It contains a testimonial from Glenn and Leanne Philhauer, a married couple from Kāneʻohe, Hawaii, describing how they adopted a financial system (prompted by Alan’s book and meetings with Auntie Dee and Uncle Merle) beginning in December 2013. They describe outcomes including paying off roughly $55,000 of debt by the end of 2014, clearing credit card debt, paying off two cars, buying and renovating a rental property, and paying down about $35,000 on a new mortgage. The couple praise the program for giving them financial peace, bringing them closer together, and recommend viewers watch Alan’s short (30–45 minute) presentation.

Hi, I'm Glenn and this is my wife, Leanne Philhauer. We're from Kaneohe, Hawaii. We got started on 101 in December of 2013. Early in 2013, I met Auntie Dee Ferreira, who was a master at the time. We met her at boot camp, or I met her at boot camp, and she gave me Alan's Super Duper Easy Book on Money. And I took it and I put it in my gym bag. About a year later, I had forgotten about it, and my wife Leanne and I were talking about getting married, and she said, you know, first thing we gotta do is number one, we gotta go to couples therapy because she's a therapist, and number two, we have to see a financial planner. I said, hey, I have a book from one of my boot campers in my bag. So I went and got the book and I gave it to Leanne, and—
I read it immediately.
And the next day, she was grumbling to me all the way to the gym about what the bank's doing with our money. And she said—
We gotta go meet these people. So
I set up an appointment and we met Uncle Merle for the first time. So we saw the presentation and we were sold immediately. We understood the value of the system. We wanted to learn more. So we got started in December of 2013. Probably January, February 2014, we had the system rolling. And by the end of 2014, we paid off $55,000 worth of our debt. We had no credit card debt. We paid off both our cars, so we hold title on both our cars. In 2013, we also bought a third property. We renovated one of our rental properties, and to date this year, we have paid down $35,000 on our new mortgage. So it's amazing. It's just about being diligent and following the system.
It's an awesome program. It definitely gives you financial peace.
And it's so nice to be debt-free.
Uh-huh. And brought us closer together, and we just We just live much happier, much freer. It's a wonderful way to live.
We're loving life and we encourage everybody to take a look at the presentation. It's a simple half-hour, 45-minute presentation. Alan makes very simple sense of the system that we're using, and I say get started today. The biggest complaint is not doing it sooner. Aloha.
