Hey now, DrewTube time. Today I got a letter from the IRS and they're sending me to collections. Woohoo! Isn't this crazy? Yeah, seriously, here it is. They're sending me to a collection agency, the IRS is. So I want to talk about this letter and how it can relate to your own personal credit. I don't mean like the collection. Yes, collections affect your credit, but how I address the IRS and how it affects your credit. Okay, so I've been working with the IRS on something. They communicate in snail mail form, hardcore letters. I keep them in a folder on my laptop and then I reference them. So like, here is my laptop, all right, and here are a whole bunch of folders for things. And in one of these folders is some IRS letters and even my own letter that I send to the IRS. You better believe I keep records of all this stuff because this isn't the first time that this has happened. And this is what I want to relate to it on your own personal credit too, because people will say, hey, Andrew, my credit's not doing so good. I had a mistake. That's cool. Mistakes happen, but I need you to get it under wraps. This is like grade school. If you don't pass the test in front of you, you can't go to the next grade. So your credit is like a test. You will stay organized. You will stay on top of it. You won't shy away from it or be afraid of it. You're going to keep folders on your computer where you keep records of things because when you have 5,000 bills because you're so wealthy, you'll be able to manage them all. You can't get to 50 bills or 500 bills if you can't manage 5. It's all a test and you can pass it. I hope this makes sense how I'm describing this. You better believe the IRS told me. Sorry, the IRS did. They took it all back. Everything's worked out because I keep good records. Hope all this makes sense. I'm Andrew Postell. Thanks for watching today's Drew Two.
