My first job out of College was in 2013. I worked for a home hemodialysis company that made a hemodialysis machine for people with kidney failure that would go in your living room so you didn't need to go to a dialysis clinic. And I was a R and D engineer, research and development engineer, mechanical engineer. I remember the first thing that I struggled with, which is odd, was what to wear. When I was in college and grad school and my graduate research lab, I wore jeans and a T shirt every day. But this company I worked for, they were a startup in Silicon Valley, and I wanted to dress more appropriate.
