I think a lot of us have seen this woman who rants in her car about how she has an $80,000 student loan for a marketing degree she got, but she's a server and she can't find a job because she has no marketing experience. I'm going to tell you how you can create your own experience at home for free. Go find a job description online, any marketing job description. Put it into ChatGPT and say, I want you to teach me these skills using a case study. Then you can pick a brand. Maybe it's the company or the brand that you got that job description from. Maybe it's your favorite clothing brand. Whatever it is, it doesn't matter. Tell ChatGPT I want you to teach me the skills in this job descript description and we're going to make a marketing plan for this business or this brand. Maybe the objective is to grow the social media following for the brand. Maybe the goal will be to raise awareness for customers out there. Whatever it is, the end result is going to be a couple PowerPoint slides that you can show in interviews and you can say, look, I've never had an internship or a job, but I've created this case study at home and I'd love to tell you what I learned. Let me know. Would you try this.
