my stuff out. And I had a loan coordinator and a loan processor and just give them the stuff and I'd go golf. Um, and, and, you know, the bosses would go, well, look how good you're doing only working like 20 hours a week in the office. Like you would do. So much better if you were here 40 or 50 hours like everybody else. And I said, no, I wouldn't. I'd be bored. I would be not nearly as productive as I am. Like, and again, it's having that sort of hyperfocus that comes with my superpower. Let— I did better kind of setting my own rules. And then one day we went to work and the doors were locked because everything shut down. So it was the revelation I took from that was I'm never going to work for anybody else ever again where they could take it away from me, you know, like where no matter how good I was doing at my job, I can go to work and the doors could be locked, and through no fault of my own, now I have to scramble. So that was the first time that I had, uh, some time off, uh, some money in the bank, uh, and a good severance package, uh, and That's where the music started as a hobby. But all of that, uh, is just, you know, being adaptable is, is the, is the word. Adaptability is, is probably— that's the one everybody uses for me, my therapist anyway. I'm very adaptive.

So wait, so I'm loving this because you're— I'd like to go back to, uh, the fact that What, what maybe like some lessons that we could teach someone that's just coming up into the marketplace? And you know, what do you do if you are a little different? My daughter actually has dyscalculia, and so she's very different.

What is that?

Most people don't know it, but I would say Cher has it. It's a math disorder. So instead of like numbers, you know, dyslexia, it's math. So, um, understanding time, understanding money, mathematical problems, all of that. But her superpower is how organized. So I have a messy brain like you. You and I are both messy. I probably— you probably write like a doctor too, because I write like a doctor.

Well, I'm left-handed and I'm— I went to Catholic school when I was a kid, so I would have to do the, you know, the, the cursive, you know, and the nuns would hit you because they don't, they don't like left-handed people, weirdly.

But yeah, right. But that means your brain— I love that. But, but so in my mind I'm thinking, but what can we do? Do you have any advice if you were going to, if you were going to talk to someone who was younger, just coming out of college, a young professional, and they have a brain similar to, to yours? What advice would you give them in the workplace?

Oh my gosh. So here is, uh, the spiffy Shawn Stiles, the last of the old school, the Modern-day Renaissance Man. Here is my business book. This is, uh, the— this is the book for the young people. Chapter 1: Find something that you love to do. Chapter 2: Find a way to get paid to do that thing that you love. The end. That's the book. I'll save you. You can get it on Amazon if you want to find me doing, uh, like audio. But that's, but that's the book. I mean, that was, that was coming out of the, the mortgage thing. And, you know, whatever, like the band, again, that was something that I liked to do. And what I did was I figured out a way to make that, like, to monetize that, you know. And like now, especially with content creation and, and things like, like even this show like there are avenues out there where you can make money doing almost anything. Um, so do something you love, you know, and, and if you really, you invest in that, like your time, your energy, like your, your resources, like if nothing else, if nothing else, you'll have fun doing the thing that you love, even if it doesn't work out. And usually it does if you are— if you're that passionate about that thing, make it work, you know? Like, you don't have to go sit in a cubicle at a job that you hate for 20 years. Like, you don't have to do that. Like, you can do that if you want to do that, but like, when, when you talk to young people now, like, the number one thing they say they want to be when they grow up, for real, is they want to be a YouTube like star. They want to be a— they want to be an influencer. That's, that's legitimate. You can look it up. That's, that's the number one thing like kids want to be is they want to be, you know, the guy playing video games on the internet and getting paid for it. And that's literally what everybody wants to do now because they see people doing that. They see, you know, oh my gosh, this guy makes a million dollars playing Minecraft, you know, and streaming it, you know. So that exists. That is a thing, you know. It's not for everybody, just like not everybody can go play in the NBA or whatever like that, but it is a thing, you know. You can do that thing because somebody else is doing it. So to be successful— like, this is an actual, like, sales technique— all you have to do is be 1% better than the best guy, you know what I mean? And then you're the best guy. So you don't even have to be Like, you don't have to be, you know, just be a little bit better. And you're not competing against other people, especially now in this, uh, kind of global whatever this is. You're, you're competing against yourself. You're competing against yourself yesterday. So all you have to do is be 1% better than you were yesterday, and then you're going to be you do that every day. And that's— and again, you don't have to work for anybody. Work for yourself. And that's— you will never get ahead working for the man. Uh, do your own thing. Adrian, what do you— do you have like a— I, I love saying it like this— do you have a real job? Which is like the— people say that to me all the time with like music and wherever they get like— like, oh yeah, I'm, I'm a musician. I travel all over the world and I get to sing songs for people. Uh, I I get to drink Jägerbombs and sing Jessie's Girl and they pay me for that. And people will go, oh, well, what's your, what's your real job? I'd go, yep, it's that, you know, but, but I do, I, people don't even, they can't even comprehend that as a, like a, no, you can do that. You could just do the thing that you like and not have to do the 9 to 5 and then do the thing you like part-time or on the weekends or whatever like that.

Like, I'm sure, uh, yeah, I'm actually—

your friend Amanda's like a comedian. Like, so, like, comedy is a great example of this because you have the same sort of process, uh, that you do as, as a, uh, a guy in a band. Like, you start off, you know, you're doing open mics, you're doing like open stage stuff, you're learning kind of who you are with a microphone on stage in front of people. You start playing, you know, dive bars and, and kind of low-paying gigs. And then as you kind of learn what you're doing and evolve, you start getting better gigs and you start like, oh, now I'm a feature, now I'm a, now I'm a middle, now I'm a, you know, now, like, and you move up kind of that comedy ladder until you're, you've got 45 minutes and you're a headliner. And that's like, music is very much the same way. So you look at like the music part of what I did, and all I did for music was I learned it's not so much about what I want to play, it's about what they want me to play. And a lot of musicians never get past that. Like, they want to play the music that they like, and there's nothing wrong with that. But if you're trying to— like you said, like, are we going to listen to this guy and want to run out of the room? Well, no, because my job literally is to play the hits, and my job is to play like the, the mainstream, like people are going to like, you know. And You know, nobody's gonna be mad about like Summer of '69 and Brown Eyed Girl and songs like that. And then we play newer stuff too. Like, I know way too much Taylor Swift for a, a straight middle-aged man, you know what I mean? Like, it's— I know a lot of Taylor Swift, but that's because people ask for Taylor Swift. And that's— it's again, back to the people pleaser thing. Give them what they want and then they'll, they'll give you money for that sometimes. And even playing a crappy song that I don't even really like is still light years better than sitting in a— at a desk or whatever the alternative is. Like, every time I have like a bad travel day or like a gig doesn't go exactly, uh, how, uh, I hoped it would go— and Amanda might be able to talk about this too as a performer— every time I have, like, you know, and it did leave, unfortunately. Son of a bitch.

Go ahead. I know I wanted to say to Amanda, when you were talking and saying about, you know, we all watched Amanda. She created a personality called Pam out of Philly and, you know, got the voice crowd. Obviously, she was— they have to— but she got everything correctly. And then we watched her grow, and now she is doing some— you know, she's out there.

She's—

and we, as we saw, because I remember when Amanda had, you know, a couple hundred followers. We had Nula— was Nula— it's just funny. I want to take a minute, Sean, to just ask— thank you, AR, for coming. It's nice to see you. Consuela, Latonya, Jessica. And Nula and Chatter Social on the app. Come in, it's free. Download it and enjoy yourself. Uh, what I do on the Chatter Social app, I do two things I love. One is I am the host, uh, with Joseph of a true crime podcast, Debate the News True Crime. I got great feed. My algorithm is business, daughters and sons, and babies in bathtubs, and all the killing. Which, by the way, right here in Daytona Beach, we had a young boy walking the boardwalk during the Daytona 500, and someone came behind and slit his neck. Luckily, he was looking up, so they didn't— I mean, it is crazy out there. We'll probably be featuring that one day on true crime. But Sean, I love doing that. That's, that's something I love. And I want— if you guys can unmic, if you are able to, I love it. Nula, any Jessica, Latonya, Consuela, are you doing what you love to do? And in just a few words, what is it that you're doing? Because I, I would like to know. Sean, are you okay with that? If you have time. Okay, do you have—

can I run and grab a drink real quick?

Oh yeah, yeah, we'll get— we'll have Sean run again.

Grab the beer, be right back.

We're gonna give him a guess. Okay, he took his, uh— oh, look at his hair! He's got a, um, uh, what do you call it, a mohawk. I love it. So you guys, this is, uh, Spiffy Sean Stiles. He— what— he, he's, uh, was a wrestler, very fun guy. He was a, a wrestler. He is a musician. He's in a band. I was showing that. And he— I met him on Facebook. Real, real fun guy. So, and he does all kinds of things. And he also, I guess he's a— oh, he does a wedding or corporate weddings too with his band. So very interesting. He's gonna come back and I just wanna hear Nuala if you can just unmike and share what it is that you love to do. Because right before you walked in there, he was talking about, like, literally doing what you love. And I asked if he had any advice because he's got ADHD. So, um, so, and he's got ADHD, he's good looking, he's got a mohawk, he's got red hair, he kind of looks like Danny by the Beach or whatever his name is from The Partridge Family. Okay, Nula, we got, we got Spiffy's attention now. He's got a nice delicious Scotland beer. Um, so Share, share yours, Doula.

Well, I've always been lucky. I've always done what I love and got paid for it. In, in another life, I was a professional dancer, and that's how I got to see the world and get paid for something I would have done for free. And, and then for the past 30 years, I've been a writer and a journalist, and just getting paid to do the things I love, um, and, and sometimes Catch the baddies.

How do you—

I love it.

With, with writing and the way like media's changed, like how are you still— like how is writing like— because I, I love to write and I, I did some stuff like a decade ago and mostly talking about like American politics and things like that that I don't want to— I don't— I wish we didn't have to talk about. But like, um, so how— if you wrote for that long, like, or do you like freelance, or like was it something that, uh Do you have like a newspaper job?

Yeah, I've always been freelance, but either writing for newspapers and magazines or going into the newsrooms and, and doing like a couple of weeks shifts and editing, um, and lecturing. The principles never change. I mean, like, the principles of music never change, and it's just how creative you are. And I've, as I say, I've always been freelance, so I, I know how to do that. And I know a lot of people who spent 26 years in the same newspaper, same newsroom, and they come out and they go, I don't know how to be freelance, you know what I mean? So, um, yeah, we're lucky that we can be versatile and be butterflies and choose where we want to work.

It's a different skill set, right?

Yeah, a different mindset entirely, isn't it?

Well, and, and a lot of people, uh, what I've learned, kind of like, to be like a freelance person means, you know, a lot of people like the, the stability or the, you know, kind of the, like, the guarantee of like a salary, you know what I mean? And, and there's, there's something to be said for that, for that sort of like structure. And, and that works for most people. Like, humans crave some sort of like routine and some sort of structure, which is something I'm learning about as somebody who doesn't have a lot of structure, uh, how to incorporate that more into my journey, right? You know, but like, there are a lot of people that, that need that 9-to-5 sort of desk job, and that's how they, you know, and there's again nothing wrong with that. But to take them out of that environment, a lot of times they're not able to, you know, freelance or do things, you know, without— you have to be kind of like a self-starter. You have to be able to kind of govern yourself with, with your work, or, you know, if you're a freelance person or like a, a contractor, like music is very much like this. Like, if you don't work, you don't get paid, you know. So like, you have to, you have to show up, you have to take the gigs, and you have to like do that. Otherwise, yeah, you can't, you know, just sit there and collect the check. You have to, you have to. But the good news is you're responsible for yourself. Yeah, the nice thing is you don't have to work for anybody else, and then you've nobody— you're accountable to you, you know, and that's, that's different. And for some people that's scary, um, because you don't have that safety net. If you don't, if you don't do well, then, then what?

Yeah, and, and, and the thing is scary for me is what I think— I have commitment issues because I don't want to be in the same publication, then get all these stories that don't suit that publication, and I, you know, I can't go elsewhere. And, you know, so yeah. And but also, even if you're in that job that you think is safe, which isn't anymore, I think it's— you need to go somewhere or be with people that, that know how to think as a freelance, so that if you ever need to, you've got that in your pocket. Rather than just all of a sudden find yourself out of a job and go, I don't know what to do now.

Yeah. Yeah. And that's, you know, like I was talking about when I had that 9-to-5 job in real estate and finance, I went to work and the company had closed and it was out of my hands. So it was no fault of my own, nothing I did wrong. I was their top sales guy, you know, and there's for me, and maybe this is for you as well with writing, like, I, I get bored. So having, like, being able to, like, set new goals for me is always— it's why I love music so much, is it's like most art, it's very subjective. So, like, in sales, you know, you've got, okay, the record is a million dollars, and then you beat the record, and that's— it's a very tangible, very like, there you are, you're at the top of the leaderboard. It's a very tangible kind of thing you see. With music, with art, with writing, uh, anything like that, it's very subjective. So what works for, you know, somebody might think, you know, Led Zeppelin is the greatest band of all time, and somebody else might think it's, you know, Harry Styles, you know, whatever it is, Cousin Harry. And, and they're both right in their own ways. And that's why music for me has always been kind of like like there's always something I can do better or different, and that keeps it fresh, you know. And even with our, our set list, one of the reasons we liked doing the, the live streams, or— and my show has evolved into more of a sort of crowd work, very interactive show— is I, I like to talk to people in the crowd, and almost like very much like a comedian where we talk a little bit and they, they they ask for a song and, and I'm able to like on the fly play songs that people are asking for. And that's a different skill set. Even then, there are a lot of amazing musicians that have a set list where it's like we play these 30 songs and that's when we go in order and that's, that's the structure of the show. And there's nothing wrong— that's most, you know, bands are like that. I, I get bored, you know, if I had to play the same 30 songs, uh, every night. At some point, uh, why it did happen, I, I just get sick of playing the same songs, you know. So I think writing is probably the same way, uh, it is for me, uh, and I, I can imagine feeling like you're kind of like pigeonholed, especially when you want to be creative. Is that something that, like, is it more that, like you said, you wanted to write about things that, that the paper didn't want you to write about?

Yeah, that's why I would never, I never took, you know, if I was offered a job, I just immediately felt claustrophobic because we have all these ideas and we go, I'll sell this to that paper, I'll sell this to this radio station, and you keep yourself interested like that. Mm-hmm.

I agree.

But yeah, I love that.

I've taken over your show now. I'm interviewing.

Sorry, lost her in.

She, she has bad internet, but that's okay. It's the, the joys of, of modern technology.

That must be must be driving her nuts, but she's, she's really good at adapting. And that's another thing we need to be good at, isn't it, as freelancers? They're just adapting to anything can happen, you know.

And, and it is a, like you said, it's, it's a skill set that most people that are used to that kind of 9-to-5 newsroom structure never really get to, uh, experience. And they certainly don't get to like nurture that, you know, because they, they don't have to and, and there's nothing wrong with that. But like, that's just not a, a, a part of the skillset that they would typically use because they don't have to do that. But as a freelancer, hustler is, is what the, like, I, I'm a hustler, you know, it's, you have to be able to sort of, you know, find those, those kind of entrepreneurial like opportunities and be able to recognize them first and foremost. But then also be able to capitalize on those opportunities as they come. And that's in itself, uh, a skill set. And I, I think that's where my brain, uh, being big and beautiful— and Adrian's back. So welcome back to, uh, the Spiffy Sean Style Show. Uh, she can't— I can't hear her, but she's there.

Yeah.

Wait, did I hear Hustler? Hustler? Oh, uh, yes, June. June of 2003, Hustler magazine features me on the COVID hustling. And if you believe that, I got a bridge for you.

I was gonna say, like, wait, like, oh, let's find a link for that.

So, Nuala, thank you so much. I want to tell you, Consuela is in the room. Consuela, we only have a few, few seconds left, but I'm curious if Consuela, AR, or Dylan wanted to share if you're pursuing, kind of like a yes or no, if you're pursuing, if you are loving the work that you are doing now that you're older. Sure.

I am definitely much older now and more wiser. No, I love what I pursue. I do. Like, I knew I was the brain that would want the corporate structure, the freedom and everything else. So That's why I work from home.

Tell us what you do. Tell us what you do.

Uh, I'm actually a, uh, a corporate travel consultant, and I used to manage a travel agency in leisure market. For now, been 30, over 35 years in industry, but I still love the passion of having people, right? You need these, like, these people just to go to. That's why I love it, you know, when people come to me and say, hey, are you still an agent? Can Can you book me on these things? I'm like, yes. So I love that part, but that's now a quarter of my, my job. So I'm a talent agent influencer for an international talent agency. So I get to represent my other job.

Yeah.

Yeah. Hit me up.

Yeah.

We got like, it's incredible. The whole world just opened up to me and it was just an incredible experience as I started this journey. And that to me, I'm, you know, to me having the freedom, having the corporate, all in one umbrella, it to me is gold, you know. But you have to find the right fit for your life, and I think that's really important.

That's why I'm looking to see what I could give of your Instagram.

Um, I will slide right up into your DMs. I like to work.

Yeah, I love that. Okay, so Consuela Creatives, is that the one? Consuela?

Yes, everything across the board is Consuela Creatives.

Everything. Okay. And then let me make sure I'm spelling your name right, because it is C-O-N-S-U. By the way, Consuela, she teaches here on Chatter, as does myself and Nuala. And here we go. Here we go. And then let me go like this. Let me go like this.

Let me go like this.

You know what? Adrian's the best networker. I thought I was a good networker and collaborating people to each other, but look at her. Like, this is crazy.

Like, so funny. Look how fun. So here you are. So it's— oh, let me go like this.

Oh, there you are.

Okay, boom. Put that in there.

There it is.

So very cool. And then you'll see. So, um, Sean's got to get to you because he is talent. And that's, that's what you want is talent.

But yeah, but, but one of the things I got to do with all the international work that I've done, like in Japan or like Ireland, I mentioned playing like shows out there. There, there is a, there's a market for that, like especially for like American like entertainers and performers, like because, you know, A, English is, is a worldwide language, uh, now. And but there's like, like resorts and there's like, like destination travel and all that stuff, uh, is, is a whole market in itself where there are these opportunities where, you know, you could play in the, the Dominican Republic or you could play in Ireland or like we've done weddings in like seriously in, in, uh, the Dominican that have been amazing and I love doing it. A, I love the travel so it's an excuse for me to travel. B, you know, if I could travel and also get paid for it and get somewhere with my guitar. And, you know, listen, I, I fly Delta, so, uh, I've got my Diamond Medallion. You can get me anywhere you need to get me, Consuela. If you need me to go international, I love it. I, I need some more stamps in my passport. So literally, my passport's like right here. I don't know why, but it's— I think I was doing some sort of like checking.

Well, while we're doing this, I just— I don't want to end up— and I don't want— AR, are you, are you available? If not, that is okay.

Yes, yes, I am now. Yes.

Hey, check this out, check this out. I'm gonna go share the screen and I'm gonna share— look at that! Wow, you guys see it? Look how nice that looks. So this is AR. AR, introduce yourself to Sean's 50 Spikes.

Hey, uh, how are you? Um, I'm, I'm a creator. Um, I created this brand, uh, it's called Harlem Homage. It's my first— it's my first clothing brand, and I, I did it to pay homage to Harlem, obviously. And, um, that's pretty much it.

Beautiful. I— it's so— it's so— it's, it's very lovely.

Thank you, thank you.

I am loving it.

That's an awesome storefront.

Live in your life, live in your life. I love it.

I'm so glad you're in the room. I mean, I, I love these. I— so I have a, a, a wrestling store, like Pro Wrestling Tees has some of my shirts on there, but I need somebody to like design like better shirts, uh, for, for, for the evolving brand that I am now, uh.

Let's connect. So let's go.

Okay, let me do it.

Let me go like here. Let me go here. This has been fun. Maybe I'll just change the whole way I do my podcast now.

Well, I mean, it's one of the nice things about me having so many different—

like, I'm sorry, I mean to talk over you, but how you're doing this show right now is amazing to me right now. I'm totally amazed by how you, how you're working everything right now.

Oh, AR, I will show you that anytime you want to know. And last here, Dylan, are you able to unmute?

Uh, can you hear me okay?

Yes.

So Dylan is so interesting. So Dylan, introduce yourself, and I'll see if— and then, and then we will have to let, um, and then we'll let, uh, Sean go. But go ahead, Dylan, introduce yourself.

Uh, thanks, Adrian. Hey everyone. Uh, hi Sean. Uh, so my name is Dylan Taylor. I enjoy helping and serving others, whether I've been employed by others or recently for some time I've been the CEO of Blindsight Connections. I'm a vision-impaired and disabled entrepreneur and I help businesses be accessible for individuals like myself and others and helping the— your business or website, app, all kinds of things that you need done to be accessible. So that's what I do, and being able to help as well as being able to advocate and bring awareness for individuals like myself and others. So that's a little bit about me and what I do and how I can help businesses.

Is that cool?

Yeah, it's awesome.

I love it. Thank you, Dylan. And what I love with Dylan is Dylan has been a member of this community for for all of us, like 2 years. We're going on our 2-year anniversary. But when Dylan's in the room and if someone is playing a video or showing something, they will, um, they will share exactly what he's seeing. So right now, Dylan using StreamYard. I have Siffy Sean Styles. He is a modern-day Renaissance man. He's very good-looking. He's got a nice face, double dimples, red hair that's in a mohawk, uh, light, um, light mustache and beard. Reminds me of Danny from The Partridge Family when he was younger. Weirdly enough, they both sing, so maybe he came back. I don't know, though. Danny's still alive and he's funny, and he was a wrestler before. So, uh, hopefully that helps, Dylan, and gives you an idea of, uh, the, the man I have on stage here. But this has been great. Is there anything that I didn't ask you that I should have asked you so that I made sure I accomplished everything?

No, yeah, listen, like, like AR said, like, what you're doing with this podcast and, and admittedly I'm new, uh, to this like, uh, community, but like, I obviously, for my brain, uh, it's very like freeform, and that just works in general for me. But like, to do that and sort of like we talked about a little bit with the organized chaos that exists, uh, on this show, I love it. And thank you so much for having me, and, and thank you to everybody, uh, uh, on the chatterbox Chatterbox? Chatterbait? Whatever. Thanks for paying attention.

Oh my gosh, ChatterSocial.

ChatterSocial.

ChatterSocial.io, everyone. Get on here. And then this is the book I was telling you about. This is my book, The PodMatch. It's Unscripted Brilliance, The PodMatch Edition. Next up is the ChatterSocial Edition. I've got a few spots left for my ChatterSocial friends to be in the book. $200 for your interview like this. And Chatter Social. For this one, I'm doing, uh, Breakfast with Champions. And so very excited. And Sean, I'll be sending you a chapter. Actually, Sheila Slick, uh, interviewed you from Pod to Book.

And yeah, we talked about you actually.

I bet you get two different interviews. I'm going to ask her to do— run both chapters because I want to see what it looked like when you were with— because Sheila is probably a little more serious and I'm a little more goofier. So we're a good match together. And of course, you have to be brave and bold to get on a podcast. Just so you understand, I don't know who my guests are. Now, this one I did know because we kind of connected with a few funnies on Facebook, but it didn't— you know, I didn't like look them up or anything. But usually I just go on. There's no prep needed. I say yes because like if I, if I had to say no or pass, then I'd be checking you out. But I don't check anyone out. So it is a unique style going live on ChatterSocial. Have you ever had a live podcast where you've had other crazy voices?

I have.

I mean, you have AR? Wait, let's ask Sean first. Sean, have you?

Yeah. I mean, so what you're doing way better than me is, again, the organized chaos that you have here, and that works a lot. And You know, not for everybody, but, but again, that's sort of the, uh, that's sort of the theme is, you know, I, I'm not for everybody. And that's one of the things I had to learn, you know, being comfortable with myself. And I still struggle with that just as far as like, you know, that's that the insecure, uh, performer in me, uh, you know, because part of being a people pleaser is you want people to like you. So, you know, having that, that sort of unfiltered, uh like outlet is, has been— honestly, it's been a little bit therapeutic for me just to get a chance to, uh, to talk and, uh, get a chance to connect with people like you and Sheila and that, and the PodMatch, uh, crew that has been really, really nice. Like, that's for somebody like me who is— so the, the technical term is ambivert, so I'm an introverted person that has a very extroverted job. So trying to balance those things out, like where a lot of my real life, I'd, you know, I want to be just petting my puppy who's moving around, you know, and playing video games and not dealing with the, the world because most of the world stinks. And as you get older, you realize how most of the world stinks, and then you get— you kind of cling to the, uh, to use, uh the words of a great poet of my generation, you, you tend to stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to. You don't chase waterfalls anymore. You— but as you, you know, that's part of learning.

Wrong in our head.

Thanks.

Oh, go chase him, dear. Geez, there's absolutely such great advice. Such great advice. I love it. Hey, I'm sorry, I didn't want to interrupt you. I, um, I think I— you were saying something. I want to make sure.

Yeah. AR, with your experience with, uh, you know, sort of the unorthodox, uh, interactions that Adrian and I have.

Oh yeah, well, um, first of all, pardon me for chiming in earlier. I just thought it was directed to me. But, um, but yeah, I, I haven't really had any podcast experience. I've had experience with television production that goes back into the '90s when I produced a music video show called Video Underground. Uh, it was pretty successful. It was just— it was Manhattan Cable Access. Um, and, uh, we went on to win, uh, what, 4 Billboard Awards for the show. And, and so I've been looking to get into podcasts and ever, you know, as of late, especially since I've been on Chatter. And, and the thing was, you know, uh technology to me still wasn't exactly where it needed to be until I just saw this.

Yeah, I got you.

AR and I are going to have a meeting, so I'll help you. I got you. I got you.

Absolutely. Absolutely. So, yeah, I'm excited for the possibilities just from watching this.

So I love that. Thanks, Sean. You know, it really is. I have to just say for a second, Sean, being on Chatter Social is so fantastic. We've got some amazing people. I love it. Grant Cardone pops in no matter what you think. He's awesome. Do you remember Jeremy Green? Jeremy Green, uh, was in a band. Very interesting guy, very well known. You can look him up. He, uh, he'll pop in. So we get some— we get like the ARs or the Adriens or the Consuelos and the Dylans, and then we get the, uh, Cindy Stumpo and some amazing people. And everyone is open to teaching and sharing their thoughts. And then you could find me at 9 PM, uh, every night on Debate the News. I deliver the Dateline. I deliver the breaking news.

Really?

So much fun. So I know what you mean. Yeah, so I absolutely love it. So I, I love it. I love doing the, uh, the Debate the News podcast. True crime is— we're very popular right now. We're doing great because we're different, because we go— Joseph and I read the timeline and then we have a live audience to discuss. So, um, we just did Elizabeth.

I love that.

So good. I love it.

I love that interaction. I, I like the real-time interaction, like even with the chatter social thing. I love that you have like that sort of engagement. Like, I, I had it with like, you know, kind of like on the YouTube Live or the comments. You can like kind of keep up with people if you're streaming, uh, your, your content. This is way better. Um, it's a, it's a matter of kind of getting the community to all kind of use that as, as sort of the interactive platform. But like, it's— I love that.

See the camera? See, do you see that? How like, so if I look at myself, it's me. But that is the camera right there so that you could get on camera here. So we also have— thanks, guys. We also have— we've had people singing and playing and playing their music, and they do it live on chat. Actually, there's a variety of talent shows. Consuelo does Fields of Hope on Sunday. So there's a lot of shows. We have Billie King on here who is in the film industry. She's amazing, and she's doing great work. We've got some— we got DJ sessions. We got some amazing— I would tell you, it is crazy. Come on, Chatter Social. It's free. I'm downloading.

I'm at the website right now. I'm loading.

And check it out, check it out. It's really fun. All right, I'm gonna let everyone go. We did a nice hour and 13 minutes. Sean, thank you for your time. I loved every minute with you. Thank you. Have a great rest of the day, you guys. Thank you on Chatter Social. I really appreciate you all being here, and all is great. I'm gonna end it right now, and then I'm gonna take my nap.

Just all my links, uh,.com. It's just Spiffy Sean Styles. Anywhere you type in Spiffy Sean Styles, you'll find me. Uh, please follow, like, subscribe, all that kind of stuff. Uh, if you want to talk wrestling, if you want to talk, uh, mental health, if you want to talk modern-day Renaissance man, uh, I'm happy to collaborate with everybody. Uh, and great networking, by the way, to the, the Chatter Social people. Uh, I've got, uh, some international gigs coming up now. Uh, thank you, Consuela. And, uh, I think I've got a new t-shirt design, uh, coming up. Thank you, AR. So like, it's, it's, this is awesome. You have a great community, and I— and thank you for inviting me in. Uh, I appreciate it very much.

So, um, in honor of my true crime, everyone stalk the guy. Just stalk him. Find him. Stalk him. Don't go to his home though, and, um, just go to his concerts. Wait, do you play in the Orlando area?

Yeah, actually I do. Yeah, so, uh, not as much in Orlando anymore, but, um, but all over Florida. I mean, especially now, like, so I've been Key West for the past like 5 or 6 years, has been sort of my second home. Uh, but I've got, uh, we've played a lot in like Fort Lauderdale, like, uh, uh, the beach basically, but on the other side, Fort Myers as well. So I was gonna say, what about Daytona Beach? I'll go.

What about Daytona?

If you have a wad of money and a bottle of Jäger, I will show up. I don't care where you are.

I need your— I need your stuff so I could give it to the, um, whoever handles the, uh— we have the boardwalk and the beach and the whole thing here too. So, all right, I love it. I can't wait to see you in action. In the meantime, I'll just look at your YouTubes. Thank you everyone. Have a great rest of the day. This was fantastic. I'm so
