Good morning, gang. There's a lot that we can learn from our elders in life. You see, all of those years of experience do count for something. So for today's financial fitness report, I have my top 8 money tips that I learned from my grandma. Tip number 1, do more with less. Somehow Grandma was able to take care of all of her bills and feed everyone that came to the house on $800 a month. Now that's what we call magical budgeting. Tip number 2, shop sales. Grandma would look for the best sales and find the best deals every chance she had. Tip number 3, Sunday newspaper coupon planning. Now Grandma would plan her meals for the week based on what she found on sale and the coupons that were in the Sunday newspaper. Tip number 4, hard work really pays off. Grandma taught me the power of working hard for what you want. Waking up early and staying up late is part of the formula for taking care of your family. Tip number 5, make use of what you have. You see this skirt? It was made out of an old shower curtain, and Grandma used this outfit to dance for the military. Tip number 6, know your budget. Grandma seemed to always know what she had even though she didn't have a written budget. Tip number seven: generosity. Grandma is the kindest person that I know, and she would give her last dollar to anyone in need. And tip number eight: no matter how much money you don't have, you can always present yourself in a professional manner. For take two, I'm Alan Akina. Here's to your money.
