Expenses, do they feel like they're adding up?
Here's Alan Akina with our financial fitness tip.
Morning, gang. Do you attend meetings for work, business, church, or school? For those of you that do find yourself attending tons of meetings, you can probably feel the pinch every time you pump gas, pay for parking, or jump on a plane. Now, travel expenses could be a significant part of our budget. I recommend using conference calls in place of a physical meeting. Now I understand there are some meetings that you can't replace, but if you get creative, you will find effective ways to use this tool. I've been using a service called FreeConferenceCall.com for quite some time. This service allows you and your members to meet over the phone. The service is 100% free, great quality, and offers you a dedicated conference call number that you can use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Long-distance charges may apply, but the service is completely free. I use this every week for my business. I've also used it for sports teams, family meetings with relatives here in Hawaii and on the mainland, and I've also connected with old friends all on one call. For Wake Up Today, I'm Alan Akina. See you on Thursday.
