If I had half a million followers, here's what I would tell people. You guys need to be able to convey your value when you meet anybody. Usually I post about job search content and this applies to interviews. But when you meet a stranger, when you meet somebody at the grocery store, when you are networking, and when you're in an interview, you need to be able to convey your value and why the other person should know you, why the other person should do business with you, why the other person should hire you. You. You guys have no idea how many people in talent acquisition, HR and recruiting that I talk to on a regular basis that say people have awesome resumes, they've worked at Twitter, meta, all these different places, and they get to the interview and they can't even describe what they did for work. They can't. They can describe what they did at those companies, meaning, like what the project was. But when the recruiter or the HR professional asks them, what was your impact? What was your role? What did you do to contribute? They can't answer.
