Akansha Yadav shows how to view uploaded data in Tableau. After your dataset loads, select a table and click View Table to see columns and rows. The default shows 10,000 rows but you can adjust it down to 10, 20, or 40. This view is read-only for inspection only, not for building visualizations.

Ladies and gentlemen, so in this video we will see that how we can view the data. To view the data, what you have to do is first you have to upload the data. If you have— if you are not sure how to do that, you can check out the bell icon, uh, you can check out the i icon for the link, and you have to get, get the data on your Tableau. Once you have the data, you will get the tables section on your left-hand side. From your left-hand side, you can view the tables that you have, and once you have those tables, you can just move to each and every table. Once you will scroll over there, you will find this View Table button, and once you are on that button, you can view the tables easily. So whichever rows are available, you can view that. The column names and everything, you will find it over here. You can also limit the number of rows using this Rows button, which is currently will be set to 10,000. You can set it to any other values as well. If you wanted to just view 10 data, 20 data, 40 data, you can update that value. So once you are updating that value, you will get that those many rows only. Just like in that case, I am using 10 rows, so it will— you will get the 10 rows data only. So this is how you can filter your data, and this is how you can view your data. This is just for the view. You are not going— you cannot make any analysis on this view data that you are viewing. Maybe you are selecting limited rows. This is just a view data section which is not applicable for your graphs or nothing. So if you like this video, don't forget to hit the like button. We'll meet in the next one.
