In this motivational monologue, the speaker argues that most entrepreneurs are fundamentally selfless, driven by a desire to make a positive impact and improve lives. He emphasizes that earning money is merely a byproduct of the value one creates for the marketplace. Compensation, according to the speaker, is directly proportional to the societal value an entrepreneur provides; those who fail to deliver value should expect correspondingly low earnings.

For entrepreneurs, I believe that a lot of entrepreneurs out there are selfless beings. I mean, you know, there are the ones that aren't, but for most entrepreneurs, I would say we're out here to make an impact. We're out here to change the world. We're out here to make lives better. Making money, that's just a byproduct of being able to make an impact. You will get paid in proportion to the value that you provide to the marketplace. If you're someone that doesn't provide value to society, to humanity, then you can expect to be paid in proportion to that.
