If you're doing any of these things in an interview, you have to stop immediately speaking negatively about your past employer. I don't care what they did to you. Do not sabotage your future at this company by speaking ill about another company. They're going to assume that's how you're going to talk about them someday. When you interview at your next job, bringing your parents to an interview or involving them in any way, shape or form in the interview process. Just don't rambling. Answer the question, then shut up. Don't ramble. Don't go on and on like I'm doing right now. It makes you look nervous, it makes you look unprepared, out of control. And it makes you look like you might be lying. Also, don't ramble. The entitlement's gotta stop. Know your worth. Don't ask for a crazy amount more than that. Be reasonable. Don't be entitled. You are there to work for the company. Yes, it's a two way street, but know your worth and ask for it again. If you're doing any of these four things, put it out. Let me know if I'm missing any. Let's add more to the list.
