Sometimes a company doesn't want you to finish out your two weeks and it's for a couple of reasons. Sometimes they want to protect sensitive information that you have. They also want to avoid any conflicts and if you seem pissed off, they don't want you to do anything drastic. It's just a heads up. Plan accordingly.
