A designer spent a full day using Windsurf, an AI tool that lets you visually select UI elements and modify them with natural language prompts, then auto-generate code. They found it easier than Cursor for actually committing changes to real client projects.

So I just spent all day vibe coding on Windsurf on a real client project and pushed and committed real code on a real client project. I know this is absolutely insane. I'm a designer, so coding and reading code and modifying code doesn't really come easy to me. But with Windsurf— and by the way, this isn't sponsored— I was able to actually select on elements on my user interface, call that out, and prompt the AI to make changes to the item that I selected, which is something that I couldn't really do using Cursor, which as a designer, I'm really, really bullish on a visual-first approach to using some of these AI editors. But I'm super curious, if you're a designer, have you used any vibe coding tools like Windsurf?
