With gas prices skyrocketing, everyone wants to know how to save money at the pump. Alan Akina has a tip on this Thrifty Thursday.
Good morning, everyone. Are gas prices killing you? Well, it's killing my buddies and I. Meet Pita, David, and Hangman, coaches for the Kahuku High School football team. Today's Thrifty Thursday quick tip is on how to save money on your gasoline bill. What these good coaches have done is decided to set an example for our community by riding their bikes to practice every day. Now, riding a bike to work or school will not only save you a ton of money on gas each month, but it'll help you to save our planet. It also happens to be a great way to exercise. For Wake Up Today, I'm Alan Akina. Thanks to the Kahuku football coaching staff. I'll see you on Monday.
Now, that's a great idea.
Yeah, this Kahuku football— even the coaches are big. Yeah, that team is amazing. I love Kahuku. Really good football squad.
What? Kahuku Raiders?
Kahuku Raiders. My father-in-law, Sal Valdez, is a Kahuku alum back in the day. Yes, they did have school back then.
