Aloha, I'm Perdel.
And I'm Jaylen Sito, and we are from Wailuku, Maui. Our journey with One One Financial began back in— 2015. 2015. The biggest blessing for us is we started this program at a really young age, and I think that put us a little ahead of the game in regards to long-term goals, retirement, acquiring more, which we think is really important. But at the time, before we had gotten started, I was a bit hesitant, And the reason why was because we worked a lot and we had really good jobs that paid really well at the time.

And keeping up with the Joneses, we would just buy fancy cars and kind of buy things that we didn't need, live beyond our means. We didn't have any debt, but we literally lived paycheck to paycheck. I mean, who's gonna pay the daycare? Who's gonna pay the rent? Who's gonna do the groceries this week? It was kind of chaos in our household. And so We began our journey in 2015, and it was so amazing to really see what we could do within like a month and 2 months. And so 6 months into the program, we were proposed with homeownership, and it was a huge step for us because at the time I was 20 and I believe he was 23, and we don't really know anything about finances or, you know, what is a mortgage, what are interest rates. what are loans. And so we actually were able to attain homeownership 6 months into the program. So we purchased our first home in Kahului, Maui. Life got a bit chaotic and we decided that we no longer wanted to reside in Kahului and raise our family. And so we were proposed with a second home option. And so we were able to close on our second home back in 2018. And right now our main goal is to pay down our homes so that we can acquire more assets down the road and hopefully retire Pradell by the time he's 40. And so we know the goal and we work backwards to get to that goal quicker. And so if we're able to put all these things into action with the knowledge of OneOne Financial, I think we will be in a much better place 10, 15 years from now. We hope in the future that we can be able to pay down our home.
