Here's a challenge for the next interview you're invited to. When they ask you questions about yourself, don't just talk about yourself. If they say, why do you want to work here? If they say, tell us about yourself. If they say, what makes you great for this role? Talk about you and how you will fit in with the company. Don't know how you'll fit in? There are resources available to you, like the company's website or Glassdoor. Here's an easy exercise you can do. Go to a company's website. Find their mission or their values. Maybe they're into sustainability or integrity or transparency. Before the interview, think about how your values align with sustainability, integrity, and transparency, and mention that in the interview. The interviewer will think, wow, they'd be a great fit here. And as always, good luck.
