Money is hard to come by these days, and saving every penny makes a big difference for most of us.
Financial consultant Alan Akina tells us how to do just that.
Good morning, everyone. Here's a Thrifty Thursday tip for you. Don't buy things that you can get for free. Today we're at the Kahuku Public and School Library to discover all of the free things that are available to us. The first thing you need to get is your free library card, which is good at all public libraries. And of course, you know, you can get books and magazines that you can check out for up to 21 days. You can also reserve a library computer and get internet access for free for up to 1 hour per day. You also have the ability to check out books on CD. These are some of my favorite. Now, some locations have what they call Tuesday Nights at the Library where you can attend various classes on fitness, crafts, how-tos, and more. Of course, all of this is... Free. Free. Now tune in next week as I'll share with you some of the new cool tech stuff that the library has to offer. For Wake Up Today, I'm Alan Akina. We'll see you next week.
I like those tips.
Yes.
He's got a lot of them. Thank you, Alan. We appreciate that.
