They also thank Alan for introducing them to the program.

Aloha, my name is Ikaika.
I'm Ipo, and we're from
Kapolei. We've been at 101 Financial for going on almost 2 years. We joined in, I believe, 2013?
Yes.
In October, actually on my birthday in October 2013, and we were introduced to 101 Financial through a family member. who had joined before us. And prior to being on 101, life was pretty rough. Typical paycheck-to-paycheck living, stress, a lot of arguments and hardship. We're a family of 5. We have 3 children. It seemed like we were never gonna get nowhere. I worked 2 jobs, and so did my wife, and worked 7 days a week. Right when we joined, we kind of just moved back in with my mom because we couldn't afford the place that we were living in. And that was really stressful for our marriage. And You know, as a man, it kind of hurt my pride to have to go back home to my mom and ask for help, especially since we have 3 children. It really was hard on me and on our family. It was in a small place. It wasn't like she had a big home. We were all 7 of us in a 2-bedroom. It really wasn't fun. My credit score was I didn't have a good shot, so it's not like I could just go and get a place. But then, even though I worked 2 jobs 7 days a week and barely making it, you worked.
I also worked myself 2 jobs, living paycheck to paycheck, that, you know, struggle that most people have to encounter in life. And it was definitely hardship, definitely. And, you know, by the grace of God, we were able to find One-on-One through a family member, and they were able to help us financially and and kind of give us that, the educational background of money management. And we, you know, One on One has been such a blessing in our lives. Truly it has. And, you know, we can't thank Alan enough for sharing about One on One Financial. Thank you. And our lives has changed tremendously. I currently work one job now. He works one job. We're able to spend more time with our family. Our children are way happier than ever. ever before. They love One on One too. So it's definitely been a blessing on our lives, and to see our transformation from where we came from to where we're at now, we have financial peace of mind.
It took only 6 months of being on One on One Financial to get us out of the debt that we were in, to increase my credit score from a 575 to 710, paid off $25,000 in 6 months that It was 2 auto loans, some credit cards, and some back taxes that I had. And after that 6 months, you know, the credit score got better, we had no debt, now we were able to save. And about 2 months after that, which was a total of 8 months after being on One-on-One Financial, we were able to get our own place. And we moved into a 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment, townhome, however you want to call it. It relieved a lot of stress on our relationship that, like she said, allowed us to live life, be happy, our kids were happy. We took our first trip a year after being on One-on-One as a family. It's something that we've never done. We took our kids to the Hilton Waikoloa on the Big Island, and we stayed there for about 4 or 5 days. That was awesome. And now, getting close to 2 years on One-on-One, our biggest dream and goal that we could ever hope for is actually coming true. As she said, we are looking to Moving into our first home, and we are currently in escrow, and we are buying a 3-bedroom, 2-story, 2-bath home in Kapolei, and it's a brand new home. It's still being built right now, and is this the part where I get to show the picture? Haha. So this is our new home that we look forward to moving in before Christmas. It's a 3-bedroom, 2-bath 2-story townhome in Kapolei, brand new. Our dreams are coming true. This is something that we, we only hoped for that we could achieve, and through 101 Financial, it has allowed us to get our finances in order. And
it's so funny because last night we were just talking about how we don't even stress about money anymore. Now we can enjoy life and And live life to the fullest because that's what it's about. It's about enjoying your life and not worrying about financial struggles or having it be a conflict in your marriage. It truly is— One on One Financial is a blessing. One on One Financial is a blessing.
